Comfortable shoe, but felt smaller than the marked size.

I bought these shows because I wanted a higher heeled shoe that I could walk in all day. I love these shoes and ordered a 7 since I am a 6 1/2. The shoe was pretty snug but I kept them because the last Sofft shoes stretched too much. Once I stretched them a tiny bit, the shoe is very comfortable and I can walk in all them day as I hoped.

These shoes are very comfortable, there is nice padding on the inside and the stacked heel makes it very easy to walk around. I found that the strap on the front fit comfortably and didn't pinch at all! Love these shoes!

Based on other reviews, I bought these first in Cork Montana in my regular size, 6.5. They really are charming and feminine, and it's so nice to have the strap to hold them in place. They fit well, good cushioning, fine materials and craftsmanship. I like them so much that I decided to go with the black patent and the reddish-brown patent. I did go up a half size, based on another review, for the reddish-brown but had to stay with my size for the black patent because the next size up wasn't available. Wouldn't have had to size up after all. The reddish-brown is only slightly big, so I think they'll still work. I have options to take up the slight slack.

This is an ADORABLE heel height and style. Super comfortable and cute to wear with jeans or a business suit. ABSOLUTELY love these.

Super comfy, very stable feeling. These are the first heels I've worn comfortably since having my baby and the only ones that didn't have me walking like a newborn calf. I'd recommend getting a half size bigger than normal.

I have this shoe in 2 colors, so I'm obviously a fan. Comfortable and cute! I go between 8.5 and 9 and for these I got 9s and have been very happy with that.

These are gorgeous shoes, leather and hardware are beautiful. They were also immediately comfortable and I was able to take them out of the box and wear them all day with no rubbing or blisters. I was apprehensive about the heel, which is higher than my usual work shoe, but I had no problems. I love the retro sort of vibe they have too.

I absolutely love these shoes! I have them in four different colors but Chianti has everyone taking notice. It's a beautiful deep rich color that's great for office or evening.

Perfect, right out of the box! These shoes look as great as they feel. They are the most subtle touch of "BAM" in my very conservative nature of work. Most certainly a comfortable, all-day shoe! I ordered up half a size due to the nature of the toe box. I'm glad I did. When our Florida heat surges, I still have plenty of room to wiggle my toes and slide them off when my feet get hot! Love these shoes. I got them in 3 colors. The black patent, chianti patent and the brown color. I haven't worn heels in a while since I broke my foot last year but then I recently saw these and all the stellar reviews and decided to get the black patent. I literally walked 20 New York blocks in these the first night I wore them. Of course it didn't feel so great at the end of that but it could have been so much worse! So I decided to get the other colors for work and they have been great. I'm a doctor who is up and down on my feet for 10 hrs a day and they feel great all day. Glad I found a cute heel that works for me. Tons of compliments on them as well! True to my 9.5 size feet.

I bought these shoes for a fall wedding I was a bridesmaid in where it would be chilly (toes covered please!) and I would be standing on grass, meaning I needed a bit of a wider heel so I wouldn't sink it. I've got insanely wide pancake feet and finding comfortable shoes is a difficult task, but particularly with heels. My feet are more truly a 9w but almost all of my shoes are 9 1/2 because wide widths are usually not available. I got these in a 9 1/2 and they fit great! I was on my feet for at least 8 hours, standing and dancing, at they were comfortable the whole time. And I think they're super cute and have a really traditional look that is been in probably a century, so I don't seem them becoming unfashionable anytime soon. I do wish the buckle was silver instead of gold but that is an incredibly minor detail and just me being OCD about my jewelry matching my shoes.

I'm a bit of a retro nut. I style my hair and wear red lipstick every day. As much as I love authentic, vintage shoes, I haven't found any that I can wear for long stretches of time without causing discomfort. I have slightly wide feet and I must invest wisely in my shoe wear. That said, these shoes are simply dreamy. So fabulously feminine. I normally wear a 7 wide in Sofft brand shoes but they did not have that option so I went for a 7.5 medium. They are a wee bit tight but the leather will stretch a little and still look sexy. They are cushiony and comfy and I can run around all day in my retro glory without loudly clomping through the grocery store. As always, Zappos goes above and beyond in customer service. So pleased with this shoe!

Love these shoes. They fit so well and are really comfortable. I bought them to wear at a business conference where I was on my feet all day, and I was surprised by how comfortable the shoes still were at the end of the day.

Buying these for a witch costume for Halloween and they're perfect! I might wear them for the conference I'm going to this week- SUPER comfy insole- great arch support and a lifted ball of your foot pad that helps your feet take a beating. I bought them for a costume but might make them part of my every day wear! I'm a true 7 and they were perfect.

I love, love, love these shoes! I got the Chianti color - it is a very deep, dark wine red. They are nice enough to wear with a suit. I get compliments every time I wear them. They are the most comfortable heels I have ever had, I can wear them all day. I am ordering a second pair for when these wear out.

Let's just say, I don't like heels, so I want one pair that is comfortable that I can wear with anything. I never can find ones that are comfortable. I read loads of reviews and chose this one. I'm glad I did. It is as comfortable as a heel this tall could be. They are not overly trendy and a fashion shoe, but they are functional, traditional and well made.

The first time I wore these shoes it was for a 10-hour shift and had little ache afterward. There was a slight pinch on the toe but nothing a little stretching can't help. Love the materials and the craftsmanship. Worth the $$$!

Comfort meets sexy! Almost a keeper. As a flight attendant I need more and this was lacking arch support and the old school buckle style makes it laborious to get in and out. If you need a shoe for an event this will work but on the daily it's a no-go. For reference my feet are 8.5 to 9 and I usually get a wide width but when unavailable I size up half a size. I have hammerhead toes and enjoy a large toebox. My arches require a little bit more support. Ordered the 9.5 medium width and enjoyed the fit, however I needed more arch support.

Purchased these for a wedding - love the look and fit, but I'm not used to wearing heels. They are comfortable at first, but not the best for a long day of walking and photographs. Still - better than other similar options, and a beautiful gradient color.

Nice shoes, usual size fit perfect. Leather on the heel will scratch easily but that's pretty normal. They're just too hard to get on and off. I guess I'm just not a mary jane shoe person - returned for slip on heels.
