I have always wanted a Kate Spade purse and the timing was right...good sale, lovely red color, perfect pockets & lining. Even the packaging was flawless. But mostly I wanted to do something in memory of Kate Spade. When I use this purse, I will remember to pay closer attention to my friends & family. I am sorry Kate Spade felt she had to leave us but I am going to make her death mean something in my life. Thank you

Love it. It is VERY structured, no play in the sides/top. Plenty of room for lots of things - I carry my cased iPad and an organizer purse (yes, a purse in a purse) and there is still plenty of room for random other things. The outer pocket has a strong magnetic closure and is perfect for those things I need to access quickly (phone). The ONLY issue I have is with the color. The "tusk" portion of the tusk/black bag, can take on a slightly very pale pinkish tone in certain lights.

This bag is very cute. I love to carry it around. I have gotten many compliments on it. I just love it!

I have always been a Kate Spade girl. Ever since I first step foot in the nearest Kate Spade store, I fell in love with her style and chicness. I am also a graphic designer so her designs totally stood out to me and I feel that they totally compliment my appearance.

I never thought I would see the day I spent actual money on a purse, but alas, the day came and boy, am I glad this is where I chose to invest it. The bag itself is gorgeous, and absolutely built to withstand the life of a 21st century person.

Took a chance on the bag even though I was not sure from the picture. Bag is beautiful and the picture does not do it justice. Have received several compliments on the bag. One person stopped me and said did you get that from the Kate Spade site. After answering yes, she said, "Wow! Looks so much better than the picture. I need to go buy this bag."

I have two of these bags (porcine and burgundy), both of which I brought on sale nearly two years ago, they were that good. Absolutely gorgeous and functional for work, though the lighter colors will show stains easy. My fav is the front slide pocket, which is deep enough for security but accessible enough to stow my building keys and phone. Fits my macbook and ipad easily and a bottle of water.

At first I was hesitant bec. I'm not sure with the size. But it's perfect! Perfect size! Perfect color! Sophisticated!

I purchased the Candace satchel in the warm vellum/tusk/black version. It arrived very well packed. It is beautiful, classy, and the perfect size for work. I love the striped cloth interior, and as other people noted, the front pocket holds more than you would think. Due to the light colors, it does attract marks, but I took them off with a leather wipe.
