Initial impressions here. Would like to return at some point for long-term feedback for you folks. Seeking a zip-up, wide-width winter boot, this was my final choice. The heel is very loose - no ankle support. Kind-of feels like wearing slippers. This is the price of the convenience of zip-up boots. Width designaitons of "3E" and "5E" are inaccurate compared to my Bates Tactical Sport at width 2E, which fits perfectly. Initially ordered 3E, which was narrow, so I exchanged for a 5E, which is almost good enough, only very slightly too narrow. I hope they break in to full comfort. If you have wide feet, get the "5E". The insole is thin an cheap, highly recommend adding your own. There is a nice tread, but the sole is rather hard, so it's not as grippy as you would hope. Size is normal, ordered my usual size. Repels the melting water well. I wish this was available in full black.

I ordered the boots because I was tired of wet and cold feet during rain storms. The style is much nicer than most I looked at. I love the front zipper. It makes putting on the boots super easy. The quality and craftsmanship is excellent. I have worn them often. My feet are warm, dry, and comfortable, even for longer walks. The price was very reasonable compared to other boots I looked at.

I have moderately wide feet, and wanted a boot for walking the dogs in snowy/slushy conditions that would not feel tight. Because they're not available in half sizes, I went with a 10 instead of my normal 9.5. Consequently they are a bit big and fit best with a nice thick sock. They are not too warm, and with regular socks work very well in the 25-40 degree zone; much cooler than that and you definitely need the additional warmth of a good pair of socks. They look good, and the consensus is that they're better looking than the LL Bean boots they replaced. Their best feature is the zip - I've never owned a pair of winter boots with a zip before, and this makes changing in and out of them a breeze.

This boot runs extremely narrow, I ordered the 3EEE and was still too narrow. It's not a true EEE size.

The recent snowstorm convinced my husband that he needed to get some sturdy, Well insulated boots that he could wear outside to shovel snow, clear fallen branches and make a snowman. But, there weren't any to be had in our local stores that fit the bill. I convinced him to look on Zappos, where I get my shoes. He's never ordered shoes online, afraid they wouldn't fit and it would be a hassle to return them. Not with Zappos! He got these boots. Great fit! Good support! And they were comfortable for him right away. Which was great, because there was snow to shovel and tree branches to clear out of the driveway. His feet were dry and warm and not tired after working for several hours. He loves his boots and even though the snow is gone, it's still cold outside and there's still work to be done in the yard. His boots will still come in handy. And, when he's done, just clean them off and they're good looking enough he can wear them to take me out for lunch!

Bought these for my dad and he liked them a lot. he needed something easy to slip on and off and no laces because he's older. These fit the bill. He has a very wide foot so we need to get him a 5E. This isn't as bulky as some of the others in this category which is nice for someone who isn't as steady on their feet and still had warm and stability needed for cold, icy Midwest winters. These feel well made and diabetic friendly. I have bought him other shoes by and have not been disappointed for the type of issues he has with his feet and walking. They are not as style conscious as some of the other brands but that doesn't seem to be their primary focus as a company.

Nice boot but the soles separated from the boot. Very disappointed about the quality of workmanship

This is a great all-purpose winter boot with easy on/off access with the front zip. Highly recommend.

Brought these for my husband. He loves them. They fit true to size and we’re just what he wanted.

I purchase these in a size 11(3E) for my son. He normally wears a 10.5 wide shoe. He was so happy with these boots. We wanted them a little big to wear his thicker ski socks. They are simple to get on and will hopefully have room to grow . He went tubing and walked around for a few hours and was very comfortable.

Simple design boot for easy on/off use. I bought larger size just so could slip feet into boot without using hands for short-duration trips out to woodpile, etc. Easy zip-up if snow is few inches deep.

I decided to try a men's boot, as I wear 11 W women's but boots always are too tight. I ordered this boot in 10 M and it's perfect. Plenty of room for heavy socks, but comfy without if I'm making a quick trip outside. Zipper is easy to use. Height just what I wanted, not too high and not too low. It's 70 degrees at the moment but I don't want to take them off. Thank you Propet, thank you Zappos!

I have big feet with bunions. These fit just fine!

These are super comfortable to walk around in and my feet stay warm and dry.

These really hit the mark for me. It's a great chunky boot, easy on and off. I have a very wide midfoot. Often wide shoes will have an ample toe box, but the midfoot will still be too narrow for me. These are great. Nice a wide, toe to heel. I will say that the volume of the shoe is more than I expected, as opposed to just having a wide footbed. So, they fit more like a clog fits. Not super snug, but loose. It gives lots of room to spread your toes land your foot more naturally. It also gives lots of rooms for a few layers of socks and liners for extra warmth. I like this extra volume, but other may not. But, if you're shopping for a boot that doesn't lace with not inner stretch lining, you should expect a certain looseness. To make up for the extra volume, I have ordered some tongue pads that I intend to stick on the inside on both sides of the zipper.

They definitely run narrow so take that into account when you order. Arch support is barely adequate so I added my own. Overall they are very well made, are quite warm and have an excellent tread. Definitely worth the price.

This shoe was comfortable right out of the box. I ordered my size and it was right on.

Very satisfied with these boots! So glad that Propet makes the extra wide size. The boots were very comfortable from the first minute I put them on. Great quality and value. Had a problem with size with the first pair I received. Contacted customer service and received outstanding service, far beyond my expectation. Zappos is where I will buy my footwear from now on!

I have worn this type of boot daily for the last 25 years. I could not do my day to day without them. I put them on and take them off tens times a day. I wear them in snow, water, mud, sand, etc. They have never lasted more then 3 years and I don't expect these will either. The Blizzards are well made and stylish. They keep my feet dry but not as warm as I would like. The zipper is stiff but that's OK. If you are going to wear them riding around town in your SUV they will last a good long time. If I get three years I will be happy. The price was why I bought these. Most boots of this type are too expensive. I bought an 11 which I always wear but they were too big. I bought these for my Dad, he has very wide feet with a high instep and dementia which makes it very difficult for him to get shoes on. He normally wears an 8.5 (5E) and that's what we got. He said they felt great on but when he stood up to walk he said they felt tight in width and length. I'm returning for a larger size. As far as the quality of the boot goes they are very well made and pretty light weight. Every pair of shoes he owns are from Propet and they have worked well for us in the past.

Im'm returning these boots because they chafe above the ankle. I may try the Blizzard in the lower rise. The XX wide was wide enough for me, which is rare. The shoe, although a little heavy, seemed very durable and able to weather tough terrain.
