HEARTBREAK! UBER NARROW, SKINNY, SLIM, NOT LIKE SANDALS AT ALL! As Birkenstock expands their product line they are abandoning their loyal, original, wider foot market - ya know cuz we have so many options. These are labeled regular width - but they are NARROW. Not only is the foot bed narrow the ankles are so tight I can barely walk up the stairs. I have a big foot. I want a pair of moto style boots with a sole that isn't flexy and can't find them. This is heartbreaking.

I wanted to love this boot so much. They look great and almost feel awesome. The reason I love Birks is because they are wide enough to fit the true width of my feet, and these boots are not as wide as the real regular Birks. It's a small difference that makes all the difference for me. I'm disappointed, haven't heard back from Birkenstock regarding the issue and will keep searching for a wide and stylish boot.

Warning: these boots are NOT black. They are medium to dark gray. If you are looking for black I would keep looking. Also, they are very hard to get on. Once on, they feel good, but I only wore them around the house and I can feel that the back of the heel is going to rub. You may get used to it once they are broken in but it's hard to say. I am sending them back, mostly because I am looking for black boots.
