Shoe is comfortable for me with a thicker sock. This is because I have to buy a 6.5 medium instead of Narrow to accommodate foot issues. I have been wearing them around the house and found very comfortable.

Very comfortable shoe, runs close to size, perhaps a tiny bit small, but I'm wearing my usual 7.5 comfortably with very thin socks. Would definitely recommend for comfort!

Comments on Fit: I have always found it hard to find shoes that fit; now that I have bunions, it is even harder. I have learned to keep track of which size fits me in which brand, but I have not worn Cobb Hill shoes before. In hopes that I could find some helpful info, I searched for size comparisons between Cobb Hill, Clarks and Hotter with no luck. In case it might help other folks with the same question, I can say that I wear Clarks 8.5 M, Hotter 8W and European 39. So I ordered this shoe in both 8.5 M and 8W to see which size fits me. The Cobb Hill is a very good fit in 8W. My other fit issue is arch support; these do not really have much arch support. General Comments: Although the 8W fits very nicely, they just don’t look good on me. My criterion for keeping items ordered is “would I buy this if I saw it in a store?” In this case, I don’t love this shoe enough to justify the expense so have decided to return both pairs of Petra. But I do LOVE Zappos! The delivery was amazingly fast and the excellent service policies mean I can take a chance on something without seeing it first.

These are great shoes for working in an office. They are very comfortable and stylish, yet conservative enough for an office. I really like how the footbed is slightly padded. Cobb Hill is a brand owned by New Balance, so that says a lot to me about why these are so comfortable. As far as fit and size goes: I have wide feet and I wear a 9 1/2 when wearing Asics running shoes. But from the Cobb Hill brand, a size 9D fits perfectly! It's really hard for me to find cute shoes that won't hurt my feet. But these are great, not one blister ever! The price has gone up since I bought my first pair about 2 years ago, but I'm willing to pay the cost because these reliable shoes perform very well. I'm planning to buy another pair.

Not quite as comfortable as other Cobb Hill shoes I've purchased. A bit narrower in the toe area. I've worn these for several weeks now and they feel the same as day one. I was hoping they would provide all day comfort but they could be a bit better in that department. It might just be this style.

Ever since I found the Cobb Hill brand I have been a HUGE fan. I am on my feet a lot for work and while a solid pair of sneakers are great they don't quite look stellar with professional attire. As a result I struggled balancing comfort and function with style until this brand came into my life. I love these shoes because of the strap across the middle. Wearing flats is difficult for me because my feet always slide out of them. My feet stay firmly in these shoes all day and are not sore or tired like typical flats without support.

I like these shoes a lot. They are pretty cute and very comfortable. I wear them with and without socks. They are comfortable without socks. They have decent arch support, and the wide is actually quite wide with a generous toebox.

So comfortable! Fits custom orthotics if cut to the right size. I recommend wrapping the footbed in tights (knee highs work) instead of wearing Sperry's, which slip off all the time. Only complaint is that the strap will start to hurt if you walk for several hours in them. But a band-aid will solve the problem.

So far, so good! I have worn these around the house. I do not even know that I have a bunion, and the strap holds the shoe in place and does not allow heel slippage. I am in the process of donating my heels and wearing flats. These shoes are pretty and can be worn dress up or down. Thank you, Zappos, for dressing my skinny chicken feet!

This is just about what I am looking for. Its attractive and extremely comfortable. The adjustable band has velcro which works on my foot that is narrow everywhere except across the bunions in the front of my foot. Sometimes the velcro straps aren't sized to actually fit across a narrow foot and have velcro that misses itself so won't stick. The shape of the toe box covers the bunion comfortably and doesn't bind there the way so many other shoes do. The metal button is a cute plus. They are somewhat dressy but very casual. My only wish would be for some other colors. I got the brown which is a very rich chocolate. I may look into dying it.

After wearing them all day at work, constantly walking and moving, my feet feel great. I was skeptical when they had arrived but it turns out they are actually quite great.

Very comfortable shoe. Although my true width is AAA, this adjustable strap made this shoe work. Cute design. Very roomy toe box, but with a thin foam insert, they fit great.

These are well-made and light weight. I ordered a 8w to avoid tightness across the top of my foot and that has allowed me to use an extra gel insert. I am pleased with these shoes. This is my first pair of Cobb Hill shoes.

These are soft and comfortable, these shoes offer a little height and lots of dressiness. They are so fun to wear. I do not even realize that they are brand new. They are just exactly what I need for standing all day.

The shoes are fairly cute, flat mary janes, but, they are too narrow for my feet. I am about a D width, some Cobb Hills are wide enough, some not.

I have trouble finding shoes that fit a foot that is wide in the toe box and narrow in the heel (who knew I would morph into a lady with a bunion). This shoe is very cute and fits well. There is no slipping in the heel, helped by the adjustable velcro strap. I also ordered Earth Sabina to decide which I liked better and ended up keeping both! Have been wearing without socks from the get go and no blisters.

I have the hardest time finding closed toed, comfortable, somewhat dressy shoes to wear at work. After ordering and returning about 20 pairs of shoes, these are the ones that finally fit. I have a narrow foot and sensitive toenails (anything pressing down in the toe region is uncomfortable). These look nice, are comfortable (wore them all day right out of the box without socks and no issue), and fit my feet. I'll be ordering another pair in brown.

The Cobb Hill Petra looks very nice on, the brown is a rich color, it runs true to size, and it has a really comfortable insole. However, even in a narrow, it was too wide in the heel for my very narrow feet. Sadly, they'll have to go back to Zappos.

These are fantastic mary jane shoes. They are super comfortable right out of the box. I wore them all day at the office and they were comfortable the whole time. I have purchased a few pairs of boots from this brand and these shoes feel just as good. The straps are secured with Velcro under a cute silver button and the Velcro is great for adjusting the tightness of the shoe to your individual foot.

LOVE-the best fitting shoe ever! I literally put them on right out of the box- by far the best and most comfortable shoe I have ever had! I just may order another pair for back up.

This shoe is adorable. There is a seam in the insole under the ball of my foot that I was afraid would be problematic for me, but after a day of wearing them to work and walking 1 1/2 miles home, they've stayed comfortable. Now, I want one in every color.
