These are cute, but there is one detail that completely ruins them - the back of the heel is not padded at all. I tried them on in my house and had blisters within the hour. How can such expensive, and otherwise lovely, shoes have this glaring detail left unfinished? Unlike all of the clog styles, the back of this shoe has sort of a rough edge that just stops. That is awful. I do not recommend these under any circumstances.

I was looking for attractive black flats for business travel and these are perfect. I'm medium width but need a little extra room/flexibility in the tie box due to small bunion and toe pain. After one day of wear, I had no pain and several compliments. I'm a new Born fan. Thank you Zappos!

The leather is SO SOFT and comfortable. I wear and 11W and have bunions so it's hard for me to find good shoes that fit and are comfortable that still look nice. These fit right out of the box. The v-cut out at the top opens to accommodate for extra width and, contrary to what many have been saying, the heel fits my foot just fine. Someone posted that they look like Grandma's house slippers and I would have to disagree. I am not disappointed in these shoes at all.

These are really cute and would be comfortable if they were wide enough. I have wide feet and was hoping they would still fit. Super soft but not quite stretchy enough for me.

I really like these a lot. They seem comfortable and cute for being a fairly basic black shoe. However, the one thing I liked best - the v-notch detail - ended up being the reason I'm sending them back. When I tried them on (in the evening after work) my normal-width feet were a little puffy from standing all day, and the v-notch expanded open to make room. Good for comfort, but made my feet look extra extra wide and it was sort of awkward looking. Drats! The search continues...

These are comfortable shoes with good arch support. I don't feel like I'm walking on paper in these. There is a nice cushioned rubber sole/bottom. Thanks to Born for making another great shoe! A+

I am a very picky office work shoe tupe of person. I just received these and they feel A-mazing! they are very light and have support.

I purchased one pair in biscotti and another in navy over a year ago. They have a arch support that is good that I can wear them all day without pain in my lower back. I love the fit, no break-in period required. Both pair have held up well. Now I’m thinking about adding a new color.

I seriously considered sending these back, but I wore them a few more times, and now a month later I love them. I did get small rubbing on the back of my ankle the first day I wore them out and about, but they seem to have quickly shaped to my feet and don't seem to rub, and they feel a little less constrictive in the toes. They're not my favorite style, but God knows finding decent wide width shoes is a herculean task.

This is the second pair of Born Sebra I've owned. This is one of the most comfortable styles I have ever worn. The leather is so soft and supple that I could wear the shoes comfortably without breaking them in. I had the previous pair for 3 years so it is durable.

These are the most comfortable shoes ever! They have stretched some with wear and fit my feet like a glove. The only issue I have with them is that occasionally, due to the design of the sole, it can be slightly unstable if I'm walking on uneven surfaces - so if you struggle with weak ankles this might not be the shoe for you. Other than that, as usual, this born shoe is as comfortable as a slipper, but looks nice enough to wear all the time!

I can always count on Born. I open the box, put the shoes on and never want to take them off. Perfect fit and they feel like gloves for my feet.

These are the most comfortable shoes ever!!! I ordered them in Navy and loved them so much I had to order them in Black too! The leather is super soft and I love born shoes anyway so it was a win win for me!! Thanks Zappos :-)

I love Born shoes and these are definitely one of the best pair I’ve bought. They are simple and versatile, but also cute for everyday casual style. I’m a mom of two wee ones, often on the go and these work great for my lifestyle. I’m also tall and prefer shoes that don’t give me a ton of lift. I have large feet, due to genetics and two pregnancies which left my feet an entire size larger. My feet, however, are fairly lean (not narrow just medium-ish) and I look for shoes that are both comfortable and not too bulky. These fit the bill. I have no doubt that I will be wearing them often. Highly recommend. Side note, if you need a fair amount of arch support, you may want To go with another style.

These shoes are so comfortable right out of the box. I bought them for to wear with jeans for a business-casual look. And they are absolutely perfect. Enough room in the toe box. No digging on the back of the heel. Just enough arch support. Love these.

So, I have tried for about 6 months to get a pair of these that actually fit my feet. I have a narrow heel, wide at the ball with a high arch and instep. I went from a 7, to a 6-1/2 to a 6 wide. The six wide fit more like the 7 and the footbed had a major wrinkle in it that would have driven me crazy to actually wear the shoe. The color, and feel of the leather and padding is amazing but just not working out for me:(

The shoe feels true to size for me. I have to wear a wide shoe and it's usually hard to find a wide in a stylish-looking shoe. Footbed is very comfortable, unlike many flats I've seen and worn. Born always produces a great shoe. One shoe had small nick in the leather on the heel, down near the bottom of the shoe. It's in an inconspicuous place, and I need the shoes so badly, I'll keep them. Be sure to look over your shoes completely before wearing them. Great product.

Loved the quality and style of the shoe but, as I had read on other reviews, there is not enough room across the top of the toes. Very uncomfortable.

I'm a relatively average size 8 in most shoes. This felt narrow to me and my toes were really squished even though I had plenty of length in the toe box. I exchanged for a wide so hopefully that's the correct one for me.

The material felt nice, the bottoms squeaked when walking and there wasn't much to the bottoms so I'm sending them back. Ordered in wide and were comfortable. I now know when I order in wide I need to go down half a size.

These would be nice relaxed shoes for casual outfits, but the heel is too wide. I ordered 8.5W, and the forefoot/toe box is wide enough, but then the heel is too wide (my feet are more duck shaped). So these flop off if I try to walk. Really sad because they look nicely made.

Loved the look but the fit was way off for me. I'm a true 7.5B, but this shoe was too big in the heel and uncomfortable in the toe box--not too narrow but not roomy enough for my big toes somehow. Just didn't fit.

The leather is very light weight, I wore these maybe 4 times and were too stretched out already. Order half to whole size smaller.
