These shoes fit and perform well after 6 months of daily wear. I don't use these for running so my experience with them may not relate well to running use. I usually have to wear orthotics in my shoes. I have multiple problems with my feet. I require arch support, I have a neuroma near the ball of my foot and take a 10.5 wide shoe. Needless to say I have many difficult issues to deal with when buying shoes. I have never had a pair of shoes that are this comfortable. Some how the sole of this shoe gives excellent arch support, but also is cushioned enough to ease pressure on my neuroma. I bought several pairs. I have never had to use my orthotics in these shoes! Feet feel great!

Although New Balance does show this shoe available in 2AA (Narrow) my size 6 were not. Generally though, I purchase 6B in sneakers and boots because I tend to wear thick socks with both. My last 2 sneakers, Nike and Ryka, were getting a bit worn so I opted for these. They are nice looking, Navy and Orchid purple, and very comfortable. However, I do want to point out that I wish they had these available in the AA because I would exchange them as even with my thicker socks they do slip on my AAAA heels. Not the shoes fault, so I've given them 5 stars all the way as they are really comfortable and for my thin feet allow plenty of room for my toes. Orchid purple looks a bit on the pink side for me, but that is just a personal thing. Other than that the only negative is just that I wish athletic shoes came with longer shoe laces (54") instead of the 45" so that I could do up those last 2 holes, maybe my shoes would feel a bit tighter on my narrow feet!

Nice cushion and fit my Powerstep Pinnacle insert well. A little long. This is my first try at New Balance in a long time. Another New Balance in a different model, same size was not long. I might try a half size smaller. The eyelets for the laces were off kilter on one side of one of the shoes of the pair I got, which I thought would annoy me, so, this pair goes back.

Great all day standing shoe. Run big so I did have to exchange for a half size smaller.

For the record, "droplet and basin" is a very pale blue and dark navy accents. It's a very attractive shoes but the photo doesn't appear that way on my computer. This is my 3rd pair of New Balance 840 v3. I practically live in them.

Bought this shoe after being fitted at a bricks and mortar New Balance store while on vacation. Love, love, love them. Buying additional 840v3's at Zappos. Even though this is classified as a running shoe, I no longer run. But they are great walking shoes. Sole of the shoe seems to be flatter than most but it has good arch support. I have a very high instep and after wearing all day, I actually hate to take them off.

Excellent shoe! I am prone to plantar fasciitis because I walk on the outside of me feet. This shoe provides the perfect cushion and support.

These shoes are spectacular! I had just about given up on New Balance. I have a wide forefoot, narrow heel and kinda high arch and use orthotics which makes shoe buying a challenge. These are very comfortable. These are the usual size 8W that I always order but the toe box is just a little bigger and deeper than usual, practically luxurious. The shoe is plenty stiff enough and the tongue is good. I don't even recognize the problems other people are having. I had to look at my shoe label to make sure I had the correct shoe site. Mine are the dark gray, I like the color. Ok, so the sole is glaring white but nothing's perfect.

The shoes fit very well. I get pain in the ball of my foot if the shoe is even slightly tight. No pain after wearing all weekend!

Love these!!! Did need extra arch support, but I have very high arches....worked perfectly!

it may have taken a few tries but finally found a new pair of NB. I put them on and out the door I went. I did not have to break them in.
