Love these shoes. This is my third pair! I have always ordered a 9, but this time the width was good but the shoe slipped on my heels. Sent them back and got an 8 1/2. Little snug across the top but loosening as I wear them. Great support!

True to size. The shoes look and feel great. I love the fact that they are very "cushy". The insoles are very soft and have nice cushioning which is great for troublesome feet like mine. I highly recommend. And the price is right.

These are so comfortable and perfect to walk in all day. The style is sadly very old fashioned looking.

These shoes fit the length and width of my foot perfectly and they're comfortable on my lower instep/arch but are so tight on the top of my instep that I have no room for socks, even thin dress socks. I'm wearing them without socks (don't tell my Mom!) and hoping to stretch them a bit that way. If that doesn't work, there's a cobbler in my area that can probably/hopefully stretch that part of the shoe. I love the look of them and they are otherwise very comfortable.

They need breaking in before they will be comfortable. Haven't gotten there yet.

Nice quality leather, looks great. Snug on first wearing but I think they'll stretch out enough to be super comfy. Nice little bit of a heel but very stable feeling.

Good shoes, but if you are looking for comfort it is not gonna be the best choice.

I love these shoes. The pair I just bought was to replace the pair just like them that I had had for years, and had to throw away because they wore out. I was thrilled that Zappos had them still.

Would have loved more arch support since I over pronate. Ordered narrow 7 so it would fit and hold my foot better. However I’d recommend ordering a larger size to accommodate an orthotic if needed.

This is my 3rd pair. I’m a 10 or 10.5. The 11 was too large. Love the ble distressed color.

I wear a 10 in most shoes, but it's too short for me in this style. I hope the 11 isn't way too big when it comes, because otherwise I love these.

felt true to size, but slipped slightly in heels while walking

Was looking for a shoe like this; ordered the 10 and an 11 to see which fit better. This was maybe a tad short but the throat opening was so tight I could hardly jam my foot into it with a shoe horn, and I have flat arches.

This shoe is narrow.

Too tight on the top of my foot - not sure they would stretch enough to be comfortable so back they go.

I have plantar fasciitis and have difficulty finding shoes that I can wear for hours standing at work. These were comfortable from the time I first put them on until the end of my 10 hour shift! I would definitely purchase them again. Love the rich brown color!

I had to start wearing clogs walking around the hospital instead of dress shoes due to plantar fasciitis issues. After I bought these shoes, I didn't have problems with my feet cramping and stiffening up anymore (which was great!). However, I'm always rolling my ankles with the high heel of these - which is really the only reason I don't like them (other than the fact that these shoes just aren't cute - they're practical). I have the brown and black pair, and it may have just been the pair I received but the black is a much stiffer leather material than the brown. I still bought the same size in both colors (9), but the black took a few wears before they were a little less stiff.

My only complaint is that my jeans get caught up in the back of the clog. That is not a good look! They are very comfortable.

I had just returned a pair of rather expensive Abeo Flora clogs to another company because after only a few weeks the leather began to crack and peel, and I was looking for something similar. I stand most of the day at work, and comfort, including good arch support, are very important to me. The Born Toby II is not quite as comfortable as the Abeo, which has outstanding support, but it is overall a better shoe, both in quality of leather and style, and it is almost half the price of the Abeo. I first bought it in brown and liked it so much (out-of-the-box comfort) that I bought it in black, too, though I prefer the smoother leather of the brown. However, the black Toby II felt like it was a half-size short. I returned it and had an online chat with Kevin, who checked Zappos sizing information and found nothing about the black shoe not being true to size. He suggested I try re-ordering it in the same size and he was right, because my new black Toby II fits well. It is slightly more snug in the width than the brown, but quite comfortable. Overall I am very happy with the shoes and with Zappos.

I tried to repeat perfect - the clog I bought, same company, a number of years ago. The material is not as good but the rest matches the original pair. First I ordered a 10 and it was really too big, so I sent back for a 9.5 - I am keeping those but still a little big and am helping this out with an insert. The leather is not as heavy as my original, nor is the coating as rich. I will be happy if I get three years from these. They are comfortable. I only wear sneakers for sports. Clogs are my go to shoe.

Way too small

this is a nice shoe - made well and comfortable with lots of toe room. however, I ordered the Toby Duo at the same time and like it better because its lighter, has a more rubbery heel that I think will grip better and has a glossier finish. this Toby II is more casual. also the pair I received had a defect in the leather over the instep. fyi, I wear a 9.5 to 10 and the 10 was a good fit.

Not as comfortable as I would like. After a long day, they can feel a bit tight across the top of my foot. The shoe is very stiff in that area.

As the reviews mentioned, these are rather narrow. I can typically wear shoes of normal width, even when narrow. However, the seam where the two top pieces of the shoe come together pushes in on my foot in such a way that I don't think they'd be comfortable to wear for any length of time. The rest of the narrowness seems like it would be fine after they are broken in, but this one area is just too snug to be comfortable enough to be worth trying. I don't recall the arch support, so I suspect that is because it was non-existent. (I require quite a lot of arch support and these didn't have enough nor was there room to wear an insole.)
