I bought multiple pairs because I loved these so much and want to have them for years to come. I beat the crap out of my hiking boots and these put up a great fight against everything I throw at them.
PROS: Unbelievable comfort, amazing traction, BOA lace up system is fast and easy to use, might have to tighten up a little bit more after you first put them on and get moving (due to heat expansion perhaps but I am no scientist). Waterproof, mud proof, clean off very easily.
CONS: Sorry to the wide foot people who don't like squeaky boots. These fit me great and yes if you are using these for indoor work and you are walking on some sort of laminated floor, they will make a lot of squeaky noises.
I wish I knew about these boots sooner.
Thanks UA!!!

Got these for my husband. He really liked them. I did have to return them since my husband said they were too tight. I reordered them half-size up, he said they felt much better and after walking in them for a few hours he said they really loosened up. He is enjoying them and will be ready to do a 26-mile hike.

I highly recommend these shoes. I work at the airport and walk and climb all day, and the shoes have been extremely comfortable and flawless. I have also had no issues with grip or traction. Another big plus for me was the covered toe area because I have to crawl a lot and usually the toes of shoes get destroyed pretty quickly, but these remain structurally sound. I know they seem a bit pricey, but they are worth it. In fact, when I wear the treads off mine, I will be purchasing the same shoe.

Diesel mechanic. On concrete 12+ hours a day. Outside in dirt and mud all weekend. Shoes are extremely comfortable and are great at keeping feet cool in summer. I was changing socks 3 + times a day. Now only once. Gortex does great. After a year and a half time for new ones. Sole has worn through. But have litterally worn them 7 days a week since bought. Great shoes

I own 2 pair...black/red non goretex with regular lacing and camo goretex mids with lacing system. I alternated them on the Camino Primitivo(Spain) in June (depending on weather) and they were both great. Very comfortable on long 35+K days . The lacing system is a winner, making the early morning lace up a pleasure and evening removal super quick. When you first put them on, there is a back and forth sensation which passes quickly.
I have about 500 miles in the goretex and about 200 in the other and both are looking and feeling good. I typically order one full size up in hiking boots which I did here and find that most comfortable for long multi day hikes.
Absolutely no "cons"!

I am a pretty tough customer. I have been on a quest to find a very comfortable and cushioned shoe. I have a lot of back issues and having the proper shoes makes a huge difference. I have had many other brands and high end trail running shoes to get a comfortable and orthotic fit. Lets just say I have tried a lot of really good brands and I have some great comfortable shoes but this shoe literally blows them all away at once!! I just got this boot and it is already extremely comfortable. Usually there is a break in period and I know that there is with these too so I am expecting them to get even better with time.
The BOA lacing system is really nice. I really don't like lace up shoes and some lace systems like that used in the Salomon shoes is great but doesn't seem as tough as the boa system. I do not know why more companies don't switch. Laces work but they suck.
The other advantage to this shoe is the ankle support which is flexible and low near the heal which really adds to the comfort. I like ankle support but a lot of high top shoes are more uncomfortable but these are really well designed.
All in all these are some of the best shoes I have ever worn. They would be great for hiking, walking, or running. The main advantage to these is grip and comfort.
I never knew UnderArmour made such great shoes. They need to make a low top with this sole and a more dress like shoe. The sole is that good!!

I'm a delivery driver for a major shipper, so I spend a lot of time on my feet walking to and from the truck; upwards of 200 stops a day. I've worn a lot of boots over the years and these are by far the most comfortable I've ever put on my feet, right out of the box. I no longer dread driving a manual with a stiff clutch or making deliveries to third floor apartments. They fit snug and don't slip off my heel, the dial lace up system is ridiculously easy and stays put all day. I thought they looked odd at first but the midsole cushioning and comfort has me completely sold. I would recommend these boots to anyone that works outdoors or just spends a lot of time on their feet. The price tag is completely worth the comfort and ease of use.

These boots are nothing short of remarkable and I really wish I didn't have to return them. They where sure cushioned and fir everywhere for me except for the width. But that is partly my feet, they have bunions. Well at least one foot does one Becki had the other one cut off. I think if I didn't have that problem they would have been perfect. Thanks
P.S. if you made a 13.5 in every shoe they would sell fo sho.

Very comfortable footwear for daily use. Copper insole is outstanding and the Michelin tread is wearing very nicely. Highly recommend this boot.

Let me start off by saying I spent 5 years the Marine Corps Infantry, (So I have a lot of experience with boots!) These boots are awesome! The cushioning feels amazing! I love the BOA system, it makes taking the boots on and off so easy! Great for rainy days working outside, to coming inside. The soles are amazing! EXCELLENT traction and I just love how they don't seem to allow mud to build up or stick to them! since they are Gore-Tex, spraying them down to rinse them off is no problem! GREAT BOOTS! A good pair of boots always needs a little breaking in time. The only negative thing I can say is that I wish it were a little bit lighter, but I honestly don't see how you could, without compromising the boot. (DON'T DO THAT) One of the best pair of boots I have ever owned! GREAT JOB on this one UA!

I just picked these boots up at the UA Brand Store in Boston. Walked about 5 hours immediately after I purchased them, no break-in period whatsoever. They are absolutely THE MOST COMFORTABLE boots I have ever worn.
The only downside is the fact I bought them in the US, so paid more (due to exchange rate) than I otherwise would have in Canada.
You will no t be disappointed if you buy these boots.

I just received my Fat Tire boots and I love them. Now I only walked around the block with them and around the house but compared to my other boots, what a big difference. I cannot wait to head out this weekend and hit the trail.
As other people mentioned in their reviews, I do get some squeak when walking but it's only out of the left boot. As for the size. I went with a size 11 and it fits perfectly, for the left foot, but it's a little tight on my right. I wish 11 1/4 was a size.

Just got these last Friday. Haven't taken them off. These are ridiculously ridiculous comfortable.
Spent some time on a gun range in about 3" of snow. Great traction. Feet warm and dry. Get em'. You'll love them. Ran across a parking lot and felt like I could have run 5 miles. Beyond expectations.
Thanks UA for Great Gear!!

It's hard to find a good work boot that gives comfort and durability. I'm on my feet a lot so this boot is perfect. I will be buying more UA Fat tire products.

I have tried Merrill, Keen, Hi-Tec, Hoka and now Fat Tire GTX for long term hiking
foot comfort and this one is it.. The BOA system is really nice to fine tune your fit. They
appear to be waterproof to an extent, but they are so comfortable I would tolerate a
little water if I had to and bring an extra pair of socks. Very happy with my purchase.
They do run small, I went up from a 9.5 to a 10.5 they fit perfect.

I bought my first pair of these about 10 months ago and am happy to buy another now that they've come out in all black. I was skeptical but tried them on and although the most expensive shoes I own, I hope they never stop making them. I may buy a few more pair just in case. They run very small. I normally take a size 9.5 US and they are snug on my toe at 10.5, so I ordered 11's as my second pair. With the lacing mechanism, it should be fine (sooo comfortable!). I never write reviews but this product was so unexpectedly good, I feel compelled to let UA know. They're like pillows for my feet!

I'm not going to lie, I was drawn to these boots by their sheer ugliness. I couldn't take my eyes off them like a rubbernecker at an accident scene. That being said, I'm so glad I had the nerve to try these on, I had to see for myself what this unique boot had to offer. I was in the market for a hiking boot so I surfed a lot, reading reviews. I saw these on a couple of other sites, they certainly caught my eye, and the reviews were good, but I thought they were out of my price range. I stumbled on these (the camouflage ones!) in a local sporting goods store, I HAD to get them on my feet, I couldn't believe how comfortable they were (for me). I obsessed for about a day, searching for a cheaper price. The day after, I said f*** it, I had to have them, even at retail! I've got about 10 miles on them now and couldn't be happier. They are very comfortable on the street, and darn near fluffy on the trail, didn't feel a thing, amazing! Thanks UA!

I purchased my Fat Tires at Sport Chek (Toronto). I was looking for something similar to my Stinson ATR's, that could withstand the cold temperatures and heavy snow here. I came across the Fat Tires when browsing the UA site, and was so intrigued, I immediately tracked them down locally.
The UA fit system is terrific: it had me coming in at a half size larger than my "typical" athletic shoes, and the fit was spot on. My foot is low volume, average to slightly wide, and the Fat Tires work really well for me. I typically wear a mid to heavy sock for cool temperatures, and the Fat Tires are sized to accommodate this. For super heavy socks, or if you use orthotics, you may want to go a full size up,
After seeing the BOA system in use on my cycling and snowboarding footwear, it was great to see this system executed so well on the Fat Tires! Easiest entry and exit ever!
I've now had the chance to go for a few snowy runs, and a lot of walks in these puppies - about 100km so far.
The Michelin sole is great: grippy and flexible.. In deeper snow you will slop around, but this is true of most footwear. Similarly, ice will be treacherous, unless you are have carbide studded sole. But in general, they have done a great job. The Celeste green sole on the colorway I have is reminiscent of my old Cyclocross tubular tires And perhaps should be reserved for that use, as well as Bianchi bikes ;) Some more colour options would be great.
The ride is very similar to the Stinson. however, because of the more rounded profile of the soles, there is slightly less lateral stability. I'd like to see the next iteration address this; a touch more would be helpful. As it is, they are still fantastic, and you will get a really good lower leg workout, as you activate to stabilize yourself! :)
The Gore Tex has kept my feet dry and sweat-free. I'll need a lot more miles to test the liner's anti-stink capabilities.
All in all, a fantastic cold and wet weather running boot! I plan on picking up a second pair. Keep this model, UA - its a winner!

Used this ever since snow has arrived. GoreTex indeed, no more wet feet! Very comfortable (Most of the time, read below). Yes, need 1 size bigger, especially you have wide feet! I wear size 10, and now I am wearing size 11 in this shoe. At times, I wear them without the locking system, and the shoe still fit, and only feel somewhat loose. Think of it as wearing the Nike Foamposite without the laces.
Maybe because of my wide feet, most of the cushioning is in the middle of my feet, so, if i do stand on my feet for a long time, it starts to be not as comfortable. That could only because I am on the heavy side.
But overall, wear this during snow and rain, and it be the perfect shoe!!

Hail Mary, full of grace. Our Lord is with thee! Blessed art thou Fat Tire GTX shoes and blessed is the fruit of thy shoes, Michelin Celeste Green Soles.
I'm not kidding when I say I only bought these to support Michelin to contemplate making Michelin Mud II cyclocross tires in that color again!
Google me - WV Cycling. I'm rabid about getting these tires back on the market!

I love these boots. Tried them on when they arrived, so comfortable I ran for 25 minutes in treadmill with them. This is my first time experiencing the BOA lacing system. I can't say enough! It makes the boot so easy to put on and take off. Especially today, we just got hit with 30 inches of snow here in NY and the fat tire gtx Michelin boots got out to the test. After 3 hours of shoveling, my feet not only warm & dry, but totally free of any pain or fatigue.i could have walked another 3 hours. While anyone can slip in snow that displaces as umyou step in it, this boot offers great traction. I did not experience any squeaking when walking inside my house like some others. The seems very well constructed, all in all seems like a winner! Great job UA, keep it up.

These boots are incredible. They are one of the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. The Frederick, MD police department would like Under Armour to make them in an all black tactical model so they can wear them for work.
