Perfect right out of the box. However, I usually wear a wide shoe and this is a medium shoe and the width was perfect so this particular shoe must run a little wider than usual.

Shoe runs wide, length is fine. Looks great with nylons or no socks. But wearing socks ruins the look of the shoe.

My mary jane search is over! I have exhausted all the choices at Zappos and I have found my shoe! This pair has a nice wide toe box to fit my wide foot and the style is really nice. The extra style lines make the shoe look like a quality shoe, the strap is wider, but would be perfect if it weren't velcro, but most are these days. I also wish this shoe wasn't so flat. The inside of the shoe has a lot of nice stitching and that is nice, too. I was looking at a Taos brand, but it was too narrow in toe box and the strap, good thing was that the heel was a bit higher.

The Cobb Hill Petra is a 9 out of 10 for fit, size, comfort, having worn them for couple of hour indoors with thin socks. I have difficulty finding any shoes that fit my < narrow size11 feet, but these are keepers! I will continue to search other styles in this collection. Thank you Rockport and Zappos!

I love these shoes. My third pair. Orthotics fit in perfectly, they are lightweight and so comfortable. Can’t ask for more.

I have extremely wide feed with a very high arch and instep. Most WW shoes I try from here I have to return. These FIT, a bit tight at the edge, but they should stretch, being leather. The footbeds are great - they actually seem to have a metatarsal pad on them which I really like. It's really depressing trying to find shoes - happy to find this pair, just wish they were available in more colors in the WW sizes. I'd love these in a raspberry or light green color!

Mom has feet that vary in size with swelling. Sometimes shoes fit and the same pair don't fit at any other given time. The shoe fits either way now. Comfortable and the adjustable strap allows her to wear the shoes all day.

These shoes are very comfortable. I replaced the insert that comes with the shoes with an insert with arch support built in to address the lack of arch support in the shoe. I have a hard time finding walking shoes that fit well (my heel slips in many shoes) and these shoes, with my own insert, are perfect.

I am always searching for aesthetic, but comfortable, walking shoes as everyday wear and these for the bill for my needs. Mary Jane style has been a go to for me throughout my years and Petra is a particularly comfortable variety.

These were attractive shoes and almost wide enough for my wide foot. I thought they were going to work for me. I have so much trouble finding wide enough shoes that aren’t too wide in the heel and these were pretty good. Unfortunately the toe box wasn’t high enough for my turn up big toe.

I wear 9 EW shoes. The shoes must have a deep toe box to fit. The only way these shoes fit is with the insert taken out, and then they are still tight. The actual shoe appears to be made well. The insert seems like it would fall apart quickly. Like most Mary Jane style shoes, they look do look clunky on your feet. The way the shoe is patterned with a leaf like design only makes up for this a little bit.

This shoe looks great, fit perfectly, and is comfortable when I stand all day at work. Just what I was hoping to find!

This shoe is cute, and the extra wide fit really well around the ball of my foot, where the foot is actually wide, but I had the typical problem with wide shoes in that the heel was slipping all over the place. Also, the shoe felt very "minimalist" under my foot with virtually no cushioning or feeling of support. I had a couple of similar styles here from Clarks to try on at the same time, so could really feel the difference in comfort. I had to return these.

I’m very happy with this shoe. It fits great, even on my extra wide feet. It is work-appropriate and can be worn with jeans. It’s exremely comfortable. The best part is the strap attaches via Velcro so there’s room to tighten if you’re going sockless, and room for thicker socks in the winter.

Bought these for trip to NYC, for plenty of walking. They are comfortable, cute, and the insoles are removable leaving room for my custom orthotics. This is exactly what I was looking for!

They feel great right out of the box. It is so hard for me to find shoes that don't hurt my feet. These are wonderful!

Very happy with the shoe. I was having a problem buying this kind of shoe. Zappos was the only place that had it. Very pleased.
