As a size 8 1/2, I've always bought 39 in European sizing. In spite of some comments on this model, I kept to the size 39 and found it fine. I think each pair of shoes, even within the same brand, has a slightly different feel but overall, each pair is true to its size. I like the Chili color more than I thought I would. It's not screamingly bright but gives a little boost of color. All in all, a good purchase.

Arch support seems a little less than the grizzlies , but they are not broken in yet. Same fit as grizzly . The top seems to ride a little higher on the foot, I'm a little concerned about the seam rubbing the top of foot.Heel cup seems a tad deeper.

Great comfy slippers. I wear a sz 6-61/2 shoe. I Ordered a sz 37. They were too large. Exchanged for a sz 36. perfect.

I like these, but unfortunately, I have wall to wall carpet. Upon walking around on the carpet a few times, I nearly killed myself because the bottom of the slippers were so textured and caught on the carpet to trip me!

Trying slippers with Arch support for the first time and I'm happy with these clogs. As with most shoes with cork footbeds, these were pretty uncomfortable for a day or so until they molded to my feet but now they are comfy and supportive and will save my feet from the pain of walking on hard wood floors all day.

Way too wide for a wearer of Birks 39 narrow. But great looking and feeling otherwise! Wishing for Haflinger to offer narrow.

This was my third pair of these shoes, over the past several years. The sizing of this pair was to short and too wide, as compared to my last two pair. Big disappointment.

Too loose around the toes end of the foot. Felt unsteady on my feet. Wish they had worked. I thought they had lining, like slippers. That would have helped. I love the boiled wool. That’s why I bought them. They were listed as slippers, but really weren’t.

The footplate was too hard. My feet were sore trying to accommodate to the shape of the insole. I wore for 2 hours x 2, but no go. I liked the styling a lot.

Super bummed about these slippers. I have a pair of Haflinger wool slippers I purchased from a local clog shop about three years ago. I wear them so often it was time for an upgrade. I thought these felt a little wide but I could have probably deal with that. The real issue was the construction. There is a piece of wool felt that over overlaps between the heel and the rest of the footbed. On my old pair, the same wool piece is smoothed down and I don't even notice it's there. On these, it is a large hump with a jagged cut so you feel it across the foot (both slippers are the same but it's definitely worse on one side than the other. It's really bad construction so now I'm hesitant to try another pair.

These are expensive, as Haflinger slippers go, especially because I invest in having the heel cups reinforced on the inside with stitched leather. (Hey, Haflinger: in this price point, you could make 'em with the heel cups already reinforced). I've had 4 pair of Haflinger slippers--these look and feel wider in the toes, kind of like Birkenstocks. Should be good to wear all sock weights with these. I normally wear size 7.5-8 (usually size 37 European), and bought size 38, which are fitting fine. I wear custom orthodics in all my shoes/slippers, so I can't speak to the support, as I add it in, but these slippers easily accommodate both my orthodic and my socks without raising my foot too high in the shoe for comfort.

Love these red shoes. Great arch support. The red is nice and bright.

Fit is perfect and the arch support is excellent. Very comfortable. I ordered my usual size and they fit great. Love the vivid red color.

I ordered one size larger than usual, since I normally wear these with socks. The fit is now comfortable. With the smaller size I always felt like I was stepping on the back of the shoe, even though I wasn't.

Fit to size, feet feel well supported which is why I buy this brand again and again.

Warm slippers with great arch support

These ran a bit large for me, so I sized a half-size down and the fit was perfect. I was spending too much time walking barefoot on hardwood floors, and wearing these has helped my legs, back and hips feel so much better. 't

These fit me perfectly. I love the firm footbed and strong arch

These are the best shoes. They can be worn out and about or as bedroom shoes. Three of my four family members have these and we wear them as our inside the house shoes so we have great support. My son (the fourth family member) tried on his dad’s shoes this Christmas and I think he will order some soon. If you need support, such as arch and use orthotics or shoes that have nice support, these are for you. They are expensive but hold up well year after year. The support continues and does not flatten out. Thanks Zappos!!

I read the reviews because I was leery of spending so much on house shoes. I’m so glad I took the plunge and ordered them! The reviews were right and my feet and legs feel so good! I have a feeling this is my first of many Haflingers!

I wear a 9 1/2 narrow and ordered the 10 medium. They are a bit roomy but with socks on they are very comfortable. I had no break in time and am very satisfied with the quality. These clogs are just the thing to wear on my tile floors, no more sore feet.

Too large. Return for smaller size.
