I've been trying for the better part of a year and a half to find a pair of pants to ride in. For some reason it seems like all the companies want you to either have the cuffs of the pant drag in the mud and snow on the bathroom floor or wear em a good six inches above your belly button. The option to get these in a short has made all the difference in the world! I'm not a particularly short guy, in fact I think I'm pretty average,(6' 165-lbs). I've tried the medium from several companies and all seem to fit at the waist (about a 32-33) but all have been way to long and baggy. The medium in the short fit perfectly! Thanks TNF!

Great for snowboarding

When it is cold and windy I wear it on top of my office pants (jeans). Much better solution for cold weather then wearing thermal underwear that makes me sweat in the office. Never tried it for skying or hiking - never had condensation problem, but it blocks wind and insulates legs pretty well.

Perfect, I'm 6'2 200, L fits perfect

I just wore these for a week skiing in Japan. Very comfortable in minus 15C weather. Handy pockets too.

My son is a very lean 6'5", and it is very difficult finding clothes in general, especially winter sports gear. SO glad that North Face makes these in a Long length, and in reasonable waist sizes! So many brands only make large waist sizes in their long lengths. There are many many tall and lean people out there, thanks for the product! We wish you had tall coats also....the North Face coats he tried on were too short in the sleeves.

Amazing fit. My husband currently has very nice custom made ski pants and these are every bit as comfortable.

Warm, cozy and perfect for skiing in Park City Utah's fridged chill and windy weather! We bought these for my husband to ski during vacation and we're really happy with the purchase. They fit well and keep the cold out and the warm it!

The fit is adjustable and really works for me. All the pockets are awesome for a day out. I can't wait to hit the slopes!

Wear daily for outside work

I bought two more pair after wearing some all last winter. I walk and hike with my husky no matter how cold or how much snow is on the ground. It can get pretty cold in Indiana during the winter, and my husky and I love being outdoors. These pants are warm, durable, fit perfect and look great. You can't beat anything TNF makes, just awesome products....

I normally wear a 40x30 dress pant. I bought an XL Short and they fit perfect. I love all of the size options. I highly recommend this product!

It is great for hitting the snow. The texture is amazing and it is super comfortable.

great outfit, warm and dry

My husband mainly uses these pants to shovel snow and stay warm while outside. They fit great, he is 6 feet tall and got the long and they fit great. They are super lightweight.

I snowboard once or twice a year and this product has lasted me over the years and is the perfect performance product I wanted. It fits big enough to allow for movement, but not too baggy to feeling uncomfortable.

The sizes are too generalized. I bought the short and they were still too long and baggy in the legs. I'm 5' 9"

Got them for skiing. Great pants. They do run a little long so if questioning which length to get, err on the shorter size.

As an avid skier always looking for a quality set of ski pants that performs well in the coldest weather and can still perform well in the spring. These ski pants with the ventilation openings performs very well in a broad temperature range. Well made and durable. While I always look for ski pants I expect to get at least 5-10 years out of a set of pants and these look to be up to the challenge!
