Nicely built. Wish the waist had more adjustment options as it doesn't like to stay tight on the waist.

Like the brick red color. The fitting is good but wish there were some bottom straps

My husband was gifted with this pair of pants for Christmas and it kept him real warm and dry in the freezing Bismarck weather so I ended up buying the same exact one for my brother. We all went to ski last week, and both my husband and my brother brought the pants with them. Unfortunately, we found a hole in my husband's pants on the second day of skiing and it was a shame because it's only the fourth time he wore it.

Like the pant. It's a good fit, and even though it is not an insulated model, it is still pretty warm, at least at twenties. A couple of improvements I would like - a reinforced boot cuff and removable suspenders.

Purchased this for my son. It fit true to size, but he felt that the legs were too wide. Bought size S. He is 5'6", 130 lbs. Ultimately, he went with a different pair he liked better, so we returned this one.

At 62 I'm a bit past my prime and with a short inseam have a hard time finding clothes that fit. Usually a 34-36 waist / 30 inseam. Tried the Large short. Inseam / length was good, but the legs seemed a bit large / looser fit than desired. The waist was ok after cinching in the adjustable Velcro all the way. I've order a pair in Medium short and will see if I fit into that better. Otherwise the pants are exactly what I was looking for; a value waterproof shell for skiing with room to layer.

Run size big. Fit good bit baggy so if looking for a slimmer fit bit for u. Comfy. Unlined better than lined ones. U can add base layers for degree of cold.

Great pant for casual snow sports. I wear a 32x30 and the medium short fit well. I use them for snowboarding and there's plenty of room for a base layer on colder days.

Nice ski/snow pants. The Large fits like a 34/35/36" waist. They were a bit too baggy for what I was looking for, too similar to pants I already own. But great pants if you're looking for this fit.

Great, durable pants. However, medium size was too big.

These are great snow pants - kept me super warm in Tahoe and dry! I am 6'4" 200lb and ordered a large and could have ordered a medium since they were kind of loose around the waist.

Overall I was looking into snow pants for a while. Heard and saw reviews for the freedom pant. Although the price is high compared to other general brands, Northface is pretty fair compared to other high-end brands. Fit is good (once I figured out my size). I am typically a medium (skinny jeans/pants don't fit me - I have bigger thigh I guess from playing soccer). But the medium was much too big (an easy 34 waist). So I am returned the medium, and ordered a small. The small is good (about a 30/31 waist). The length is a little long for me (i'm 5'7"), but not bad. I could have maybe ordered the short length option, but no biggie. Went skiing for 2 days, about -15C (close 0F) at the coldest with wind. I had a light base layer and the freedom pants and felt fine. Skiing for 2 hours at night, and then 5 hours the next afternoon. They were comfortable, easy movement, warm, dry, overall great!

Item received as described. I needed an "athletic fit" with some extra room in the thigh area and it delivered. The material has a plastic type feel, but it didn't bother me. The only con is the color...would have liked it to be a darker gray because it is basically white, which gets really dirty after a few runs on the slopes / chair lifts.

Good product but a little baggy, if you like a more form fit go with the slim fit

I use the product for snowboarding and I absolutely love them. No snow ever finds its way in and they fit very snug. My only comment would be that they are a tiny bit longer than I would like but not a big worry when being strapped into a snowboard with boots on.

I wished they were a bit slimmer, but still a solid choice for winter sports.

So the color is pretty awesome, I have an American Flag printed skis and snowboard. The color to me is as shown, but the only issue I had, was I wear a large and they fit a bit to tight. Uncomfortable around the waist, but thank god for hook and loop fasteners haha. I think they held up while during my last ride, kept me warm, I think the fabric is strong enough, we will see overtime I guess. Good pants, I had the Hyper Blie color and they look sick
