I love, love, love these boots!!! BUT, I don't know if it's because they are technically the women's style or not, but they felt very narrow in the shank. Meaning, getting them on and off required my husband's help!! I have high arches, but they aren't crazy high, and I literally can't get these on and off by myself because they are way too tight in that part of the boot. Once they are on, they feel fabulous. I was tempted to keep them, but I just don't want the hassle every time I need to put them in or take them off. Sending them back and may try the men's version....

I have wanted a pair of Blundstone for a long time, finally took the plunge, only to not be able to even get one onto my foot, I just got my toes in there up to upper foot, not going in.... no amount of pulling would get it on..... people with high arches beware..

these are amazingly comfortable! Best boot for walking around that I've ever had. Walked all day without the soles of my feet feeling pounded. It's definitely worth getting the Blundstone brand.

I’m an 8.5 in shoes/9 in sneakers. I purchased the 5.5 in Blundstone and they fit perfectly. The higher ankle on these boots make them more slender and feminine without being too tight. It does take awhile for the upper boot to loosen up and make getting them on and off easier but this was not a problem. I wore them around the house for short periods of time to be sure they would not give me blisters and they did not while most shoes do at first. Love these boots, very versatile and excellent quality.

My first pair lasted 9 years! Love these boots so much that I'm getting a new pair. I replaced the insoles with some made for high arches, and that sent these from good to great. Super durable and worth every penny. My old pair finally gave out after multiple years of wear - everything from hiking to city wear to farm work, I was not easy on these boots. They look pretty rough at this point, but after 9 years of wear I think that is to be expected.

Great shoes but run large. I’m an 8 and they felt 3/4 size too large.

This was my 3rd purchase of this exact boot. It was sloppy through the top of the foot and not the snug fit as my previous 1448 Bundstones. Returning and ordering direct from Blundstone. Hoping it was just a fluke and not a change in style.... I really love these boots for everything I do, whether working in the yard (yes that's the older pair's purpose now), appointments in town or traveling. All day comfort.

I like the style and quality of these boots. They were a beast to get on the first few times, due to the slimline ankles, but that's what the pull tabs are for. I have a pair of Bundstones I bought in Australia literally decades ago- hope these hold up as well. These are more of a city style than my originals, so they can be worn with jeans & a blazer, as well as leggings and a moto jacket or tunic sweater/sweaterdress.

Super cute, light weight and look well made. They fit my big orthotics well too!

I normally don't buy things full price, but I couldn't find the 1448 color from a store with a good return policy. I had never heard of Blundstones until this past fall when I noticed a couple friends wearing them. They couldn't stop raving about them, so I decided to try a pair from Zappos. It took me a couple attempts to find the right size, but I ended up with a size 7. For reference, I'm a 6.5-7, and have bunions both on the big and small toe sides of my feet. The bunions have made it hard for me to find wide-fitting shoes that are comfortable, but these Blundstones have been a dream! They fit comfortably right out of the box, and after wearing them a couple times to run errands, I took them on an international trip where I walk quite a bit. I walked 8 miles within a hilly city the 2nd day of traveling, and they were more comfortable than any other shoe I own. Like many, I did find putting them on and off was a struggle when breaking them in, but it gets easier! I also have narrower ankles, so I think it's a little easier for me. Overall, I am SO happy about this purchase, and these are worth the investment! Hoping they'll last me for years to come.

I wanted these to fit me - super cute - just think my foot is too narrow.

Love the high-top Blundstones. It took me over two weeks to break these in, and my arches hurt quite a bit around the third week, but now I can't imagine going back to a looser fitting boot. I also got a pair of shearling-lined and wasn't sure if I wanted to keep them because the fit is so different in the regular height boots. These are a great boot to dress up or down; I wear them to work all the time. I have a wider foot and these fit fine in the toebox.

I am a true (US) 9, and I ordered these in a 9. They fit my feet perfectly. I am small boned, slightly narrow feet. I love how these boots gently hug my heels and ankles, yet the toe area allows wiggle-room for my toes which is extremely comfortable. They do require a little bit of effort pulling them on, however not difficult in the least. I imagine that an individual with high arches may need to use more effort than I do. A shoe horn will certainly assist in that area. Once these boots are on, you do not want to take them off - yes, they are that cozy. Very well made; these boots will probably outlive me.

Love the look of these! They don't have the wedge "v" cut on the instep the way other Blundstone's do, so I like this version better. These are also a little taller which keeps my ankles warm and my socks concealed. Love the smooth leather, the detailing around the gusset, the width of the toe box, and the weight of the sole. Great shoe.

Honestly really liked how these fit right out of the box. Was able to get them on with the two pull tabs, and they felt extremely secure on my feet. I just didn’t feel like the higher style just wasn’t quite me. Returning to get the 558.

Trying to save you a return. I am a true 8.5 in Nike, Brooks, Hoka running shoes, in Salomon 8.5 is a smidge big. Uggs a 8.5 is perfect 8 in slippers. W/Blundys the 8.5 (5.5) is too short and the 9.0 (6) fits exactly. Good room in toe box but not too much. Hope that helps.

I was looking for a plain black boot to wear with everything and this fit the bill. Very comfortable and toe box wide enough . Be happy when they dont look so new lol I wear a 7 1/2 running shoe and got these in a 7.

Love!! I have a pair of the waterproof/winter Blundstones and they took quite a long time to break in. I have a high instep and going from a 4-4.5 for a little extra room (size 6.5-7 foot) did it for me. I ordered a 4.5 in these boots from the get-go and my foot slipped right in with enough room for a thicker sock! They’re so comfy and suuuuper cute.

I love these. I have a brown pair in a different style and wore the heck out of them the last two winters. They are SO comfortable. This style is particularly cute. I intended to keep them but the more I thought about it the more I realized I really need a waterproof boot. :( Sadly back they go.

Absolutely love them! Theyr'e a little tough to get on and off because theyr'e high tops but once theyr'e on the fit is perfect, I got a size 8 and I usually wear 7-8 depending on the brand but an 8 fits perfectly. I wear them to work (waitressing) and can wear them all day with no blisters. In the first few days the front of the part that touched the front of my shin/ankle was stiff and thus pushed on me in a kind of uncomfortable way but that stopped after about a week (wearing them pretty much every day). Definitely worth the investment so far!
