Great boots. Definitely runs small. I ordered 1/2 larger than I normally due to the reviews and glad I did. They are made of nice leather and I love that they are also lined in leather. I ordered the tan rustic and it's has a lot of "distressing" so make sure that is what you want. They come just below my knee. I am 5'6" and of medium build. I was easily able to zip up all zippers (I love the back zippers - very stylish) over skinny jeans. Overall, great boots. I normally wear size 8 and ordered 8 1/2 and they are JUST big enough. In fact they need to stretch a bit, but that's why we love leather!

These boots are beyond beautiful, soft distressed leather a bit tight on the calves (I do not have wide calves) But they do run small so mine will be going back, but I can right away order half a size bigger!

These are truly gorgeous. And, I wish that I could have kept them. Sadly, the heel box (not sure what else to call it but this boot has a very structured heel) dug into my heel/back of my ankle too much to keep them.

Lovely boots, but the shaft was too small... I couldn't get them zipped so I have to return them!

These are really tough looking, stylish boots. Too bad they ran almost a size and a half smaller than the size indicated. I have another pair of Bed Stu boots in the same size and they are really comfortable. Don't know what's up. I have to return these.

This is a super tight fit. Size felt a full size smaller. I have normal-to-slim sized calves, and it was also a tight fit in the calf. Calf would've been fine but my feet were smashed up inside.

These are so cute but run very small! Sad that I hate to return but I may try a size up.

I love the look of these boots and they fit fine. I wear an 8-8.5 and I got the 8.5 in these. Glad I did because they run a bit tight. After wearing these a while I got a blister on my heel where the boots dig in. Wonder if I should’ve got a 9? I still have them and hope they stretch out.

I bought these a 1/2 size bigger (I'm a 9 and got a 9.5) and they were still WAY to small. Am sending back.

These boots are so cute and I really wanted them to work, but the shaft was VERY narrow. I usually wear a 6.5-7, so I bought the 7 and couldn't even zip it. I then got a 7.5 and it was still too tight in the calf. For reference, I've worn frye boots for years with no problems with shaft width.

I don't know where to begin. I ordered a half-size up from my shoe size. This boot was way to small. I can't tell if it would be comfortable in a larger size, but I don't think it's worth trying. Also, I have narrow calves and like a very tight boot, but this was super tight. I probably couldn't have closed it with a thick sock. This was really disappointing.

Super cute. Nice quality. They were about 1 full size too small so I am sending them back. The height seems a little tall and looks odd on my 5'5" body so I am not going to replace them with one size larger.

As far as style and functionality, these boots were exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately though, their fit was horrible. Like other reviews said, these shoes do run small so I ordered a full size up and even then they are a little tight in the toes and even tighter calf (most boots I have no issue with calf width). My biggest complaint is that while the boot is snug everywhere else, the heel area is super roomy which just makes for an uncomfortable and awkward fit. I'm so sad to be returning these. The hunt for the perfect brown boot continues....

These are such cool looking boots and the leather is great quality, but they ran so small in a weird way. I could not get my foot into the heel and ankle area and I am not a big girl nor are my feet. So, I think I'd order a size or even two up if on the fence.

It came without the shoe box. It was delivered only in the Amazon box. For the price of the shoes, you would think that it would be shipped nicely.

These were at least a full size too small and cheaper looking than online. Very disappointed

These are beautiful boots- I read a lot of reviews and thought at 5’4” they would not be too tall- but they were. They also bunched in the back at the top. A very well constructed boot- but didn’t work for me.

These boots are beautiful! I have a narrow foot and these boots are still too narrow for my foot. I ordered my standard size of 9M but they were really short and super tight. The boot was also very hard and I could not imagine wearing them for any length of time. But thank you Zappos for your excellent customer services as always!

I wear a size 6 and probably needed a size 7. I have a skinny calf and still could not zip this boot all the way. I have several pairs of Bed Stu shoes and boots but this one is definitely a miss.

I was disappointed given the good reviews I read and my expectations based on the GoGo Lug boots I have. I ordered the same size as my other Bed Stu's but these were too narrow/tight in the foot and short also. Opposite problem on the shaft. The height was awkward, kind of cutting into the back of my knee and too wide. They went back. :(

I absolutely love the look of these boots! But they are unwearable! Truly! I wanted these to fit, and was willing to deal with moderate discomfort, but these were 100 percent uncomfortable. I tried two different sizes, hoping that changing the size would cause more comfort, but it did not. These boots are unbelievably uncomfortable. I would save yourself the headache of returning them and not buy them at all.

I have had two prior pairs of boots by Bed Stu and they ran on the large side. This pair I LOVE but they are run so small! I wear a 9-9 1/2 med to narrow and they are WAY too tight. And they are not offered in a 10. So sad.

Loved the styling and leather quality, but foot size was much smaller and narrower than expected, while the calf, even with the extra zip, zipped, was way too wide. I’m normally an 8 or 8 1/2, but my toes touched the end of the 8 1/2. Ordered a 9, which fit my foot better, but the stiff leather behind the heel pressed so much with each step that I just knew it would cause blisters immediately. Plus the top was so wide it looked like I was in rain boots. Disappointed to have to return because they’re gorgeous.

I have been searching for a boot like this. Unfortunately, one of the zippers completely broke off when I unzipped them to try them on. I would send them back for a replacement except the calves are GINORMOUS. I don’t know how anyone could think these are remotely small because they are just absolutely gaping around my legs. Back to the drawing board for this quest for boots.
