Because this runs large, I'm not sure how much arch support there actually is.

Though I like the look of this slipper, it was just too loose on my feet and not very flexible. I have been wearing AT classic hard soles for years, so will be returning the Lacey and ordering another pair of the AT’s.

I ordered two sizes and neither accommodated my long toes. They felt crunched. Beautiful shoe, though.

Although these shoes were beautifully made, I found them stiff and somewhat uncomfortable, especially while walking . The fit was good and they’re definitely a higher quality. I just didn’t like the way they fit.

I have had these for one year and have only worn them in the house. They are cute, warm, and comfortable (I struggle with plantar fasciitis). However, for as much as they cost, I was surprised and disappointed when the cork under the toes and heel began to come apart. Years of owning Birkenstock’s, I’ve never seen this happen. Fortunately, I found a cork sealant for shoes and have applied it, which should give them some extra life.

After reading the reviews I sized down as suggested. Even after doing that they were still not quite right. The left foot was way too big even after trying to put an insert in the slipper. The right foot felt true to size. The shoes actually felt a bit heavy to me. They are cute but I returned them because the fit and comfort weren’t quite right for me.

I got myself a pair of the Haflinger symphony a few years ago, and I only use them indoors. I wanted a pair that I could easily slip on and off to wear outdoors. These shoes are very cute. However, the sizing is terrible. My symphony pair are size 37, so I purchased said size in the lacy shoes. When I tried them on there was almost a one inch gap between my heel and the heel of the shoe, so I returned them and got myself a size 36. Sigh. Unfortunately, although my heel was closer to the heel of the shoe, the toe box was now smushing my toes. I'll have to keep looking.

These are beyond oversized. With thick, padded wool socks, my feet swim in the size 5. It looks like I'm playing dress-ups in mommy's shoes. Haflinger doesn't make something smaller than their version of a 5, and they don't make children's sizes. My other Haflinger's were not this humongous. Big, yes, but fine as slippers with thick socks. But they are years old. I will say that if they had fit me, the arch support would be excellent. When I adjust my feet back to the place where the shoes should actually fit me, you can feel how wonderfully they support the arch in a very comfortable way. They are wide, but Haflinger is wide by nature. This is not an issue, especially if they are meant to be worn as slippers and thick socks.

Far too wide for my foot to wear comfortably, though length seemed fine. My foot just shifted and wobbled around with every step. I really wanted these :( I have a fairly average width foot, even a bit wide if anything.

Not a good fit for me; my 3rd-5th toes tended to bump up against the end of the shoe. I have other Haflinger shoes that do not present this problem. Also, very chunky looking on my foot. Had to return.

I usually wear an 8 or 8.5. I tried the 39 first and I was swimming in it. So I went down to a 38. It was still too long but even more it is so loose across the instep that I can't keep it on. I guess if you have a high volume foot these will work they are but not for me. Too bad because I like the looks.

These slippers are beautiful, and I really wanted to be able to wear them. The arch is quite high and firm - I, of course would not describe it as excellent, but that is the rating for most support. For my flat and pronated feet, it just felt like someone put a rock under my arch I discovered though that even the cork soled Haflingers do not all have the same last, so I found a pair that fit well.

I wanted to love these but they are a full size larger than expected, and they honestly felt hard and uncomfortable :(

I think these shoes would be very comfortable but, they don't fit. I have not had good luck with shoes with European sizing. They are very wide and longer than the size would indicate.

I do not find these shoes comfortable at all. The sole is hard and did not fit my feet well (I wear an 8½; the 39 was too small and the 40 would be too big). Please also know that the Bordo color is in reality more purple, less burgundy, than it appears in the photo. I am sending them back.

I really wanted to like these but the shoe was too wide, toes were right up against the front of the shoe, and arch support was ok. Without socks the uppers were scratchy. I exchanged for a pair of Birkenstock (Buckley style) that will be used in the house slippers.

Poorly made compared to the pair I purchased 3 years ago. The foot bed had a jagged edge and glue I could feel. My previous pair was made in Poland and this pair in the Ukraine. Unfortunately, there is not consistency between the two locations as far as product quality. For the price, I expected more and ended up returning.

The ones I received were the size I ordered but fit like the next size up. Back they went.

This is a beautifully made slipper and I very much wanted to live in them so did not mind paying top dollar. The foot bed was a perfect fit and the overall structure was sturdy - could easily pass for a street shoe. The cutout detail was an added plus as was the chili red color. Unfortunately, my foot did not feel secure with such a wide opening. I wish there was a way to make it just a bit more snug and considered adding some padding but instead will return it and hope for better luck next time.

I liked the looks of them. I ordered a size smaller but were still too big. I have a very narrow foot. I returned them.

Not for narrow feet. Great style, wonderful arch support and very comfy but way too wide for narrow feet. Very sad about that and had to return them.
