This shoe used to be really good quality. Now it just squeaks when i walk. I did an exchange and received excellent customer service. However the replacement shoe had the same squeak. I bought this exact model years ago and never had issue.
Not sure if it is a bad lot or just this model. I think I buy a diff brand next time.

My last pair of Rockports lasted many years. Very durable and comfortable. New pair seem like they won't last as long. Quality and material has diminished.

8 months old and inside padded foam ring around ankle is torn out. Now rubbing holes in the heel of my dress socks on both shoes. Have been wearing Rockports since early 80's. These are bad designs. Airline pilot who walks a lot.

Had to return this pair. The size 13W is actually as long as a size 15, and the wide isn't quite wid enough. Too bad. It really is a great-looking shoe. Rockport definitely has room to improve this one. Try making it in the USA!

I hate these shoes. I wanted to love them—they look good and they're a great price—but they're physically painful. REALLY painful.
I first wore them around the house a couple of times for an hour or two, and they were... okay. A little tight in places, a little pinchy, but basically serviceable. Then I wore them to the office for a full day: they started off fine, but by the end of the day my feet hurt so much I could barely walk, and they'd rubbed my achilles tendons raw. I'm not exaggerating: they removed a full layer of skin, and my feet hurt so badly I could barely walk to my car. Still, a month or so later I decided to give them another shot, but things were only slightly better: this time I wore two layers of socks, which saved my achilles tendons, but once again I could barely walk to my car at the end of the day. The best thing about these shoes is taking them off.
I don't know if it's the design, or the pair I got, or how they fit my EEEE wide feet, and I don't care. They're terrible. I hate them. I will never wear them again. This was my first pair of Rockports, and it's possible I'll never buy another pair of their shoes again. I hate these shoes.

I have bought RockPort Perth shoes for decades and ordered 15 W and they have fit from day one.
Not the case with these shoes they fit more like narrows them Wides. I ordered them for my mom's funeral and had to wear them for delivering the eulogy, my feet hurt so bad after the service I wanted to send them back. I am sure the more I wear them the more loose they will become, but it is sad that a good customer can't rely on buying the same size and get the same fit from the same company. Where did the standards go?

Bought these shoes and while one fit perfectly the other was loose. Threw away the box and couldn't return per policy. Not a good experience so just beware that without laces this could be a problem and save your box!

I bought these shoes three months ago. They've been wonderful during that time, incredibly comfortable, even on longer walks.
Unfortunately, the insole is already starting to disintegrate around the ball of my foot. I do tend to wear through insoles faster than most people I think, but usually I can go 9 months or more before the insoles give out. These shoes just didn't have even the baseline durability, and unfortunately decent insoles cost nearly as much as new shoes these days.

I like these shoes but they're a little snug. I've been wearing them for more than a week to work with dress socks and they're still snug and the socks aren't thick so maybe I should have chose the wide versions. If I sit for too long my feet fall asleep they're just too tight I'm just going to have to break them in. Otherwise okay.

I have been wearing these shoes for years, size 9 W, but they no longer fit. After buying the 9W size recently, I ordered the 9.5W size. That I could wear but is not comfortable because the leather does not stretch anymore. You never seem to gave the extra wide available on your site.

Product received was not what was ordered. The included packing slip was correct, however, the shoes were not. They were BLACK LACE UP, not the tan slip on that was ordered. Item returned.
