My Beloved Taos Crave has changed up their sizing a bit! This is my 4th pair of Taos Crave and the other 3 are in a size 42. I exchanged the original 42 pair for a 41 and they are perfect! I wear a 41 in Mephisto and Dansko and felt like Taos ran small before this sizing adjustment. This is my daily winter footwear, so comfortable and beautiful!

They feel like I’ve already broke them in, I wear size 9 (40) they fit perfect. I got them in red and will pick up another color they are that great. I would highly recommend.

Awesome looking boot, good fit, wore 38 instead of my normal 39. Leather a bit stiff, going to use some mink oil to soften. Love them.

I adore these boots. They are so comfortable with lovely craftmanship. The "Rugged colored olive" all suede boots fit me perfectly. But the leather boots with suede above the were too small. I tried 2 pairs - teal and camel. They were noticeably shorter when compared to the all suede boots. I held the boots sole to sole with heels aligned, to the rugged olive and both camel and teal boots were about 1/2 inch shorter and tad narrower. I still only have the one pair - the rugged Olive - and am still trying to get another pair that fits like these! These boots are wonderful and I strongly recommend getting a pair. - Just order one size up on leather compared to the all suede which fit as sized.

Super comfy

well constructed, very comfortable and true to size. My feet are a bit wide. I ordered my usual size and the toe box is comfy. I am going to enjoy these this winter!

I am in love with these boots! Wore them for an entire day, right out of the box, and no pain or issues at all!! I purchased the red pair and they are absolutely striking! Seriously debating getting another pair in different color!! For for, I wear an 8.5 normally and I purchased the 8-8.5. They fit snug but I know they will stretch as I wear them. If you’re on the fence—don’t be!!

Love these boots, but sadly the didn’t work out. They run very small. I wear a 42 in pikolinos, but ordered a 43 in the toas, and they were still too small. They’re still an excellent boot if you can fit them though, and I’d definitely recommend to anyone with smaller feet.

Size is true. It takes just the right socks, then they feel great!!!

I love . Taos Footwear. I so wish they would come out with more WIDE versions. I got the pewter and loved them. They are more a grey than a metallic silver Very comfortable. Keep the colors and styles coming .

I love these boots. the reviews said the same and they are true. Very comfortable and true to size.

I own two pairs of these boots. One in ink and another in Ruby. They are the most comfortable of my boots and I live in snow country. Easy to put on. I want to like other boots, but keep coming back to these. I have very fussy feet, 3 foot surgeries. LOVE them!

I was looking for a practical & fab boot to replace my 20-year old Docs but without the 5-year break in period. I normally wear US women's size 7 in running shoes and boots and 6-6.5 in sandals & dress shoes. The EU 38 fits well for me with boot socks once I snugged the laces. Comfortable right away, conveniently zippered, and unobtrusively cool.

I love these boots, and get lots of compliments on them. My goal is to eventually have them in every color, but that's a lot of birthdays and Christmases! My feet are comfortable all day, and not achey at the end of the day.

Great boot, comfortable right away. Was looking for something stylish yet durable that I can wear through the winter and this is it! Very cute on (which can be hard to say with a size 9.5-10 shoe!)! Haven't tested in Fall/Winter weather but love the way they look and feel.

Perfect boots! Comfy right out of the box. The color is a lovely red cordovan and the heel height is just right for walking all day. There is just the right amount of arch support.

These are one of many pairs of these same boots. I wear them all the time. My first pair I came across ? maybe 6 years ago in a store marked down on a Dec 31st shopping trip. It was a routine trip every year until Covid. Anyway, my husband said buy them they are on sale and I said where am I going to wear teal combat looking boots. I now have teal, black, brown, purple, dark cherry (this year's present), brunette and this pair. I seriously wear these all the time. I have a lot of pain in one foot and when I wear these boots, no pain. I can walk all day. I always hesitate due to the price but I know I will not be disappointed. I wear a 36 in birkenstocks but in these I wear a 37. I love them. I am not a shopper and I can't believe I have this many pairs of the same exact boots but I do AND I work in an office where they now have gone more casual so I wear them a lot on Fridays. I still wear high heels but I just love these boots.

Very tight

It is pretty hot here today but my boots arrived and i couldn't wait to try them on. Firstly, they are GORGEOUS! I really wanted the camel color, but there were only 3 choices in my size. Black/Teal/Grey. I have numerous black, I wanted to be able to wear them with everything, I decided on the Grey (I feel the blue are in my future). If you really want grey, don't get these. They are IMO Chocolate! The deepest, most glorious chocolate you can imagine! I am SO happy with them. They felt luxurious as I removed them from the box and tried them on! I can't wait to wear them out! I am always between 7.5 and 8, I nearly always go with sz 8 and they are prefect. I can wear a sock bootie, or boot socks either will be perfect. I believe this is my first pair of Taos, but it will not be my last! LOVE LOVE LOVE them! Did I mention that I LOVE them?

These are ridiculously cute. If you don’t plan on walking long distances these are adorable and necessary boots. If you’re looking for good city walking boots, I don’t recommend them. If you’re building a costume/photography wardrobe these would be a fantastic addition!!

Got those boots for my wife for her birthday, she's almost sleeping with them. She loves the way they feel and the way they look. The funny "beware" review is exactly how she feels about them.

In deed a pricey boot but well made and sturdy! Should last forever wearing every now and then. Just the right amount of combat style without being too “militant”. Nice heel but not too high. Fits my narrow foot well, not too bulky. Love the blue ink color. It’s like an “off black”. These look good with jeans, leggings, dresses. Should be a staple for years to come. I normally wear a 6.5-7 and Zappos suggested the 38. I was afraid it may be too big but it’s fine. A little wiggle room in the toes but fine. Doesn’t slip on the heel.

First, the color was grey that I ordered. These are not gray whatsoever. The color is a burnished brownish color. That's my only complaint. Love the military style, round toes, great stitching, comfortable and they're just plain fricken cool. I also love the heel. Not stacked just right. I love these

Just LOVE these boots! Would totally recommend them as being the most comfortable and stylish boot I have ever owned! So worth the money. No breaking in necessary - fit like a glove from the first wear. And the support to my feet is tangible. I might just have to buy another color!!! thanks Taos for a great boot!

I am so pleased with this purchase! These boots look like a million bucks; the quality is evident. The first time I wore them, I wore them all day. They were comfortable as well as so very cute. I expect these to last a long time.
