I bought these for my son for college in Chicago. I had ordered the lace up versino and the zip up version (the lace up because he has a high instep and I thought they would fit better) and the zip because they seemed more urban and less hiker-like. Although we preferred this style, the lace-ups fit better -- my son thought that his heel lifted a bit in the zip up. So we kept the lace-up and are returning these. Either way, with the Thinsulate and waterproofing, the price seemed great.

I purchased an 8-1/2 5E and it fit perfectly which is unusual for me in shoes. I find some 5E"s a little too big and buy a 4E Nike or New Balance running shoe. I have worn them in snow and rain and my feet stayed dry and warm. This was my first experience with this brand and I would buy them again.

My husband loves these. Perfect for working in the yard after a big rain.

So glad I went with these boots! My feet are 12EEE so I decided to order the 5E to accommodate for thicker socks. I find the width is perfectly comfortable. Really like the ease of the zip front. I was worried that they might be warm enough, but so far they've been plenty warm when I shovel snow. They look great too. Highly recommended.

A bit tight but comfortable.

FIT- my size is 9.5 x 4E. Glad I ordered the 5E since perfect fit (3E would have been too narrow). COMFORT- was fine the first day I wore them, and comfort improved by the end of the day. Not as cushy as a tennis shoe (but good) and I did not buy a tennis shoe. Once they break in well I will add a sole pad for the heel. Not needed but will enhance the cushion. QUALITY- Boot is robust & high quality throughout including the waterproof. Love the one zipper in the front for quick slip on. Also sharp looking! Wife told me to buy another pair to have one for work & the other for casual, or to wear with a suit when walking thru snow. PRICE- excellent price for this high quality. DELIVERY- I ordered the boots at 8pm on a Monday night & delivered on Tuesday afternoon! Outstanding! ZAPPOS- What I love about Zappos is: I need a 4E width & they have MY SIZE, plus excellent selection, plus fast free delivery. I can drive all over Columbus, Ohio to every shoe store & never find my size. Plus at stores you will pay 30% more. I will never go to a shoe store again. Thanks to Zappos!

Very nice boot. Love the zipper for the ease of getting on and off. No need to mess with laces. Purchased the 3x width at first but that was too narrow. Zappos returns are a breeze so I ordered the 5x width and that was a perfect fit. Highly recommend these boots and Zappos!

I was unable to fit an orthotic in the "boot." Not wide enough even though it is apparently a 4E. 13 is my usual, but oversized (for me), normal size. My usual observation is that the difference between W (E) and 4E is not substantial in most shoes and boots. Even 6E, when that exists is no different than 4E, but is substantial compared to 2E or E. Hopefully the size 14 4E will be adequate.

I love this boot. Easy to put on and off with zipper (which I find secure). Perfect for rain. I just wish it was one color.

Great snow boots!

The boot itself is great one my husband gets it on, the problem is getting his foot in. The top of his foot can't get through because the width if the boot where the zipper ends is too tight. The boot is wide enough inside, but not across the top (where the zipper ends across the top of the boot) is too narrow. I had to put bread bags on his feet, (like my grandmother used to do for me to keep my feet dry when I was little) and use a shoe horn to shove his foot in. It's an arduous process but these were the widest boots I could find. They're a beautiful insulated and sturdy boot. I've looked up ways to stretch out the middle. Hope it works.

L.L. Bean look-a-like that is available in a more generous width than the Bean boots. Very comfortable. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I have been searching for a pair of boots for a friend for several months with out success. He has a very high arch and has a hard time finding something he can slip on his foot without a struggle. I found these boots for him and he instantly liked them, because they ran a little wider and the front zipper.

Nice product. My husband has a very high arch, the front zip is especially useful for finding an easy wear-warm and good gripping boot.

These are some of the few boots we found that actually come in wide sizes, which helps. Bought a half size up to have room for thick wool socks. The real test will start late fall.

My husband bought these boots for fishing. He loves that they are fairly lightweight and also very comfortable.

These ran larger than expected, so had to return. Like the ease of getting them on and they seem well-constructed. They are shorter boots, so would not be ideal for deep snow.

We did return these boots. They are stylish but a little stiff and the front zipper does not smoothly open and close it’s a little struggle.

They are comfortable and good quality. the zipper allows easy slip on. Very satisfied
