I purchased these boots and then committed what is likely the #1 cardinal sin of shoe-buying....wore them for the first time to walk around Manhattan for hours. And they were a dream. Not a single blister or pinched toe in sight. It's a MIRACLE! I have ridiculous Fred-Flintstone shaped feet and a high in-step that make the entire boot-buying process generally terrible. But these boots are so comfy, easy on-off, and look great! Love the grey, it goes well with black and dark denim. I like them so much I may need to stock up in other colors.

The grey color is dark and beautiful, and the style is hipper than I thought. Slimming effect on the ankle with cuffed jeans. These were comfortable right out of the box-- they seriously give me a spring in my step even during long city walks. The wide is a true wide and the soles are flexible(not loud.)I did scuff one toe the very first day and I'm not even sure how. However, I'm keeping because I love them and the scuff fits in with the vintage look of the boot. I had no idea Earth shoes were this stylish and comfy and I'll be eager to check out more!

These are very cute and very comfortable boots! I'd been on the hunt for a pair of black short boots that had the right combination of edgy and moderate enough that they didn't look ridiculous (I'm no spring chicken). These fit the bill perfectly. In addition, they are very comfortable right out of the box. Leather is soft as are the soles. No clomping through the halls. The only noise is a slight jingle from one of the buckles. Size seems right on. Overall, highly recommend.

Holy arch support! I have high arches that require a lot of support in order for them to not be in pain after walking any more than a mile. I have friends who swear by the arch support in Born shoes, but even their nice little arch pillow doesn't do it for me. I wasn't sold on the look of these, but had to give them a try after reading a review that said the arch support was so intense that it hurt her foot (I'm hoping other people with high arches will appreciate how dreamy that sounds)! Having seen them in person, I have to say that these are some of the cutest dang boots I ever did see. AND they made my feet feel like I was wearing my beloved Birkenstocks, which is seriously hard to come by in shoes suitable for a lady in her 20s. I got them in the gray color and after trying them on with most of my wardrobe, I can confirm that they go with just about everything—blacks, browns, colors, crazy patterns. I'm also not worried about scuffing them, as that will only add to their slightly distressed look. Size-wize, these were right on the money (and yes, these also happen to be a great price for shoes with this much support). I'm usually a 6.5 or 7, and the 7 fit just fine with room to wear thick socks in the winter. If the thought of having something constantly supporting and cushioning your arches gives you warm fuzzies, consider these. Also, if you're like me and can't afford to have different boots to match your blacks and browns, give the gray color a try! Bonus tip: these look like they'd be clunky and loud, especially with the buckle, but they're so silent I scared the living daylights out of my friend when I walked out to show them to her.

These are typical EARTH brand shoes...amazing. Super cute and awesome support and comfort. I especially love the color, not quite brown, not quite grey. I have a pretty wide toe box and these fit it fine in the normal width.

I am an Earth brand addict! Reliably a comfortable shoe with a nice look. The boot is very cute and I'm looking forward to wearing it with my jeans this fall. I have plantar fascitis and sole easily removes (like all their other shoes) to accommodate my orthotic. I think this is my 4th or 5th Earth shoe!

Love these boots! Have been looking for a black, kick-ass ankle boot with a buckle for some time, and finally, finally, these fit the bill even for super-picky me. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, especially at this price -- butter-soft leather on the outside with an even butterier, softer lining inside, and a super-comfy, flexible sole. The design makes for a great look with the various details of ruching, leather flap, metal edging on the buckle strap slot on both the offside and the street side, and side zipper with leather pull. Dress them up for going out or dress them down with jeans. On top of which, they are unbelievably comfortable and easy to wear -- out of the box comfort for all day trekking. Score!

Boots arrived very quickly and I am happy with them. They have just the right amount of funky toughness that I was looking for. The height of the boot is good for me, being that I am on the short side, as it does not cut my leg off at an unattractive spot. They look good with short skirts and rolled up jeans, too. Comfy boots as well!

Just got these boots and excited to take them on my trip to Italy this week. They are comfy, cute and have a lot of style with the buckle and rugged looking sole.

I love these boots! I've had them for a few months and wear them a couple of times a week. They're super comfortable, have great arch support and cushioning yet are still very stylish (at least I think so!). I normally would stick with black but I got the gray ones. Very happy that I did!

Sooo comfortable!!! I have thin feet so I need to wear thicker socks. Good ankle height and cute with skinny jeans.

I really love these boots! They're really unique in style and I love them the first minute I saw them. When I got my first pair, they were just far too big. These boots do you run large. I like them so much, that I reorder in a smaller size, but I just couldn't get the arch for me in the right position. I was totally sad to have to send them back! I would encourage you to try these Boots...if they fit you...you won't be disappointed!

I was so excited to see these boots! I couldn't wait to get them ...they were just gorgeous! I love the fact that these boots have a lot of style, but they're very versatile. They would look great with jeans and with the skirt, so I couldn't wait to get my hands on them. I was not disappointed when I got them. They were well-made and just as beautiful as in the picture. The only thing is that I couldn't get a good fit for my foot. The arch support was didn't fall in the right place for me. I highly recommend these boots and gave it great reviews even though I had to send them back. I tried 2 different sizes because I really love them. However I just couldn't find the right fit for me, but I would tell you to order these boots because if they fit you ...you will love them ...they're just that darn cute !

Loved them so much bought two pair!! and considering a third. Walk all day at work and NEVER hurt my feet. Did not need orthotics with these boots as arch support is excelelant. I ordered & wide and usually wear a 7 1/2 wide.

Really gorgeous boot! The regular width was a bit snug with socks (especially since I will wear them in winter) so I sent it back, got wide width and perfect. So, it was a little narrow for my size 7. I don't normally get wide width. Very soft, inside and out!

I love the look of this boot. The leather is so soft and supple. I bought three different sizes to see which one felt best and ended up with my true size, which is 9.5, but had to go with the Wide width. My foot is NOT wide, so this boot runs narrow. I can only wear a thin sock with it, not a thick one. I wish it came in a navy blue and a black. This color is okay, but other shades of brown would be great, too. This color is more like a Taupe. But, the first time I put these boots on, I wore them the entire day, which made me crazy happy because I have troubled feet. I have had complete foot reconstruction, so finding shoes that are comfortable are a real challenge.

You won't be disappointed in these boots. The size is right on, and they couldn't be more comfortable. I'm also impressed with the arch support. No surprises out of the box. Great quality and comfort that looks good too!

I bought these boots in Grey vintage. They are awesome. Comfortable from the first moment I put them on. Walked all around on vacation through several museums without a mishap the first week I had them. Great boots. Glad I bought them!

This is a very comfortable bootie! rugged, edgy. I tried FOUR sizes of this before I found one that fit. I'm normally a size 10. Both the B and D were huge on me. I tried the 9.5 B and D. The B was too snug. The D is alittle big, I have some slipping in the heal. I have a tough foot, with somewhat wide toe box, narrow heal. With thick socks, it works. Love the color as well.

Got these, didn't even get them on all the way and I knew- these were going to be awesome! I will probably eventually get another in a different color. Earth- thank you! * I ordered a Wide in 8 so I could have room for thick socks and it was perfect.

LOVE these boots! It was my first time ordering this brand and I ordered the dark gray vintage in my normal size 8. They arrived quickly and the size fit perfectly. Like another reviewer I wore mine out immediately for a full day and they were so comfortable! These are boots you can definitely wear all day and walk for a long time in. I have worn mine with leggings, jeggings and jeans - they look great with all these. I highly recommend this brand and these boots.
