Had these for a little over a month, worn daily for general use and paved trail walks with the dog. They offer superior support and great traction. Very comfortable for all day wear and have lived up to the promise of being waterproof. I'd definitely buy these again.

This is the first time in my life I've bought another pair of the identical shoe, after wearing out the first pair. They fit perfectly (I'm grateful they are offered in Wide), look good, and feel terrific for walking and hiking (something that's true of half of my other shoes). My foot goes in easily, and they tie easily. The laces last for the life of the shoe.

I'm on my fourth pair of Oboz Hiking shoes. They are by far the best walking and hiking shoe on the market. I ordered a size 10 and it is more like a 9 1/2, but I knew that from prior orders. Right out of the box they are ready to use, with an incredibly comfortable insole and very rugged and take no nonsense outer sole base. You may have to tighten them up just a bit on your first few days to avoid a heel rub until they flex in like a lighter sneaker would do. It does not take long before you realize just how comfortable these shoes are. I love the fact I can walk right into water with them, and I have never had a water leak in any of the Oboz shoes I have bought. Of course, you have to stay at a depth for the height of the shoe so as not to soak your socks. Overall - I will buy them again and again because I have tried them all and this one is the winner by far.

I have trouble fitting footwear to my aging feet. I m 64. I am also sure shoe manufacturers do not follow a standard foot measurement across brands/companies. So its a pain to buy new shoes for my feet. Yeah, I know I m not the only one..haa. So I have a long narrow foot. Used to always be 10.5 but with age 10.5 and 11. Got these shoes at a Bean outlet. They were a return with a 40% off deal. I had 2 gift cards worth 50$ so they were 30$ out of pocket. Awesome. They fit tight but well, more so across the back of my toes but I loved the way my foot rolled walking. The front of the shoe is arched the way your foot rolls making the stride easy and comfortable. You can see that in the photo. But its not uncomfortable. Your toes don t even notice it. As I wore them over a week the tightness over my toes dissipated. I wear them at work in a mega store. Great shoe. Another reviewer mentioned slipping on smooth surfaces and I noticed that on a wet floor at the store. Don t know why a hiking shoe would not be made to be nonslip on all surfaces but I haven t hiked with them yet so can t comment. They are a very well made shoe. LL has always delivered.

The shoe is very supportive and sure-footed. I wouldn't say they feel super comfortable when wearing them, but they feel supportive and are not uncomfortable. They feel sturdy when walking on uneven terrain. They don't hurt my feet even after miles of walking. They are a little on the heavy side but I think that is a trade-off for the sturdiness. I needed some new hiking shoes for a trip out west to canyons of Southern Utah and the Grand Canyon. I made two 4-mile walks in my neighborhood, which has a lot of hills, a couple of weeks before the trip. I made several 3-mile or so hikes on the trip, some on fairly steep terrain, and I did additional walking in them, with no problems. I was very pleased with them. I would buy them again and would recommend them unless you are looking for lighter shoes or something not waterproof and more breathable.

These shoes were comfortable right out of the box. We hiked at Cochran Mill Park the day after I got them and it was like they were already broke in, they were so comfortable. I would definitely recommend them to any avid hiker looking for a new set of hiking shoes.

Love these shoes. Have tried many brands and this shoe/boot fits best and gives greatest support for walking and hiking I have found. I walk about 3 miles per day with my dog and need good support. They were a perfect fit out of the box. This is my 3rd pair of Oboz.

I bought a pair three years ago to hike across Hawaii. They are the best hikers I have ever owned. Very firm but extremely comfortable. I ended up using them for my daily shoes. After three years they started to get loose so I went back and bought another pair.

These shoes feel great. They are rugged and really grip your heel. They are really comfortable. I have hiked a little in them but I mainly use them as my casual work shoe. The tread grips well and you get positive traction on the trail.

These trail shoes are super good! The fit is comfortable, they are waterproof (tested in the Olympic Rain Forest), and best of all, offer excellent foot protection with a substantial sole that keeps your foot from getting beat up on the rocky trails. Couldn't be happier with these shoes.

First time purchasing the Oboz. I usually buy Keen or Merrell brand and use them for work. I'm on my feet, up and down ladders all day being a self employed electrician. Usually I expect about 6 months of service from the other brands and hope the Oboz last longer. Time will tell of course, however so far so good.

This is my third or fourth pair of these shoes. They each have lasted roughly a full calendar year of traversing an average of over 8 miles a day across my tree farm in Pennsylvania. In the past I have had shoes crack, pull apart and fail with the mud, excessive morning moisture (dew) and rough outdoor conditions that other shoes succumb to.

Got these for our son and while we have only done city hiking, all day long in very cold weather while on vacation he said right at the start of the trip "These shoes are Great!"

Awesome shoes. Supportive, strong, firm and made to fit my foot really well with moderately think socks. I have a somewhat narrow heel and these cradle it wonderfully. Generous toe box. Looking forward to breaking these is a bit before walking all over Florence, and that's what I purchased them for. They feel like the kind of shoe that's more solid than spongy, these are NOT like tennis shoes. They feel highly supportive and protective for all-day walking/hiking.

My son wore these hiking in the western National Parks this summer and they held up great. He did not have any blisters and his feet stayed dry through wet grass and small streams. The foot bed and sole offered support when walking on rocks and other uneven surfaces.

These shoes are like wearing sneakers. They fit perfect and very comfortable. Great for hiking and all types of general activities. And as a added benefit, it kept my feet warm. The weather has been anywhere from 10-20 degrees in the northeast.

Exactly what I was looking for in a hiking shoe. Rigid, supportive sole. Attractive design. Very sturdy. Sometimes a 12 sometimes a 13, took these in a 13. Very happy.
