I really wanted to be able to wear this shoe but alas, my difficult feet would not go in this shoe when my feet are swollen. I like the style and materials. I had ordered the black. The little v shape on top is very stylist. I ordered to wide which should fit wide feet that do not have many foot problems. Velcro under strap was nice and strong.

Just had knee surgery and decided to get a good pair of shoes. These are the best shoes I've ever put on my feet. Soft leather, so cushioned, cute style. At age 73 I guess I deserve the very, very best.

This is a great looking shoe for anyone who has to wear shoes for comfort. I love the color, the look and....almost the feel. My second toe is longer than my big toe and the next size would be too big so it rubs at the tip of my toe. Alas, they have to go back. I need a more square toe to compensate.

These shoes are very cute and extremely comfortable right out to the box. They fit perfectly and the strap is long enough to fit over my high arch. The brown is a little darker than in the photo.

These are THE most comfortable shoes, straight out of the box. No time needed to "break them in". I received the shoes, put them on the next morning, and was in heaven the entire day. I have a very high instep and at my age, I am beginning to need more support for my arches. These shoes provide great support! Plus, I have never seen such fast shipping. I ordered one morning and received the next afternoon. Thanks, Rockport!!

LOVE these shoes! I'm in my 60's and have various issues with my feet. Have had plantar fasciitis, wear arch supports (Good Feet store) and am having a problem with my big toe. Grrrr! I have tried about six pairs of Mary Janes to no avail and found these, which are cute and comfortable. Huge thanks to Zappos for your easy return policy. Happy camper!!!

This was a very comfortable shoe except for the insole. A leather strip is sewn into the footbed lining. Probably this helps wear, but my feet are so sensitive and bony that I found the stitching rubbing uncomfortably in a short time. If you are not so afflicted or if you are purchasing a Cobb Hill style meant to be worn with socks, I would recommend the shoe. I was sad to return it.

I like these shoes but ultimately decided the toe box was a bit too narrow. They were comfortable but after a long day on my feet my toes need spreading room. These are very feminine and professional loking shoes. They felt true to size (I wear 8.5 and bought an 8.5), even with socks.

This is the second pair of these shoes that I've purchased. They are comfortable, look good and have good support. They also accommodate orthotics if needed. This pair felt tight across the vamp on the right foot, but that may be from a swollen foot. I had foot surgery a year ago. I'm sure the'll stretch some.

LOVE, LOVE LOVE this shoe, I have the black and can wear my orthotics with them, work all day and walk 2 miles home with no blisters. I have hammertoes, bunions, neuroma, high arches, mortons toe, and a mild heel spur, so finding shoes that fit is always a miracle!

I got a 1/2 size smaller than I generally wear and these Petra still had a thumb's worth of space beyond my toe. I really liked the blue color, but in the end, they are much like my Camper's, so I decided not to keep them. Perhaps I'll get a smaller size to choose in the future when I really need them. I bet I would love them in the right size, so it is hard to rate them low just for that problem other than having to pay for taxes that I will not get back when returning them.

Finally I found my perfect shoe! I have all the known foot problems, bunions, flat feet, splayed toe and hammer toes.With all of that these shoes are comfortable and have enough support and cushion for hours of shopping or walking around. I have 3 pairs and would like to see them offered in light tan or linen. I did have them stretched a little at the toe area as really no shoe made accommodates my feet but these work! This shoe even with the rubber sole does not look clunky like some out there that I own. They work great and are cute with nice dress slacks or jeans. The strap for me is in the right place as some strapped shoes I've tried won't keep the shoe on my foot. I never thought that would an issue but obviously it can be for some people. This is my first try at strapped shoes and these work very well to keep the shoe on my foot as slip on shoes do not work for me. I worked with an independent shoe store and they really worked to get a shoe to fit my feet and I am so glad they carry Rockport and Cobb Hill. They even ordered a style they don't normally carry that was a different strap style Polly that did not work because the strap hit my foot at the wrong angle and the shoe did not fit properly. However, as long as this shoe fits so nicely I will order more just to have extra shoes down the road.

I ordered a 7 1/2 instead of an 8 because the 8 wasn't available in wide and in blue. I'm glad I did because the shoes fit well, so well that I wore them 2 of 3 days at a conference where I stood 6 hours and walked upward of 7 miles. What a wonderful surprise. If it had had a higher more supportive arch these shoes would be perfect.

Super comfortable shoe. I have a wide foot, and the 6W (I sometimes have to go up to a 7 to gat a shoe that is comfortable enough in width) fits perfectly. The strap ending is a little wide for my taste, but I like the shoes very much.
