I usually whear an 8W in shoes, but I'm having problems with getting the size right in booties. These were too loose in the heel for me.

Beautiful shoes, but run narrow.

I really like this boot. I got it in black velvet and it looks really classy. The toe box was wide enough, and though the heel was a bit loose on my narrow heel, it was nothing a heel grip couldn't manage. The reason I will be returning them is that the quality seems very low. I literally walked from one room to another and the soles began to look worn. Also the area around the laces already looked frayed. Had the quality been better I would be keeping them.

This will be a little confusing. I love the boot. I even compared it to another somewhat similar blondo boot and still liked this one better. I got the taupe which I think is just a great color with almost anything. Looked surprisingly good with my black jeans, and it can take on a grayish tone when needed, or more tan, too. Just a good basic, I think. The confusing part is that when I first opened the box I was very disappointed in the color. I though for sure I was done right there, but thought I'd verify fit before boxing up and maybe getting a different color. That's when I realized I actually really liked the color. The insole is also really comfy to me. I ordered a 9 as the overwhelming majority say it runs true to size. The 9 is too big - sloppy on my heal and a good finger's width in front of my toes. Also, the unlined suede was crinkled on the toe of one shoe. Made it look cheaply made. Last part was that I could feel that one was bigger than the other. I realize our feet are both slightly different sizes, but any time I can FEEL that boots (it's always boots that do this to me) are differently sized, I can't stand it. All of this made me hesitant to try a new one, but I went to a store so I could verify fit and quality. I needed an 8 1/2 and that pair fit fine. I also thought the medium width was just fine, no issue with that. If not for the quirkiness of the first pair I ordered I'd have given the overall rating probably 5 stars.

I wanted to love these shoes (Butterfly print) but I had too major problems with them. One, I did not find them comfortable. Two, the print looks muddled in real life. Yes they have a cool copper sheen. And yes if you are within 10 feet, you can tell they are butterflies. But if you are further away, it just looks like a muddled mess.

I bought two pair of these and I love the style but they hurt my feet. My toes tend to slide and jam forward in the shoe which is painful, yet they feel true to size, so unsure why this happens.

I love, love, love, the look of this shoe. It's just as cute in person as it is in the pics and video. It did have some issues with the fit. My toes were snug and comfy, but the heel seemed to slide in and out as I walked, and the top of the shoe gaped awkwardly around my ankle. I didn't want to go a size down, because I didn't want my toes being squeezed. It felt as though it was made for a wider foot, even though I selected the narrowest option available. If you typically wear a wider shoe, it will probably be perfect for you! If you are like me and prefer a narrower shoe, it still might work for you. You'd just need to be ready to deal with the looseness around the ankle.

Just too darn narrow for my feet. Nice, soft leather though...wish they'd fit.

Classic looking chukka.Insole is cushy and has moderate arch support.Tassel ties make it feminine. However if you have a wide foot and a high instep, may not be for you. I went up a full size above my normal 9W and the boot was too tight across the instep where the tongue of the boot begins. Too shallow shoe depth. At that point the boot was also 1-2" too long. Also note there is only two eyelet tie, could not get as tight around ankle as would have preferred.

I ordered the wide width and the toe width with fine. However the heel area was too large and the material around the ankle it too flimsy and does not provide any support. I have to return these.

Truly uncomfortable; especially for a "comfort" shoe. There's a tiny bit of Cush in the foot bed, but I'll bet 4 hours will squish it. The shoe pitches your body forward like a high heel, even tho there's almost no heel. Odd... And sad cuz they're cute! Seems to wide as well. I usually have a wide foot and the medium was too wide. Especially in heel. :(

I wanted to love them, I really did. I ordered the wide but they are not a true wide. Wore them in New York City for a day and they bruised my big toenails badly. The toenails fell off and then had to grow back in. I'm so sad, Hush Puppies shoes, especially in wide, are usually very comfortable and life-friendly, but these ones literally caused me suffering. I really wanted them, so much so that a few months later I bravely (stupidly?) ordered them in another color with a half size difference. Still not really wide and I wanted to keep my big toenails attached so had to send them back. They sure are beautiful to look at though. The wide size is too narrow on the toes.

I absolutely love these boots! I have been searching (for years) for desert boots in a wide width, with no stitching in the toe area, crepe sole, leather/suede. Found these despite not having seen them here before (and I am a long time shopper here - I have problem feet and find all my shoes on Zappos). However, I got the 7½W (I should have also gotten the 8W at the same time to compare). I am now returning for the 8W and I hope that the back will not be too loose. The 7½W is much too short (I usually get 7W or 7½W depending on the style, sometimes I can get into an 8 medium but rarely). The light blue is beautiful if the 8W fits, I may get another color, as I am getting tired of my Merrell shoes, they do not fit like they used to).

These shoes could have been my favorite but the problem was the width. I wear wide but this fit was tight like it is just average width. So I had to send them back.

These shoes are comfortable but they run big. Also, the tongue of the shoe does not stays in place, it keeps coming down and it is annoying. The material of these shoes will not keep your feet warm. I do not think these shoes are worth the price.

These fit well seem like they would be comfortable but as mentioned in another review the heel just does not fit right. It slips doesn't feel like your foot sits in it right. I tried thick socks and that really did not help, you feel like you need to get your foot deeper into the heel but of course due to the design you can't.

These were too narrow (usually not a problem for me as I have narrow feet). However, I didn’t want to go up a size because they were too long. I am returning-such a shame because they are really cute.

I purchased a size 9. I could barely fit my foot inside. My toes were cramped and the back of the heel was pressed against the inside of the shoe. Terrible fitting but the color and style were nice.

Very cute fall shoe. Far too narrow. Its listed as being a wide width but it is so tight, there is no way it is a true wide. Length was spot on; width is too tight.

So cute and wanted to love them but the back of the shoe doesn’t hold onto my heel—my heel slides up and down when I walk, tried a smaller size and still the same thing.

I wear a medium width shoe and this shoe was snug. I like to wear some medium thick socks with this type of boot and it wouldn't have fit. Only thin socks would work. Not much toe room and I like comfort. Style...ok. Comfort...Not ok.

I like the style and color but I found them to have no arch support and they did not fit after I inserted the arch support I occasionally wear. I expected Hush Puppies to have a better arch I guess. I returned them.

Pretty flimsy feeling. The leather is not reinforced. The size was narrow even though I ordered a wide.

Great shoe but it runs much narrower that expected.
