Just rec'd them and put them right back out in the mail for return. They run small. I always wear an 8.5 these were tight with thin socks on. They also hit the unflattering part of your calf area of your leg. Just not cute for that price.

Frye has a fantastic reputation for their boots, but Yuck! What were the designers thinking? I ordered the Veronica slouch in stone wash and it wasn't what I expected. They looked really cute online but in person, it's another story. I am pretty thin so that might be part of the problem. The boot was really big on my calves. They kind of looked like rainboots/fire men boots! And the stone wash looked like someone threw them down a quarry and let them sit for 30 years! I'm into vintage style but this was beyond vintage or worn looking. Comfortable boot, true to size but I sent them right back to Zappos.

I was disappointed. The boots I got were much shinier than the photo and the leather is quite thin. I do not love these boots.

I really wanted to like these. But alas, it was not to be. Tight everywhere. I tried the next 2 sizes up and still it was very tight at the top of the foot (area under the strap/buckle). Ended up going with the Clarks Orinocco's instead. Otherwise, the boot is gorgeous & has a certain edgy-ness to it. I'm bummed it didn't work out.

I wanted these boots for so long & when I finally got them I was disappointed in the quality. I have a couple other pairs of Frye boots & the quality & construction is excellent. However, the Veronicas are strange. They are a gorgeous style, but the leather is noticeably different in texture on both boots and the left boot is looser and slouches more than the right. I thought I had just gotten a defective pair, but I tried a second pair and although they were a bit better, they still had the same issues. This is absolutely unacceptable in such an expensive pair of boots. Too bad, because the style is super hot.

I debated about these since I already love my other Frye boots purchased from Zappos, of course! Costing more than I usually pay, as soon as I opened the box I was disappointed. The shaft leather was soft and thin, and the color (blue) was not as deep as I thought it would be. I am thinking about trying the Frye engineer 15 inch though.

Can't get it over my foot!

Disappointed - I have always wanted a pair of Frye boots--unfortunately the calf is usually too slim. These were listed as 15"--more like 14" in size 7. And even though I have a very low instep, they were very difficult to get on and felt too big once I got into them; major heel slippage. I would have kept them if they had not been so expensive. Also, they are not lined-just rough suede on the inside. I will stick with my Ariat cowboy boots--can beat the look, comfort, and price. Love Zappos however--overnight shipping, great customer service, easy returns.

Much too narrow for my foot. As spendy as they are I would have had to really love them and I can say. The boot seemed short and were really uncomfortable.

I am not at all happy with these boots! The pair that was sent to me was used! The leather was scratched on the toes of both boots and the heels of the boots also showed signs of use. I like the boots but they were too snug across the toes and they felt too small. I did call customer service and they were very apologetic and immediately issued me a coupon code for a future purchase. These will obviously be going back.

Frye no longer stands for quality. What a disappointment! One boot is smaller than the other, and it's not my feet because I never have that problem with shoes. Nowhere on the boot does it say the size, or where it was made. The leather is really cheap looking - they look like they might as well be fake. Not what you expect after spending so much money! I have 3 pairs of Fryes and they're great. But what has happened to the quality?! These are uncomfortable and the sole is not great either. The Veronica Slouches used to be nice boots. Very disappointed.

These are not at all like the photo. They are mostly white with very little blue. they look as if I stepped in something. I am very disappointed as I waited a long time for these boots.

These are not real Fyre boots, cheaply made and not 100% leather. I will not order shoes from Zappos again. These boots are not even made in America as the slogan of Frye boots proclaim. They are made in Mexico and not even close to the quality of what they should be. I felt ripped off after opening this package. Needless to say they are being returned.

I was so happy to receive my Frye boots. I own two other pairs. When I opened them and was putting on my left boot, the strap at the ankle completely ripped off from the boot. I was shocked! I gave these five stars because I love the style.

These are gorgeous boots, but sadly, I had to return them. I wear a 6.5 in all shoes, but these felt like a 6. My toes were right up to the tip of the boot, but there was just enough wiggle room in the heel that my heels kept coming up. After a few hours of wear, I had monster blisters on my heels. I know Frye is an amazing brand, and leather boots especially need breaking in, but these were insanely uncomfortable; my arches were aching after about 20 minutes. Life is too short to wear uncomfortable shoes.

I order this boots in size 7 (my normal size is 6 1/2). I can not get my feet into the boots. I really love the material of the boots. I had to sent back the boots.

For Frye boots, these are the worst. They were ugly - could not put your foot in them at all. I could not believe it. Returned them the next day. Zappos is the fastest in shipping I must say and I still like them and 6pm.com.

Good looking boot with terrible fit. Go down half a size. They are supposed to loosen and conform to you feet, but after several weeks of wear, all I have are blisters. The boot is tight across the foot and loose at the heel; the boot is also heavy and difficult to pull on, with no tabs to help pull on. Waste of money.

So disappointed! The chocolate vintage leather is super shiny! I wanted a dull, vintage leather look. These are going back!

Ugh, these boots. I wanted these so bad, but with size 6 feet and 14.5" calves I knew it'd be a problem. The calf width is fine, but I can't even get my foot into the shoe! The ankle part doesn't flex at all, and the top of my foot hits it and will not go past it. I spent 30 minutes stomping my foot down, pulling, yanking the leather, folding the leather down to get a good grip, yanking again and nothing. My foot won't go past the ankle.

Wow, I have been on a boot hunt for a long time. I've tried them all and none of them ever reached my goal as a boot that goes well with all my pants as well as skirts. What I love about these boots is the loose/slouch feel. It's super easy to wear a flared jean and have the boots go right over them and not just be limited to wearing skinny or straight jeans. Tough looking, but will also complement a dress or a skirt. I am excited to wear these for motorcycle riding since they are easy for me to slip on and off. I was using combat boots to ride in and I hated having to lace all 12 holes when riding. I did not have any trouble getting into these. I am petite 5'3 and weigh approximately 115lbs. I have athletic calf muscles, and normally a tall boot is tricky for me to get into, but these were not tight at all. Based on all the reviews it seems these are one of the best boots on the market. You might be freaked out by the price of these boots, but I think the quality and their versatility make them a worthwhile purchase.

Not as expected. I waited a long time for this boot to come back in stock. Only wearing Frye boots for years, I was totally unable to even try it on, the cut way too small/shaft too narrow. Someone in the company is slipping, perhaps the label should say American Made!
