I bought these in October 2017. It’s now August 2018. See the seam coming apart? Happens every time, and I’m on my 5th pair. So why do I keep buying them? Because I haven’t found slippers as comfy or as beautiful. They’re warm and toasty and for about 10 months they’re great. But they all come apart at the seams and grow at least 2-3 sizes in width. If this company made slippers that were guaranteed to last 5 years and cost $250, I might* buy them. (*MIGHT) But as it is, I keep them for a year longer than they’re useful because they are so pricey. All of these companies that make these boiled wool scuffs have the same issues—I’ve tried them all. I don’t wear them outside but I do wear them a lot inside. So why are they so fragile? Zappos should let you rate on how economical the shoes you bought are... But since it doesn’t, I have to give the “overall” score a 2 and the others a 5. C’mon, Haflinger. How about you make slippers like this that actually last?

These slippers looked adorable when they arrived, and they were super comfy for a few months. I was so disappointed when they started falling apart. First of all, the wool stretched out really bad, so my feet were totally sloshing around in them. Then the stitching that keeps the top to the soles came apart! I tried repairing this myself with a large needle and some nylon fishing line (super strong), which held up pretty good in the area I was able to stitch, but pretty soon the rest of the threads were falling apart, and it's too hard without a commercial sewing machine to stitch the things by hand. Besides, I shouldn't have to do that for what I paid for these! They are so cute and I enjoyed them for a short while, but come on, some stronger thread and more substantial wool would make these fabulous.

I have worn Haflinger slippers for over 14 years. The quality and comfort are why I am a loyal fan. The non slip sole is perfect for me as I age into my 7th decade. They keep my feet warm in the winter. These are intended for inside wear only. They sell rubber soled slippers that can be worn outdoors. My last pair lasted six years and when I needed to replace them the task was easy ordering on Zappos site. I had them in three days. Can't ask for more. There are numerous patterns available for these slippers. They all have good arch support.I think quality when I see the name Haflinger.

These slippers are really cute! I normally wear size 37, but had to go down a size for proper fit. My feet are also somewhat narrow. They are comfortable - while they last. I purchased these in Dec. 2018. A hole appeared in Sept 2019 at the top of the big toe area of the right slipper. I don't have hammer toes or huge toenails. My toes don't even hit the front of the shoe. The Haflinger slippers are the only shoes of any kind I've ever seen do this. This is the second pair to do it - my first pair were dark gray with purple flowers, but they just recently developed a hole. I would definitely not recommend purchasing these as a gift or for yourself because they are just not durable at all. Nine months of wear is unacceptable for a shoe at this price point.

I absolutely love everything about them! They feel so good on my feet (seven surgeries over the last 25 years). They provide great arch support and heel support. I am even wearing them outside as shoes!

These are the best slippers I have ever had... I had not bought slippers in years because of the the horrible support and always cheaply made. These are the exception... they have an arch support! It is a moderate arch, but enough to walk around the house. I have high arches and plantar fasciitis. These shoes are just right for slipping on as I get out of bed.

Love the wool! Not too hot. Easy to slip on.

Nice slippers if you don't mind paying $90 for slippers that start wearing through after 4 months. I would expect a bit more sturdiness - it's not as if I am even wearing them all the time.

These were much too large and wide and I have wide feet! Otherwise, very cute design.

I’ve worn Haflinger slippers for many years. Just order full-size smaller. I love them. Conform to your feet for perfect fit

Too big

I wear US size 6 so initially ordered these in that size, and they were too big. Exchanged for a size 5 and they fit perfectly. They are very comfortable. Before ordering I was afraid that the wool might feel itchy but it’s not, is very soft. Overall I am happy with these slippers so far.

As always the comfort and quality of these slippers are exceptional!

Bought these for my granddaughter who recently relocated from the warm coast to the chilly coast. She loves them!

Comfy and warm and I love the design!

I love these slippers. They’re super cute. But more importantly they’re comfortable and warm. I have very wide feet so I was a little concerned about the fact they only came in medium. But they actually stretch very well. There’s reasonably good arch support, for slippers. Definitely something I will buy again.

These house slippers are so cute, cozy and comfortable! Loaded with personality as well as excellent construction. This is my second pair of Haflinger Slippers. My first pair lasted for years!

This us the third pair of the style, Sassy, that I have bought. I hope that says it all.

These are my 4th pair of Haflinger slippers, totally worn out the other pairs over a 35 year span...can't beat them!

Great fit and sizing for my usually hard-to-fit feet. Super cute pattern of a decorated black cat split evenly across both left and right. Bought half size bigger to wear over warm sox. Comfortable slippers with almost an indoor/outdoor sole. Not clunky looking at all and makes for a stable wearing slip-on without the sticky feeling rubber sole that can catch on a carpet. All around good marks from a disabled woman who scuffs with a wide stance and adores all shoes. I would miss my heels, but Zappos offers awesome cute flat soles for every occasion.

Zappos recommended a 38/7, but the 37/6 fit fine. Fun, fun, fun- brings a smile to my face to see the silly Sassy cat.

I usually wear a 7.5 or 8 and these fit well. Very cute and comfortable. I've bought this brand before and find they usually last a few years.
