Fit and comfort are exceptional even with a base layer and I love this color, "Diesel Blue".

I am 5'11", 180 lbs and bought the mediums. The waist and overall fit is just a bit loose but the features and heavy fabric are great. Nice color.

I use them for snowboarding and for tubing with my boys, they fit great and the size is as expected. I will definitely buy a few more pants in other colors. Love them.

product is great overall, but even with room in the waist, the button would slip upon sitting down in the snow.

I first ordered these in small-regular and i am 5'10 145lbs and they were too long and baggy in the butt. I re-ordered small-short and they fit perfect and are not too long. Still a little baggy in the butt but much better fit. I ordered these because they had the adjustable waist unlike the seymore pants which do not. These seem a bit higher quality than the seymore pants too.

I purchased these for an upcoming ski trip. I wanted a well-made, all-around snow pant. These hit the mark. They have a very stylish cut while maintaining their core purpose: to keep you warm and dry in the snow. They are very durable without being overly heavy. Pair with a baselayer, and you'll be set.

I went skiing last week at Big Sky, Montana and I have never skied with a more comfortable, durable pair of ski pants. They allowed for free flow movement and absorbed the impact of any falls I took. These pants helped me beat the mountain down, make it my own and then able to sell it if I wanted.

I got those pans for my husband. He is demanding so it is difficult to buy something for him that he would like. However he loves them. He wears them often for walking snowblowing etc. they look very stylish and he says they are very comfortable. This is awesome to hear this from him

My son was convinced his new ski pants were too long, and through the chaos of Christmas Day, it slipped my mind to have him try them on with his ski boots. I looked everywhere for the packing receipt and realized I had thrown it away.

My son is 6'3" and 185 lb. I first ordered Columbia Bugaboo II pants in size Large Tall. Even with adjustable waist tabs, it was still too big. Unfortunately company doesn't produce smaller sizes in Tall. I was researching a lot and learned that North Face does Tall Ski pants in multiple sizes. I really liked the option to Find Your Size, but in the end the program was 68% for size Medium Tall and 32% for Large Tall. Based on my previous shopping experience I thought Medium Tall will work, but decided to order 2 sizes to be 100% sure. Love that North Face has Free Return policy. Although $40 more, the reason I picked FREEDOM instead of Seymore model mainly because of Adjustable waist tabs. I think it's very important to have adjustable waist so it's not stiff while you skiing and putting your body through different poses. Anyway, Large Tall was the best Fit. Especially due to Adjustable Waist tabs. Obviously still need to test pants skiing. :)

Just ordered and used my new ski pants last week at Beaver Creek. The fit like a glove and were very breathable.

These pants are great. Haven't yet used them in action, but they are comfortable and stylish. I like the vents too to cool down on a warmer day.

Fits great. Quality stitching and construction. Runs big. Nice and roomy in the right spots but not too baggy. When it seems like all other brands keep getting smaller, The North Face sizing stays consistent.

These pants are the same ones hat I had for the last 10 years that are still working fine. I simply needed a new pair for skiing. Good quality for the price

Very nice pants but the medium fit perfect except the waist was too tight and the large size was huge and baggy. Too bad I really liked the feel and features of the pants, they just did not fit me. Returned item

I've owned these pants for years, they are still in great shape but I wanted to get a spare pair just to have in case something were to happen to my originals.

I bought these pants to use as "summit pants" as an outer shell over base layer and light hiking pants on summit night on Mt. Kilimanjaro. The pants fit to size, fit very well as shell over the other two layers, were warm, well designed with pockets and blocked cold wind and were very flexible and functional. However, after hiking to summit and then descending back to base camp the inner angle areas on both the left and right legs of the pants had worn holes right in front of the kick patches. The fabric did not hold up at all to the trekking. There was no extraordinary wear other than simply hiking up and down that single day. I may replace these with the NFZ Pants as they are a different fabric that may hold up better. I want to commend The North Face warranty department for working with me and providing an e-gift card in the full amount I spent on these pants since they did not hold up. Disappointed in the pants but continued support of The North Face!

I bought these ski pants excited because I had a few other products from North Face including fleeces, insulated pants, and gloves but was highly disappointed by these ski pants. I wore them 5 times downhill skiing in average conditions and the pants have developed small rips between .25 and 1.25 inches throughout the bottom third of both leg compartments completely through the material. I have been skiing for 20+ years, including skiing with the same boots and skis as in this experience and never had a similar issue with ski pants. I returned them to the store which in turn sent them to the warranty center only for the company to state it is not covered by a warranty. The customer service represnentive was rude, unprofessional, and condescending. She offered 50% discount off a new pair of the same ski pants but I declined as these have been worn 5 times and I will not be spending any money on North Face products in the future.

I bought these at the tail end of the winter season, so I haven't used them much. So far, I love them! Better than the insulated version as I got too warm when snowshoeing.

The pants are made of great materials with ability to ventilate through the legs if needed. May not be the warmest below -7 degrees Celsius. But with another insulation layer it can be great. It all depends on how active you are and hot it may get as you play in the snow.
