I absolutely love these boots. I had them in my shopping cart for almost 2 weeks before I finally bought them and I am so glad I did. They fit perfectly, are comfy and look amazing! Overall they are worth every penny. Frye creates a real quality boot.

I love these boots! Bought 2 pair of Frye's but these were the ones. Fit perfectly, leather is soft and smells oh so nice. Although I have only worn the boots around the house as of yet, they feel very comfortable right out of the box. Plenty of width in the toes. An additional plus is the sole of the boot (toe/heel area) are non-skid. Other boots are leather on the bottom and are very slick and you won't slip in these. May have to have a pair in brown as well!

I love these boots. The color is fun yet neutral and works with everything. I started wearing Frye boots in college and it's great to see that "great" products do not change.

I love the Frye Veronica Slouch and own 3 pairs...one in Cranberry, Slate and what is referred to as the "Black Calf Shine Vintage". This last one is the only pair in which I've been disappointed, not because of the fit, but because the color on the website is not at all the color of the boot (I've ordered them 2 times just to make sure). On the website they appear to be very worn, but the boots that have been sent to me look very new -- definitely not "vintage".

Great looking boots but felt 1/2 size short. I ordinarily take a 6 but felt a 6 1/2 might have been a better fit. I returned it for a different style Frye boot. As much as I loved the Veronica Slouch, for me, I think it might be too casual for what I'm looking for, especially having the square toe. Thank goodness for Zappos free back/forth mailing policy!

I have this boot in the slate color and I love them. When looking at boots, I hadn't initially considered this style because I thought they might be bulky and make my feet look big. But they don't at all, they look even better than expected. They were comfortable right out of the box, zero breaking in time. No trouble for me getting them on and off. They run true to size. I'm a 9 but often end up with an 8 1/2 because shoes run bigger these days. But I picked the 9 in these and they're a good and comfortable fit with room for thicker socks when it's cold. The sole is nice and sturdy and I hope to get a lot of years out of these.

Very hip boots, but I had the same experience as the last reviewer: my true size was too wide and I slipped too much in the heel to feel good. So I ordered a half size down. Hopefully this will fit perfectly. Otherwise, very hip and sexy boots and leather is soft, supple and gorgeous.

I love, love, love these boots! Perfect fit and no break-in time needed. I wore them for hours right out of the box. Love all my Frye's but I think this is my favorite pair.

I love love love these boots! I have been looking for a year for a casual boot that was not too much like a biker boot. The only down side is the leather scratches easy and have to use the Frye's leather conditioner about every time I wear them.

I love these boots! The quality and craftsmanship is superb. I know these boots will last for many years. When I opened the box the smell of the leather was intoxicating! They are so comfortable even on the first wear. I ordered a 1/2 size up and wear them with a medium wool sock and they're perfect.

I absolutely love these boots! I have been looking for a pair of motorcycle boots for years. I was prepared to pay designer prices, but for one bill or the other could never pull the trigger. Enter in these gorgeous boots! I must say that they are not instantaneously comfortable. But they get there quick. The styling is great. If you have a medium width foot, consider half a size up. Buy yourself an anti blister stick and do not wear cotton socks for the first few wearings. I got the dark brown and they are wearing quite nicely. They fit into my budget and my cool mom sensibility.

I love Frye boots in general, but this color is different. I first saw them in the Sundance catalog but I didn't want to pay $30.00 in shipping. I also order the Shortie Veronica in Black and Brown love them too.

In love. Wanted this boot last year and wouldn't spend the money. Finally gave in. They are beautiful and comfortable and I have No regrets!

Best leather boot ever! Very comfortable; you can feel the quality of the leather and craftsmanship. Worth every penny!

Love 'em, so worth the money, best quality. My only advice: get them a 1/2 size bigger than you usually wear. I ordered them in 8s and had to send them back because I needed 8 and 1/2s, but it was free because it was on Zappos. I love Zappos!

I love these boots! Comfortable right out of the box, and cute but casual. Not a very high heel, which is good for a tall girl like me.

Awesome boot! Never owned boots before and decided to get a pair for this winter. Looking through the Zappos boot collection, I ran across this boot. After I read A LOT of the reviews, I decided to fork out the money and try them, thinking they could be returned if they aren't worth it. These boots are not going back! They are as good as the other reviewers say they are - very comfy, very nice to look at, I love them. Do I wish they were cheaper - sure - but I think in the long run, these boots will be in my closet for years and will pay for themselves.

Love them. They are comfortable from the word GO! They're stylish and yet simple. I've gotten a LOT of compliments on them. My mom has the same pair in black--totally coincidentally--and we both love them.

These boots are awesome! I wanted good quality leather boots that would last me many years, and so far these fit the bill. The only thing is that the sole is already wearing down at the heels so I will probably have to resole them after a year. Wish they were a bit smaller in the calf, but I have skinny calves so that is always an issue for me. I bought them in size 5½ and they fit okay; slightly loose but my true size is 5, so I just wear a thicker sock.

I got these in a 7 in Dark Brown Calf Vintage. I already have the Veronica Shortie in a 7 in Brown and expected these to fit the same and be the same color. They do not and are not. They're a lighter, warmer, less black-brown. It's a very nice rich color. The Veronica Slouch is a very snug fit, especially when I compare it with my other Frye boots. The first time I tried to put them on, I nearly threw them back in the box and slapped a return label on it. They are difficult to get on, but it's a tall boot with no zipper, it's to be expected. I slipped my right foot down into the boot and it just wouldn't go the whole way. I pushed and pushed and - nothing. I unbuckled the lower buckle and tried again - nothing. I pulled my foot out and removed my thin cotton sock and tried again - nothing. I stood up, foot still part-way in the boot and hobbled into the kitchen to make some tea then returned to the couch for one more try. Like magic my foot slipped in - the boot was on! I repeated with the left boot and kept them on for a short while. They came off fairly easily. The next day I tried them with a thin trouser sock: same scenario minus the tea. It was still difficult but they did go on so I wore them around the house most of the day. Two days later I wore them to work with the same thin trouser socks: they went on a little easier this time. While extremely snug, they were very comfy. For a couple weeks I wore them with my Gold Toe cotton socks. After nearly a month, I am able to get a Thorlo walking sock in them. Every time I wear them they are easier to get on. I have to unbuckle them, grab the back of the shaft and pull up hard. That being said, I love these boots. The leather is wonderful, craftsmanship outstanding, and the style is timeless. They're super cute with skirts and jeans. I like them so much I may sell my Shorties.

I'm in love...with my new boots! I got mine in the dark brown and they are just luscious and wonderful and so comfortable. I feel very put together and they look great, yet the comfort after just getting them this afternoon is amazing. I can tell that I'm going to get some great use out of these boots and have them for a long time. They are a very classic style and especially in the dark brown, can be dressed up or down. At some point I'm sure I'll have to come back and get the black ones but I'm going to try to resist as long as possible! I usually wear a size 7.5 and have a high arch. I got these in an 8 and they fit just right. I had to struggle to get the left boot on the first couple of times but the leather really does stretch and I'm glad that I didn't get them any larger or they would have been too big. I really debated between these boots or the Veronica shortie and these ended up being more versatile and less casual looking than the shortie.

I hesitated to buy these boots because I usually wear a size five and the Frye's only come in a 5.5. I decided to take a chance and I couldn't be more thrilled! The boots look great, fit great, and were well worth the splurge! I highly recommend these boots.

I wear a size 8 so I got an 8 at first. I could get my foot in after 10 minutes of struggling so I sent them back and went up a half size, which is good because it lets me wear thicker socks. I had problems with my left heel rubbing for the first 3 wears but I think they are broken in now. They look great with everything! You can really feel the quality with these boots. I also like how versatile they are. You can wear them slouchy or wear them tall and sleek.
