Ecco is one of very few brands that consistently delivers quality and comfort without compromising style too much. I usually wear US size 8.5, and these in size 39 fit perfectly. Very comfortable shoes, no need to break them in. They felt as if I owned them for years. I work in a "dressed-up" office, and I have a standing workstation - wearing high heels is difficult while standing. These shoes are just perfect without looking too casual. I also bought Felicia sandals for the office.

Nothing like slipping on a pair of shoes for the first time and being able to walk several miles in them. That’s what you get with these. They are the most comfortable “work” shoes I’ve ever had.

I had another pair of these shoes and wore them all over London for a week--I walked at least 5-6 miles every day, rain or shine, in pants and with a silk skirt and top at one point. Very versatile show with a good grip sole and non-clunky profile. But my feet have flattened and widened, and I needed a new pair. The most recent ones felt too wide in the heel, even if I put a heel liner in them, so I returned them and am trying a pair of Munro that are very similar. However, if you can find your size, the Eccos are a great solution as a comfortable travel shoe that looks fine with pants or dressier outfits.

It's very difficult to find attractive shoes when you have bunions. I am so happy I ordered these. They aren't clunky like most shoes for comfort. These are very sleek, streamlined and comfortable. Thank you Ecco!

I ordered a second pair because the first pair is so comfortable and great looking. I will wear these a lot and when I finally wear them out I will have another to wear.

This would have been a great little loafer type shoe. I liked the fabric top part and the heel height. The shoes would work with jeans, slacks and dresses, which was what I was looking for. I ordered my usual 38 and it was too small. So I ordered a 39 and it was way too big. Drat! I've had a horrible time finding shoes that fit this year. Zappos has been very patient with my continued purchases and returns & I'm very grateful for that. I'm really hoping the next shoes I ordered will fit just fine. just fine.

I usually wear a 10AA, the length was great as well as toe area, the heel a tad wider but did not slip out of shoe. Pleased with purchase.

I have medium to widish feet with a bunion on one foot only. I usually wear sneakers or hiking boots, and open-toed sandals in the summer, but I needed a pair of dressy shoes for fall/winter and these shoes are fantastic. I wear size 8.5-9 and bought size 39 in these. The fabric does not irritate the bunion. I could probably walk a couple of miles in them. I actually bought a second pair so I will always have a pair! These shoes will work well with dress pants or a skirt.

I have a wide forefoot, high instep, and narrow heel. I previously ordered the 9.5 and it felt too narrow in the toe box but the heel was just right so I decided to try the 10. The 10 was too big in the back half of the shoe and felt just as tight in my instep and toe box. Oh well! Great Zappos service, as always!

These shoes are fantastic! It was the sixth pair of closed-toe low heel shoes I ordered, and finally a pair that fits! I needed a pair that I could walk at least a half mile in, to evening events or dinner with dressy pants or skirt, and these fit the bill. (Perhaps I could walk farther in them, but I won't try as I wear sneakers or hiking boots for that.) I have difficult-to-fit feet; medium to widish with a big bunion on one foot. My heels are not too wide. I need stability in a shoe as well, having had two back and two knee surgeries and a recent hip replacement. I wear mostly sneakers or sandals, Merrell or Keen hiking boots or Tevas with adjustable velcro toe straps. I wish that they came in navy as well. Lifesaver shoes!

These are very comfortable! The stretchy but still dressy fabric is so very kind to my arthritic foot!

True to size, but has some give. Very comfortable right out of the box. A perfect shoe for city walking and standing.

My absolute favorite shoes ever!!! Bought these 3 years ago, and wear them almost daily, traveled in them extensively on beaches, cities, easy hikes, you name it, and they still look good as new. They are simply indestructible, easy to clean, and go with every occasion. At work I'm on my feet the whole day and walk extensively, and still my feet do not hurt in these shoes at the end of the day. The only con is that they do not look good with skirts and dresses with my skinny legs; so I mostly wear them with pants.

Very comfortable, nice looking shoes. I have a big problem to find shoes I can wear without discomfort. My feet are flat, with totally fallen arches, hammertoes, hardware in my ankle and very sensitive skin. It is really very hard to find shoes other than sneakers, which I can wear for longer time. I ordered from Zappos a number of pumps from different shoe makers, all were really nice looking shoes but none I could wear for a few minutes and had to return all of them. In these shoes I felt immediately so comfortable, like wearing gloves. They are soft and light and have removable pads so I could insert orthotics. I am very happy with this shoes. Thank you Zappos for this and for such quick delivery.

The shoes fit fine for length and width, but the insole was not as comfortable as I had come to expect for an ECCO.

I love the shoe. I have flat arches so the moderate arch is perfect. Just enough to give me the proper support unlike most flats. They felt good from the first day. I wish there was a little more stretchy-ness. Having flat feet makes a shoe push outward near where you should have an arch in a flat shoe. This is not as prominent in this shoe but I still see it. If you have flat feet, I recommend this shoe for you!!! I might go a half size smaller and hope that I have enough room heel to toe. I find that it is maybe a quarter size looser than my normal size. I have occasional slippage on the heel with tights or hosiery but not when I wear them bare. I ordered a 39 and I wear an 8.5 B. Overall this is a great shoe. I hate flats but now I walk 15000 steps a day at work. I look professional, but feel like I’m wearing sneakers. ;)

When I first opened the box, I wasn't sure if I liked these shoes or not. I don't usually order shoes with a textile upper and this shoe is very plain at first glance. After putting them on and wearing them around the house for a while, I liked them better and better. They're very comfortable with good footbed and arch support. They make my foot look slim and have an elegant shape. I wear an 8M, ordered the 39, and they fit well...just a touch loose which will be good since I plan to wear them on vacation soon to a city where we'll do a lot of walking. The stretch fabric will also keep them from rubbing my toes. I think they'll look great with ankle pants and with black leggings/tights. I probably wouldn't wear these to the office with a suit/dress, but they'll be fine with a more casual skirt or dress. Thumbs up! I might even get a second pair. This is the 3rd pair of Ecco shoes I've purchased recently and the length doesn't seem to be consistent. The Bluma ballet flats were perfect in a 39. The Sense flats were too long/big. These shoes are good, but seem slightly longer than the Bluma. I find Ecco shoes to be very comfortable so I wish their size standardization was a little better.

I bought these shoes for a trip to Europe. I wanted a pair that would like nice for evening but still comfortable for walking on cobblestone streets. These shoes seem very comfortable. I still have the trip coming up. They're pretty plain so I didn't rate them high for style, but the heal is kind of nice. I wear a 6 1/2 shoe which means 36 or 37 in European sizes. I needed a 36 in this style. I have a high instep and this shoe worked fine for me.

38 was way to large and 37 way to small - and I have/own multiple pair of Ecco shoes - all size 38. The 38 came in an unlabled box and was huge - 37 was too small - so either they have no quality control on sizes or Zappos has a pair of mis labled shoes. Wanted to love these shoes but the inconsistent sizing made a return necessary./ How can 20 pairs of Ecco fit perfectly and this one is way too large and wide? - I have to suspect it was a manufacturing issue with the blank box shoe. Since this shoe has been sold for years - i think its a bad shoe
