This is a great looking shoe for anyone who has to wear shoes for comfort. I love the color, the look and....almost the feel. My second toe is longer than my big toe and the next size would be too big so it rubs at the tip of my toe. Alas, they have to go back. I need a more square toe to compensate.

These shoes are very cute and extremely comfortable right out to the box. They fit perfectly and the strap is long enough to fit over my high arch. The brown is a little darker than in the photo.

Overall nice shoes, but it felt like they pitched my foot forward at a bit of an odd angle. Going back.

LOVE these shoes! I'm in my 60's and have various issues with my feet. Have had plantar fasciitis, wear arch supports (Good Feet store) and am having a problem with my big toe. Grrrr! I have tried about six pairs of Mary Janes to no avail and found these, which are cute and comfortable. Huge thanks to Zappos for your easy return policy. Happy camper!!!

I bought these shoes because of the brand. Rockport use to be a top brand years ago. When I received them, I put them on and was happy. The 9 1/2 W shoe was the right size. The next day, I wore them to work. Bad choice for not wearing them around the house first. (I would of returned them.) They were slipping in the hill area. So I bought inserts for the back of the shoe. The pad inside the shoe had stitching that hurt the bottom of my feet, so I went and bought inserts for the bottom of the shoe. When I added those, the strap was too tight. So now I have to find inserts that are thinner, but, give some comfort. Like most shoes these days, there isn't any arch support or any support for that matter. And usually I can fix that with inserts. With these shoes, so far, I am having trouble finding inserts that work with this shoe. When I first got this shoe, I told my husband I was going to buy another color - but that has changed, I will not buy this shoe again.

This was a very comfortable shoe except for the insole. A leather strip is sewn into the footbed lining. Probably this helps wear, but my feet are so sensitive and bony that I found the stitching rubbing uncomfortably in a short time. If you are not so afflicted or if you are purchasing a Cobb Hill style meant to be worn with socks, I would recommend the shoe. I was sad to return it.

A black leather Mary Jane is my go-to three-season "everyday" shoe. I am outside a good deal walking my dog, and while I don't need a hiking shoe, I need something that is comfortable, flat, well-fitting on my 7M feet, and that gives a bit of support on the sides as I go up and down hills, sometimes sideways. I prefer a lighter weight shoe like these. I don't care about arch support one way or the other. These shoes were comfortable straight out of the box, but I've worn them daily for a week or so to give a more nuanced review. They are perfect--comfortable with no rubs or red areas, plenty of room in the toe box and securely-fitting in the heels, sturdy without being clunky or heavy. I always wear them with socks--for me, these are a fairly casual shoe. They work well with jeans and with nicer slacks outfits, but I do not use them for church or dressier occasions. The styling is attractive--enough detail to add interest, but not at all "fussy." I would recommend these and give more than five stars if I could.

Love these shoes, but not sure if they are good for me. I'm generally an 8.5N or 9N. Ordered these in the 9N and the heel slips. However, the toe box area feels small and not deep enough. I am sending them back and will try an 8.5M, but I have a feeling the toe box area just isn't cut right for my foot. Other than that, they seem to have very good support and are really cute looking!

Nice shoes but even though I ordered my usual size, they were too long. I love the roomy toe box, since I have bunions, and the style is very cute. I'm hoping a half-size smaller will fit!

Nice shoe! I love the details like the little point toward the toes and the pattern made with the leather. I have narrow feet, so I was happy to see that they were available in N.

I like these shoes but ultimately decided the toe box was a bit too narrow. They were comfortable but after a long day on my feet my toes need spreading room. These are very feminine and professional loking shoes. They felt true to size (I wear 8.5 and bought an 8.5), even with socks.

These shoes are really cute and pretty comfortable. However, on my boxy foot the toe box started narrowing a tad too soon. If I'd not had another pair that fit me to a tee, I might have kept these in hopes they would stretch out. I couldn't find any reviews that indicated they would stretch after a few wears. I was looking for travel shoes so didn't want to take a chance.

This is the second pair of these shoes that I've purchased. They are comfortable, look good and have good support. They also accommodate orthotics if needed. This pair felt tight across the vamp on the right foot, but that may be from a swollen foot. I had foot surgery a year ago. I'm sure the'll stretch some.

LOVE, LOVE LOVE this shoe, I have the black and can wear my orthotics with them, work all day and walk 2 miles home with no blisters. I have hammertoes, bunions, neuroma, high arches, mortons toe, and a mild heel spur, so finding shoes that fit is always a miracle!

These shoes were larger than I expected. I put a heel pad in them, but that didn't help much. Then I couldn't return them. At least there was a strap to hold my foot in place. Still not my shoe of choice.

I got a 1/2 size smaller than I generally wear and these Petra still had a thumb's worth of space beyond my toe. I really liked the blue color, but in the end, they are much like my Camper's, so I decided not to keep them. Perhaps I'll get a smaller size to choose in the future when I really need them. I bet I would love them in the right size, so it is hard to rate them low just for that problem other than having to pay for taxes that I will not get back when returning them.

The boxy toe makes the shoe seem longer than it is. Arch support is minimal, not moderate. Toe box on the wide was still a bit tighter than I could handle.
