I liked these shoes and think they are adorable, but they fit rather sloppily in the heels. I’m a 9 1/2W. If I went down a half size I think they would no longer be wide enough. Sadly, I will be returning them.

I like the look of the shoe but there is little support. In addition I find my foot slides around in the shoe.

I love the look of these shoes, especially the color! I had always heard how comfortable Hush Puppies were, but I admit I am disappointed. By the end off the day my legs were achy and my feet sore--that is not how I feel normally at the end of the day.

I love the shoes style-wise, but their isn’t any arch support and my narrow heels slips. I will probably remove the interior and replace with my own orthotics. That and thick socks should do the trick. Otherwise - super cute!

Love these shoes!!! ordered in navy and they were lovely. However, my heel flopped up and down while walking, even after switching to heavier socks. Also, I need better arch support.

I have very hard to fit feet (very high arches/instep, very narrow heels, average width forefoot, skinny ankles) so I was hopeful the lace up style would allow me to adjust the fit to my foot. I also wanted something with a removable insole so I could replace it with my own orthotics. I tried these in my usual size 8 medium width, but they were much too big/long, even with tightening the laces. The insoles also have a slick texture, so my feet slid around a lot when I tried to walk. So I tried a 7.5 but they were too tight in the toes. I felt like there was more than a half size difference between the 7.5 and 8. The suede uppers are unlined, which means they are very soft and flexible, and accommodating for bunions or other odd foot shapes. But they are so flexible they don’t provide any ankle support if that’s a concern for you. The insole has a little arch support, but can easily be replaced with an orthotic if desired. I had to return them, but they’re worth a try if you don’t need much support in a bootie.

I really like these boots. After reading the reviews I decided to order wide. I ordered a 9 but they were a touch too big. I then ordered an 8.5 wide. A better fit but the look was very different. They color was lighter, the stitching was inconsistent and the laces were a different material. I kept the second pair but the first pair was more attractive. Just know there is some inconsistencies in what you get.

I am delighted with the shoe, although it doesn't seem as wide as I expected. I have a high arch and a high instep. Usually I can't wear this style because it cuts across my instep, but this one works fine! It does only have moderate arch support, but for a normal arch, I think the footbed that comes with it will be comfy. That comes out, leaving room for my own inserts.

I ordered in wide and it fits nice. My problem is the laces do not stay tied well. I try to tighten them down, but still come unlaced at unexpected moments.

These are very cute! But they just didn't work for my feet. The uppers are loosely structured, not a lot of form, I guess I need more. But I have difficult feet...arthritic joint, one foot slightly bigger than the other. They appear comfortable with cushioning. Love the navy color! Wish they had worked out.

Sad to say but I have to return this boot. It is really cute. The tassels add a special touch; however, this boot is too short. The manufacturer does not make an 11.5 so this will not be part of my wardrobe.

I was looking for a pair of desert boots to replace some old ones. These look nice but are not as sturdy. I have small feet so my choices are limited. I ordered the chocolate brown which is a nice rich color. I’m keeping them and will review again after the winter.

What good: (1) Color and height -- at 4" they show most of the legs. (2) Better than many in terms of comfort.Laces are cute but just in my trial run at home they always came undone. You want the **reef** knot, not the "granny" knot most of us learned growing up. Basically you tie shoelaces backwards. I watched the Terry Moore video but had to rewind etc. I rec. you google images for reef knot. (3) Worry-Free Suede which I didn't realize until I read another review. If the Vimeo video is accurate, the scuff / water resistant suede will be great. (4) Price seems reasonable if it lasts a long time. Cons: (1) Heel was too wide & slipped. Gave me a blister just walking around the house a bit...I suspect due to way it's cut & maybe the grommet. I put a heel pad back there which I think will fix that issue. Wishes: (1) Wish sole had more flexibility so feet can get full flexion...better for you...but there is some. (2) non-suede Leather option

I really loved these shoes, wore them a lot for the school year and they were perfect. The heel wasn't obnoxious for the classroom, they looked professional and were comfortable for the day. However, the ties drove me nuts. They easily became uneven and untied easily unless double knotted. The back of mine ended up tearing after about a month, not sure why. Overall I would repurchase again, they worked nicely for a long time.

I love these shoes, they are cute and comfortable. My only issues are that 1) if I’ve been wearing them all day and my feet swell, they put slight pressure on the tops of my feet and 2) they have turned all of my socks black and burgundy. I guess I have sweaty feet, but still.

Very cute, but not as wide as I'd hoped. Usually if I order a Wide, they work. Very sad to return them. Quality seemed superior.

Bought them for my wife. Boot is beautiful and stylish. Problem was the heel. Length and width were true to size, except too much room in the heel. Heel was slipping out of the boot, even with a heavy sock. What a shame. Back to the drawing board and Zappos makes shopping a pleasure.

Cute. Nice color. The laces come on done constantly - can’t count how many times I had to tie my laces all day.

Bought in olive green w/blue tassels, these are adorable. Very soft suede. No arch support. The 9M was too long (normally I'm a 9N, these only came in M, but reviews said these ran small) but the 8.5 fits just right thru the foot, altho the heel is sloppy so I'll put heel pads in to keep in place. Really cute w/jeans. Just waterproofed them so I'm ready for fall.

These were too narrow until I took out the insole. They are super cute and I’m so glad I ordered the flower pattern!

Loved the look and feel of these although they were not as red as I thought they would be. The problem with them for me was that my heel slid up and down with every step, a blister in the making. Would have liked to make them work but not to be.
