I just didn't like the square/oval toe. Just personal preference

My old feet are fussy. I loved how the boots looked, and they fit well for my wide feet (bunion), but the sole was not stiff enough for my arthritic feet. If you have mid-foot arthritis, try a different brand. I tried flat carbon fiber inserts under the orthotic insert, to add stiffness, but then the shoe was too tight with two inserts. It might work if I order a larger size (I may try that someday), but carbon inserts are $60 each.

Fit was perfect for my very narrow feet with a high arch... easy off and on. .. just did not care for the square toe.... probably will regret returning them.

I really like these boots and they felt comfortable immediately after wearing. They are tighter on the low calf, so initially did push on the back of my leg, but it was not bothersome/painful. I had to order two pairs of these as the foot bed came and was creased at the heel. At first, I thought it was a defect in the boot until I figured out I could remove the foot bed and reinsert it farther into the boot/toe. This fixed the problem and they have been great ever since!!!!

I wanted to love these boots. They were TTS and felt comfortable straight out of the box. While they are more streamlined than the 550s, the boots were a little "western" looking for my taste. The square toe was very prominent.

Went half size lower than my usual per the suggestions in the reviews, but it was too small. I would just order your normal / true size.

Very nice looking boot, but huge on my very narrow, thin foot. The boot made my feet (size 9) look kind of like clop hoppers. But perhaps I am just accustomed to very narrow, fitted shoes and boots, most of which have laces. If they had fit, I think I would have liked them.

Fit and size seemed fine for my wide feet--and that's saying a lot. It's very difficult to find shoes and boots I can wear. I generally need men's or unisex styles, because women's shoes are not built wide enough in the toe box. I also really like the gray-black leather--understated. These will go with blue pants as well as black and gray, while shiny black sometimes is too much contrast. However, unlike my other Blundies, the insole of these is not comfortable. There's a doubled-up part at the heel in both boots, which appears to be overage in the material. Neither of the insoles reaches the toe of the boot. Is this a defect of the style, or just this pair? I'm planning to wear the boots daily, with ordinary socks, to work and everywhere, and this would put holes in my socks...I'm worried my toes would get cold and wet too. I'm sending back, and considering getting another pair of round-toes.

I have long, narrow feet (AA or AAA) with high arches. Thanks to Zappos, I try shoes that I am skeptical will fit. They easily accepted my orthotics, but they are still too wide for me. The ankle is slim, so it was hard to slide in my feet with high arches. The tabs need pretty loose pant legs to fit under. I think they're cool looking, but they just didn't work for me.

I wanted to keep these, but the toe box was just too narrow. The tabs front and back are convenient, but even with them they were dificult to put on.

I bought this shoe after searching for an attractive alternative to the typical steel-toed construction boot (which is required for my job). This shoe fits the bill, but was quite expensive for an 'already been worn' look. Note that the shoe runs small: I went a half-size down from my usual size.

I want to like these so much but they were huge. Not in length, but just very wide. Unisex sizing didn't work for me. I tried going down half a size but then the length was too short. I'm trying another Blundstone style made specifically for women.

These boots were very much too wide even when wearing thick socks. The front top of the boots rubbed against my ankle. There is no way I could wear them comfortably, although I very much wished for them to fit.

These ran really large - at least a full size if not more. Liked their look, though.

They're cute and look great but run quite large

I am a 7.5 or 8 in shoes. I ordered the 8 and they were too big. I returned them. Oddly, I ordered the classic in an 8 which were a different style and they fit perfectly. Maybe it has to do with the toe box being square?

Too small. I wear a size 9 US and a size 6.5 AUS. My previous pair fit great. Not sure what’s happened here. Also, something was rubbing on the inside. These are work boots and I can’t suffer with rubbing or too tight of a fit during the day. I didn’t even try inserting my $1k orthotics. Not sure if going up a half size to a 7 AUS will help, but I’ll try that.

I liked everything about these except they were uncomfortable because not enough arch support for me. When I tried to use inserts, they didn't fit any more.

I love my 510’s and have worn them constantly since I purchased them last year. They go everywhere including muddy walks so I thought I would get a nicer pair of Blundstones for the office. Unfortunately this style is not comfortable for me and does not compare at all to the comfort of the 510’s. They feel a bit narrow and tight and there is some type of seam that feels like it could cause pain. Guess I’ll order another pair from the 500 series and try to keep them looking good.

No idea what people are talking about—this being “the best boot ever” or “most comfortable boot ever.” There’s absolutely no way. While maybe (just maybe) these boots aren’t uncomfortable, they’re barely comfortable. There are rigid seams inside the boot that you can feel, and the sole gives very little. If you want a 2-to-5-hour boot that looks great, this is it. If you want to wear these things for more than 4 or 5 hours, no way in hell. Disappointing really, especially given the other reviews.

So sad these have to go back. Couldn't even try them on...the opening to slide your foot into is beyond tiny.
