Although it looks nice and comfortable when I am not walking, it hurts on the top of my foot when I walk.

Is there such a thing as too much arch support? I have very high arches, but there is a little "cushion" in the shoe bottom that actually hurt my arch. Other than that, they were very comfy! Color: it was a little lighter brown than the picture. I had to return them because of the arch issue.

The shoes are comfortable, but the heal area seems to be a bit shorter. When I walked, my heel kept slipping out of them.

I liked but when I walked my heel came out of the back of the shoe. It was comfortable but they didn't stay on my feet. I had the correct size, the back doesn't seem to be high enough.

I loved the way these looked but they were tough to put on and really hurt the top of my foot. Keen, Chaco and Birks are great for me and in those I wear 8 wide or medium width, or 38 euro size. Everything about these was good except the fit across my instep. Great quality, nice heel height & great arch support.

I am returning this shoe because the heel slipped too much for me. I've ended with a similar clog by boc that slips less and some other features make it worth it to put up with the slippage. Overall, this is an attractive and sturdy shoe. The arch support is fantastic, and in the right place for my foot. However, the sole feels very hard and clatters on a hard floor, which makes me concerned about stability. The leather looks cheap and thin up close, but once they're on I didn't mind that as much.

Have purchased this shoe many times in the past. For the first time, my tried and true size 9 Borns did not fit. Wish they hadn't changed cut/sizing.

I was looking forward to these after reading the reviews but the brown is not very pretty and overall the show feels a little cheap. Fit was true and it was comfortable enough. More utilitarian than I would prefer.

This is a classy looking shoe. However, it does run large as I ordered a 91/2 and it was a little big as my heel area was not fitted too well. I did put inserts in the heel which helped. The shoe is comfortable with good support. Mary

Unfortunately, I was not happy with this pair of shoes, though I had a pair of Born shoes I liked in the past. These shoes were very narrow, and I have never needed to buy a wide size. Also, the soles were so slippery that I slid all around the house while trying them on. I will be returning them and continuing to shop for a pair of everyday clogs. The good thing about these shoes was that the foot bed was very comfortable, much more so than the Dansko clogs I wear to work at the hospital as a nurse. They also look nice when on. Those things were not enough to make me keep them, however.

Very comfortable and good looking for that casual clog look. However, I found that the soles split completely through, cross-wise at the ball of the foot. This doesn't effect the comfort or utility, but is surprising considering the thickness and material of the sole and disappointing for a brand I thought was pretty high-quality. They also definitely get quite scuffed and dull-looking after a while, although this might be remedied with some shoe polish. I also I do like the look and feel of these, but will probably try a different brand for (hopefully) better durability next time.

Did not like the fit or the style or quality

Shoe appearance and construction was lovely. Based on reviews, I even ordered up a half size. However, the shoes were too tight in pretty much all directions for my lady hobbit feet (I have a wide toebox, though a somewhat narrower heel). It's too bad, because this looks like the sort of style that usually works for me.

I like how the shoe looks, but it just didn't fit well. It slipped off my heel even with thick socks. I ordered the Merrell Emma at the same time and it fits much more tightly.

Sizing is inconsistent (mostly running larger). Poor overall quality (materials, stitching, design, seams, construction, inner padding and design) compared with previous purchases from Born. Will likely return both sizes and styles that I purchased. None measures up to my old Born clogs. :(

Not the same color as in the picture and it is a dull leather, quite distressed. Stiff and uncomfortable. Will return. Go with the Toby Duo if you want a similar shoe.

Born TobyII is my shoe. Been wearing it for YEARS and buying it from Zappos. I keep a few boxes on the shelf and go through them over time. When I reach the last one, I simply click over to Zappos (hope they are still in production) and get three more pairs. This last batch is NOT the same shoe. The leather is not pebbly, it's smooth. The stitching is not bold. The last is different, so it feels different. It looks different. It is different. I'm returning this order. I'll wear the last pairs I have longer, and save the final pair for when I don't want my shoes to look ratty. And, unless I can find a source for the original Born Toby II somewhere, I'll have to figure out another staple shoe. I guess all good things must come to an end, but gee. This is really a shame.

Ordered the Black and Brown. The brown is the worst quality shoe I have ever purchased. I love Born shoes and I'm just shocked. I'm wondering if it's a defect, bad batch or some rare quality problem. The stitching on the inside is so sloppy, the leather is not cut evenly and so it jets out and stabs you. The stitching on the top was not smooth and had a big loop in the middle of the shoe (like a stitch was skipped). The worst is that the left shoe (on two pairs) has a big gap between the back heel leather and the front overlap clog leather so the shoe is deformed. Major disparity between the left and right shoe. -The black pair is perfect! I've never seen anything so crazy and I buy a lot of shoes! Thank goodness Zappos customer service is great. Like other reviewers, this used to be my favorite work shoe, I've owned several pairs and I could not believe how poor the quality was for the brown color.

Way too narrow! I read the previous review about this shoe being narrow but I ignored them since my foot tends to run a bit narrow. But to my great disappointment, this shoe is so tight across the middle of my foot it was painful to put on! I am a long time Born shoe wearer. This shoe was a great disappointment. Not sure why it has such a narrow middle with no room for any type of instep.
