I am a huge fan of the Rockport Cobb Hill Pearl, but my size has not been available to purchase a 2nd pair. I bought the same size in this style, however, it is slightly narrower in the forefoot than Pearl & just too narrow for my wide feet, seems to squeeze my little toe. Otherwise, I would have purchased this shoe! It is nice and light, has decent support, and the floral pattern on the buckle is pretty.

Cute shoe, but the padding of the insole stops with this weird stiff seam RIGHT under the ball of your foot. (in order for the ball of my foot to hit in the right place, my toes would have needed to be as long as my fingers.) Really an unfortunate design flaw.

This is a great shoe that I wear with somewhat casual, as well as more dressy clothes. I have ltrouble trying to find shoes that both fit and feel comfortable, and look pretty good. I have a long, narrow foot, but since I have a Morton's neuroma on one foot, I have to wear a M width shoe with a large toe box. The adjustable strap is critical to help make sure that the shoe stays secure at the ankle, so I can walk comfortably. I did add a pair of slightly padded insoles to make the fit a bit better to wear without any socks. I have to say that I haven't worn the shoe to walk any distances, but it feels comfortable for day to day wear.

I am on the fence as I've never had a Mary Jane shoe thus the average rating (my feet used to be too fat for a Mary Jane - my foot would poof up around the strap). There didn't seem to be a lot of lift, with the sole really flat, and it seemed to make my foot look long. The leather felt fine; the pewter is a pretty color with a purplish sheen, and the brown is a rich color, not reddish as it appeared on my monitor. I tried both 8.5 and 9 in both pewter and brown, both felt too small, but, oddly enough one of the 9s felt smaller than the 8.5 (not both colors). My heel seemed to slip out of both sizes, and the 8.5 felt pretty snug on the top of my foot. I felt I had to latch down too tightly to keep my feet in the shoe and not slip. I bought two sizes as I'm unsure on my shoe size; I've lost a lot of weight, and my normally longer wider feet with narrow heel seemed to have shrunk.

The pewter is a pretty color, shimmery with variations, and the brown is a pretty chocolate brown, not reddish/orange as it appeared on my monitor. My scores are lower as the 8.5 felt too small for my foot, and the 9 felt too long. I decided I'm not a Mary Jane kind of person as the ball area gapes open when I walk; the front edging as well as strap area was somewhat uncomfortable for me (could be as I've never worn Mary Janes and my current shoes are too big). It just felt flat and large, like a fisherman's sandal. I cannot comment on true to width or size as I don't know my consistent size (I've lost a lot of weight so my wider larger shoes are too large). I like the shoe it is comfortable and can remove insole but orthotics would not fit. Color was navy but not a true navy...Rockport color descriptions do not run true. Platinum is almost gold and pewter was the same color as platinum. If you wear a half size you can order smaller size also width.

These are very attractive and comfortable shoes. I have a very wide toe box and comparatively narrow heel, so I needed the wide width on these for my toes, but the heel feels relatively stable thanks to the strap.

A great Mary Jane that was comfortable from right out of the box! Versatile style means this is a great travel shoe that can be paired with everything from jeans to black dress pants. This was a staple of my winter wardrobe!

I have a Cobb Hill Parker which has turned out to be a perfect dance shoe for me, and my custom orthotic fits in perfectly. So I bought this Petra, similar to the Parker, and it fits exactly the same. I will continue buying Cobb Hill shoes. They wear very well and are so comfy.

This is my second pair of Petra shoes. I walk miles every day in the hospital where I work. They are very comfortable and provide good support.

This shoe was fine but hit my ankle in a bad spot unfortunately. I have another pair of Cobb Hill that fit perfectly so it's particular to this style.

Really wanted these to work but they ran large. The heel just felt too wide and I didn't think they would stay on. Didn't think an 8.5 would work, so I decided against them. But otherwise, very comfortable.

I really wanted to keep these. However, while I don't have high arches or thick feet, the strap could barely make it to the velcro. Only a sliver reached it, so the shoe looked terrible and was very uncomfortable. A friend has these, and her pair fit me just fine, so I don't know if there was some sort of error in constructing this pair or this batch. Sadly must return. For what it's worth, the bed of the shoe felt heavenly, and I'm sure they would have been extremely comfortable to wear.

Beautiful shoe. It’s color and design is darling. The first time I slipped them on I knew they were the one. They were soft and light and didn’t rub anywhere. The strap is a tad stiff but I know after a few wears it will loosen. Like them so far.

Because of my very wide feet, I am not an easy person it fit. However, the Petra felt good right from the start. The only change I made was placing my metatarsal support under the removable sole. I actually gambled and went shopping all day with brand-new shoes. To my pleasurable surprise, all was well. Although they are not exactly "dainty", neither are they clunky "orthopedic-style" in in appearance. I am happy.

Finally these shoes come in an extra wide. One of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. No break in necessary. Going to buy more

These shoes seem really comfortable, but also a larger fit. I would suggest ordering a half size down.

I have a pair of these already and wear them many hours per week. They are so wide in the toe box that you don't necessarily need to order wide if that's what you do normally.

This shoe was comfortable but not the color I was looking for.

I really wanted these to work, but they just fit oddly. The toe box was a smidge tighter than I want and the heel too loose. They were less padded than expected. The biggest problem is that they are less structured than I expect from a 'comfort shoe' My foot had too much play and I knew I'd turn an ankle. They might work for you if you aren't prone to randomly turning an ankle for no apparent reason. They look pretty good.

I have narrow, sensitive feet and I thought I would always have to use band-aids to avoid blisters when breaking in shoes. These shoes fit great out of the box -- no band-aids needed. I could probably use a slightly narrower heel, but the strap keeps the shoe on my foot with minimal sliding. Love these!

They were a bit stiff and uncomfortable, not the shoe I was looking for.

My Cobb Hill shoes in pewter arrived today. I put them on and have worn them all day, with a medium-weight sock. The support is exceptional, and the insole is fully removable. The style is cute, with artistic detail. And for a sturdy shoe, the shoe is amazingly lightweight! Highly recommend!
