I ordered a size 9 UK (wear a 9.5 US) had to return for size 8 UK but it was easy to do with Zappos return policy. Very happy with shoes.

Super comfy and cool! They need to be polished every once in a while, but no complaints!

Perfect for work

Loved the shoes. Originally bought in a size larger because reviews were saying they ran small. I found them to be true and had to return to get my normal siax

Great looking shoe! Bought these for my husband for Christmas and he loved them! It is very difficult to find him good quality shoes at affordable prices because he has such big feet... most places don't carry size 13 and up. But leave it to Zappos to fix that problem!. The shoes run a bit big so i had to buy a size smaller. The are soft, comfortable,easy to put on, stay tied once tied, and built to last!

Really happy with this purchase. Comfortable, perfect fit, lightweight but sturdy.

First pair of Dr. Martens, but won't be my last. Very happy with these boots. They are comfortable and look great. I've worn them almost everyday since they arrived. To work (teacher) with khakis and a button up shirt and on the weekend with jeans. They look nice either way. Leather is a very nice color IMO and the sole is comfortable all day. You'll be happy with these shoes! (But if you're not, you'll love Zappos super easy return process)

Bought these shoes for my husband. Looked at all variations of this shoe and this was the the look we wanted. Casual but can be dressy. They are very stylist and he said they are very comfortable. Many reviews say different things about the size but he took the size he alwyas takes and they fit perfect. It is his first parit of Dr. Martens and he loves them...certainly won't be his last pair. And for the type of shoe and the name, you can't beat the price. Thanks Zappos for great shoes at a great buy!

This shoe runs a full size larger. I normally wear UK 10 Docs with the Comfort Insole and they fit perfectly. I had to return them and get size UK 9 (without the insole). They are comfortable and look great.

Great looking shoe and very comfortable

These shoes are very nice. They do run a bit large. My son currently wears a 7, but probably won't fit into these for about a year! Will definitely order them again when they will fit!

Great Doc Martens boot. It felt broken in right away. Their sizes run a little large, so I had to exchange. Zappos return policy is the best. It's easy, quick, and what keeps me coming back.

These are great!! I am pleasantly surprised how well built they are for the price! Comfy and good support. 2 eye is nice. Very roomy which is what I expected from Doc. I wear a 11US/10UK. The color is awesome too. Legit!!

I have been looking for a pair of Dr Martins that I used to wear in high school. My brother told me about Zappos and how easy it would be to get them, he was right! They came the next day with a great price. The shoes fit and I wear them, great job, Zappos. I will refer them to all my family and friends!

These are really comfortable. I recommend them. Break in was one day.

These are very comfortable boots, which is exactly what you would expect from Doc Marten. The fit is EXACT, so if shoes are typically snug, order up a size. For me, it's like a custom fit. Also, be careful of the UK/US sizing. The first pair I bought were the UK size, not US, so they were one size too large (UK 11=US 12). Otherwise, great looking and wearing!

Way bigger than expected

Got these for my husband and he loves the comfort, color and that they are chuka boots. He was able to wear them all day immediately with no breaking in. I've had a pair of Dr Marten's for 20 years and wanted him to have the same love affair. I'm extremely disappointed, then, that the shoe laces broke after less than a month of wear. He doesn't even wear them every day and the laces snap? I don't get it. Someone else had a similar issue and got leather laces, so maybe that's the answer. Boo, Doc.

The boots look very nice and the gaucho horse has a good depth of color. The style has a slight industrial, more casual look, and not super dressy which is cool. The sole seems durable, but it's going to take a few weeks to break in the leather. I bought the DR. Martens wonder balsalm to pair and it work great!

Felt true to size with a little looseness in the heel/ankle. That being said, the width (I have wide feet) is perfect. I think these are perfect everyday business casual shoes that can be worn with jeans or chinos nicely. I wouldn't wear them with slacks or anything more formal than business casual, but they might work for someone else.

Ran a little bit large on me but there's no need for me to send the shoes back.
