These boots are beautiful! I so wanted them to work. I have a narrow foot so hoped this would work. I also normally wear size 11. In this case, the size 11 was too short and my toes felt the edge of the toe box. I wish they offered a half size up.

Normally a women's 10, ordered the 41. The toe box was too narrow while my heels slipped when I took steps. Strange fit. Super cute style and they seem well made, so was disappointed these didn't work out.

I have had a bad big toe for over a decade. Finding a stylish, comfortable shoe is nearly impossible, but these Taos Crave boots truly fit the bill. I’ve had so many compliments when I wore them, and so so comfortable. I wore down my original pair after 4 winters and struggled to find a replacement pair, so when I did, I invested in two. I’m praying that they keep producing this boot!

Super cute, but runs small. They don't carry a 43, so I couldn't size up.

I'm looking for a pair of year round boots. These are not listed as faux fur lined, but they are. Thought the leather seemed a smidge cheap for the price.

Boots are very comfortable. I do have to wear thick socks due to fit. The fit is loose on my feet. Other than that they look and feel great. Soft leather with nice detail and made well.

I loved everything about these boots, but it was the color that was a deal breaker. For some reason the toe box is a completely different color than the rest of the boot. I would have ordered another color but they didn't have one in my size. ;(

The fit is tighter than I'd hoped, but they're leather so hopefully they'll stretch. They are beautiful, probably the best boots I've worn/seen in this style. The color is very pretty, the leather is soft and that's why I think I'll be able to wear them in fairly easily. To compare them to Doc Martens, the leather for the DM is hard as tile and literally unwearable.

8.5 wide is my typical size - I ordered the 39W and they fit nicely. I just can't understand the stacked look heel. For $250 I expect a more substantial heel - is it the part of the shoe that works the hardest. I just don't understand. So - I do love the boot, the fit, the style - but the heel is a hard no.

Cute, but very small. A 40 in every other brand, and even the Taos sneakers I have, is somewhere between just right and a little big for me. These were far too small and very narrow. I also walk a lot, and the sole doesn't seem comfy. Back they go.

I got my usual size 6 and it is a good fit with heavy socks for comfort. I love the casual style of the worn looking weather. There's a bit of a heel, but not too high. I wear them hiking and disc golfing in the woods.

I can’t praise these boots enough. I’m a size 8.5, but I know from experience that Taos runs a little short in the toes, so I chose size 40 wide. I happened to be wearing my thickest wool socks when the boots arrived, and they zipped up over them with no problem. I was a little leery of the heel height (a bit high for me) but it’s offset by the boot’s platform. I own the black pair and the red pair, and alternate wearing them from day to day, for maximum leather health. They are PERFECT for us bunioned, hammertoed ankle-rollers! Plus, compliments galore.

Shoes were scuffed and had worn spots as if they had been worn. I returned them.

The boot is attractive but very narrow. Taos wide typically fits me perfectly, and I'm sometimes fine with other brands' medium width, but these were too tight in the toebox and on the sides of my feet. The leather and the shoe itself are also quite stiff--I can't see walking in these at all. I wanted to love them, but back they go.

These boots are wonderful. I have several pairs now. I love the style and feel of them. Perfect.

Toe box was too restricted, even with regular socks. Material was very rigid. I think these boots had been returned once, because the laces and packing material was rearranged. I was thrilled to get these, because they were all out of stock, but disappointed.

I ordered the red and the black boots because I wanted to see them in person before I decided on which color to choose. I liked them both but liked the black pair slightly better and was planning on keeping them. However, the black did not fit the same as the red ones in the same size! The red ones were more comfortable. The black bent across the leather at an angle across my foot in a way that pressed on my metatarsals uncomfortably when I walked. I might have ordered another black pair to see if they fit more like the red but I didn't have time. I needed to break them in before my trip. There was some delay with my order originally so they took a while to receive so time was short. So, it was red for the win! Wore them around the house with thick socks, slathered waterproofing cream over them, and they broke in easily. They almost didn't need breaking in but I didn't want to take any chances. Wore them all over Paris and London without a single blister. They were worn with wool socks and were perfectly warm.

I see I have owned this pair of boots for 7+years now, so I think I owe them a review. I have the camel color and have worn them consistently during the fall and winter months and they still look and feel great. Stylish, good support, not too heavy. I would own these in every color if I could afford all of them!! They are expensive, but I continue to get my money's worth from these beauties.

I would have loved to keep them, but I was sent brown boots in a box that said black. I need the black boots. Very disappointing!

the material is very soft, but it did not look right on my feet. It bunched on the inside of my feet. Have to return them.

I ordered a wide, as I'd heard Taos runs narrow. They fit perfectly and are super-comfortable right out of the box. The red color is gorgeous and I got tons of compliments on them the first day I wore them.
