I wear a 7-7.5 and bought an 8. Works perfect for me. I felt my regular size was a bit tight across the toe. I think the color is more charcoal than black. Super cute. Highly recommend.

As a US size 7.5 I was slightly anxious about what size to get, but the AUS 4.5 fit really well in this particular style. Super nice boots in a dusty/worn grey finish that goes with everything.

tried to buy the exact shoe that I had purchased two years ago but it was not the same.

It took some practice to get them on and off easily but I found them to be surprisingly light and comfortable. Great looking leather too.

Very comfortable shoes. 8 hours in them, my feet felt great. I hope they do not stain too much.

I absolutely love this boot! I have a pair of brown 550’s that I love, but wanted a more versatile style for my black pair of boots. I considered getting the 550’s again but am so glad I chose the dress boot because it’s both comfortable and beautiful, and can be worn with even more outfits (both dressy and casual). It doesn’t have the same level of traction as the 550’s, but is still better than other Chelsea boots I’ve owned. Please note this style runs a full size larger than the 550 series (I wear an AUS 4 in the 550’s and an AUS 3 in the dress boot).

Not really black but more of a gray nubuck which is why I'm returning.

my 2nd pair. very comfortable and durable, you can wear them doing outdoor work & they clean up well enough for the office of going out, no visible scuffs or scrapes seem to show. if you want a casual boot, there are plenty of options, but these are the best i’ve had, best-priced too.

My husband adores these boots! He was right in between sizes in the 500 series, therefor he thought to give the square toe dress boots a try. They were the ones! These boots give him just the amount of extra toe space he was looking for. I will say he did go a half size smaller than his normal size in Blundstones. He wears them for every day walking and easy hiking trails. He dresses them up and also wears them with sweats. Just an all around great boot.

These boots were awesome right from the get go. I've tried a few other types of blundstone boots - each of which have been a bit too much boot for me. I chose the dress boots because of the cut and they are perfect. I do not consider them dressy but I do think they are more tailored and have a sharper look to them but still feel rugged and ready to get out and get dirty. Sizing was a little tricky. I can range from an 8 to a 9, often falling right in the middle. I tried the thermal boot in a 9 and they were too big. They also looked ridiculous as the boots themselves were just big to begin with and looked like clown shoes on me, so I didn't bother with the smaller size. In the dress chelsea boot I tried both size 5.5 (8.5) and size 5 (8). The 5's (8's) fit perfectly. As others have mentioned the half sizing is about the width, not the length, and the 5.5/8.5 felt too loose for me. The construction of the boot feels solid and I feel strong and confident wearing them. Great addition!

Love my new boots, they will need a little break in period but I’m confident they will become my favorite for the winter. I think this style looks less clunky than some.

I have had this same boot in black leather. I wore them so much the soles blew out. I ordered the same size (I also have the BL550's) in 4. The boot was huge and wide. There was no option to size down to a 3. I have ordered the same distressed black in the 550. Hopefully it fits!!

This the second pair that I purchased for my son because he wore the other ones out after many years. The are very stylish and the leather gives them a muted lived in look.

Was a bit worried about these because they were so expensive, but after three days they were perfect! I was switching between two different pairs of “all day comfort” shoes for work that were still hurting my feet. Ever since I got these, I barely think about my feet! I stand all day at work on stone tile so it really surprised me. Also worked well as I was mopping up a leak that left half an inch of water on the floor! Highly recommend. Need to be broken in. I have pretty big ankles too and they work well. Grayer than black but still work for my uniform.

Best boots ever!

These are worth the money. They are snug but not uncomfortable. I haven’t worn them in rain or snow yet, but if they stand up to those then there is nothing this shoe cannot do! I love the color and that they are so versatile, you can dress them up or down.

They fit a narrower foot beautifully. Stylish. Great black goes with most everything

Very stylish and comfortable. I like that the shoe has a narrow ankle opening since my legs are smaller. I typically wear a 6.5 or 7 in shoes. The 7 definitely ran big but the 6.5 was perfect. I think they run a little big.

I needed boots that have a removable insole so that I can use my orthotics. They work perfectly in this boots and were comfortable when I started wearing them. The construction of these boots including the leather is top quality. They are not a dressy boot, but the style is classic.

I bought these for my husband who always loves the shoes that I buy for him. This is a rare one that I had to send back. The style is excellent but they run about a half size too big. I'll be re-ordering a half size smaller.

This is the second pair of the BL1308 I have purchased. The first pair was for me, in January of 2018. This pair, nearly 2 years later (Dec. '19), was for my husband. He admired mine, but didn't believe they would work for him since we've both had trouble with most Blundstones being too wide. Our feet slid around in them and neither of us can risk any further "rollover" foot injuries. Because I found this style feels narrower than most Blundstones, I finally just went ahead ordered them for him, to prove that these are different. They’re also very lightweight, a big plus. He is so happy with his Christmas boots!

The fit and size are absolutely perfect! Upon putting on the shoe they were a bit stiff but after about 3 different days of wearing them they really loosened up and there was not ankle or heel chafing like I was concerned about the first day. The sole doesn’t have any arch support in my opinion (especially compared to my chacos) but it is so flexible and squishy that it really doesn’t matter to me too much! They look good with LITERALLY ANYTHING dressy to casual. I honestly want another pair in brown but it seems ridiculous! Maybe next year!

This is a great boot! Wear a size 9 and originally ordered a 9, but they just weren't long enough, so had to order a 9.5 which fit perfectly. VERY comfortable shoe and stylish. Cost a little more, but worth it!
