The sneaker felt way too tight. And I usually order the same New Balance 623 model, however this time it was too snug for me I felt pain in my foot when I walked, very disappointed.

Extremely disappointed with this sneaker. It is extremely snug. It hurts my feet.

M623 Fit is fine. Lucky me!...in my 70s, I found my feet had gotten bigger. I went from a sz 15 to a sz 15 1/2. Nobody does 15 1/2, few do a 16. I like these shoes...been wearing them since they were M621. In my recent years, my balance has not been great so these shoes feel big. So, I take em off in the house and wear moccasins. They have served me well since I was in my early 60s (used to power walk three plus miles, 3 or 4 times a week), always held up well. I recommend them.

The sizing has changed on this shoe. Shorter and narrower.

Great shoe! Comfortable right from the moment I put them on. Runs about 1/2 size small. Did exchange them for 1/2 size larger - no problem. Zappos' customer service is the best I've ever found anywhere! Thanks for all you've done for me through the years.

I like these shoes. Very comfortable. I have worn size 12 for quite some time, but I noticed on the last pair of New Balance that I bought, my toes were a bit squished at the top of the shoe, so I ordered a 12 1/2 this time around. Much better fit. You may consider buying a half size bigger in this model.

I had liked a pair of New Balances bought years ago in a department store, so I decided to try these. I wore them all day the first day and would not mind using them for everyday shoes, though mainly they are what I wear for handball. They fit very well. I usually wear wide sizes for street shoes, but gambled on medium width with these and was quite satisfied. As always, Zappos was fast and efficient.

We buy these for my 23 yr old autistic son, because very little comes in his size at 17 EEEE. He is a toe walker and wears through these quicker than I would like (4-6 months), but not unexpected. There is nothing sexy or attractive about them (could be due to the huge size), but they do the job they need to do. Very thankful that New Balance makes these shoes as other brands in his size cost 2-3 times as much and don't last 2-3 times as long.

I have been buying this item for several years because it's the best I can get at the moment. I have several old pairs, and they fall apart in the same spots? every single time. Either the rubber separates from the toe or from the heel or the stitching comes out of the top inside of either the right or left shoe.

I'm a delivery driver and these shoes pretty much gives me the support I need. I put these shoes through the ringer. They last a good 6 to 8 months considering what I do. I wish the cushion inserts would last a little longer because after about 4 to 5 months it pretty much falls flat. Other than that they get the job done.

My go to for the last decade. Last pair failed on the sole coming adrift after about a year. The newer styling doesn't yield as much around the small toe. Looking forward to a new set, but wondering where to get them stretched now my local shoe shop has gone.

I wanted to get a shoe that didn't look so big. So I chose 15. Turns out it was a little too narrow. So I returned them and bought the 16 4E.

Show looks nice but much stiffer than the v2 ones I own

Good, comfortable shoe. Only complaint is that, when wet and walking on a hard, smooth surface, people can hear me coming as these shoes squeak like crazy.

These are decent shoes for work when you have to stand all day. They are light and flexible. They have good cushioning. On the downside, they don't have the same arch support I've found with other NewBalance shoes. They squeak when I put different insoles in them and they don't have great ventilation.

New Balance seems to deride this shoe in each new iteration. I had to change my usual size (smaller and wider) in order to obtain a still less than optimal fit. Looks good though.

Comfortable. Top eyelet is reinforced, which should help durability. Squeaks when I walk, which is annoying.

After 4 months these are junk. Soles have completely broken down. Can’t return them so gonna throw them away.

I usually wear a size 8 1/2 in New Balance with no issues. This style I had to return due to the toe box running narrow. Thankfully Zappos helped me find another style of New Balance that fit.

I'm on my feet 12-14 hours a day. I've been wearing these for about 3 months and they're just not that comfortable.They also stretched out and feel extremely wide. I don't recommend these and I'll be going back to Asics

Overall the fit is ok. The leather is not very comfortable to me and I have back problems and there is not lot of support. I am looking at a pair of Brooks now because of the support in them.

I only wear New Balance, and these were not as wide as all the other wide shoes I've ordered. It was very clear that a blister/callous would develop on the outside of the big toe, which is where the extra room was missing.
