Purchased these to wear on the slopes when visiting in West Virginia. I had two great days before wearing them as my pants of choice in this artic blast. I am comfortable, warm and not "bulked" down like the images seen on tv. Love the versatility of being able to wear for recreation and functionality of daily living when the temperatures turned so cold. I am able to transition from clearing the driveway to heading to the slopes.

Have used these pants a few times already on the slope and really enjoy them. Great fit and very comfortable.

I just received these pants and was disappointed to see the pants don't match the TNF website photos. The pants DO NOT t have a black front pocket (ie. the only feature that made them slightly different than literally every ski pant on the market). They are just a solid color. I called to let TNF know and see if I could get the right pants and they said, Sorry - I guess we posted the pre-production photos on the website. The actual pants in production are just a solid color. It's kind of annoying becase we're a solid 2 mos into ski season and I can't believe I'm the first person to point this out to them. Fix your website! I'm 6'1", 215 lbs and usually a 35-36" waist. I got the Large and the waist and length (regular) are just right for me. I'm not a skinny person and I still feel like the style is baggier than I would like them to be though. Also, I got the green and the actual pants are a shade or two darker than they look online. Still a nice color though. They seem to be well constructed, although short on pocket space. The front flap pocket probably isn't going to be very useful since it's just a velcro closure.

I work at Mt. Bachelor and needed snow pants to wear off the clock. These have been great.

Good product but a little baggy, if you like a more form fit go with the slim fit

Just got back into skiing after a 10 year forced break (4 knee surgeries). Bottom line,, needed bigger ski pants. Received exceptional sizing advice from The North Face Website and ordered up the "2X Short" Mens Freedom Ski Pants (I am 5'10 and 230lbs) Have now used them twice for skiing. One night at Bogus Basin in a pretty windy snow storm (with a high of 24 degrees), and up at Snoqualmie Pass in Mist, Rain, and wind (temp hovered around 35 degrees). Pants stayed dry, kept me warm and did NOT dissapoint. Only needed to wear a pair of thin work out sweats underneath. BothZippers stay closed on the front pockets, and the cargo pocket seems to be bomb proof so far. As usual, I can count on my North Face Ski Clothing! The quality and value of these pants FAR exceed the price I paid on the North Face Website. My thanks go to all the cast and crew at The North Face! Now, all I gotta do is ski more so I can lose a few inches and try to squeeze into a smaller pair next year :). Stay tuned for that little adventure!

Great snowboard pants - I wear a regular length but these are a short. They fit fine. Not baggie but not too tight.

This is my second pair of these. Wanted two pair to trade out for different look. Love these pants

These pants fit great, are comfortable, and held up very nicely in the fresh powder after a week of snow. Never cold once while wearing them!

I use the product for snowboarding and I absolutely love them. No snow ever finds its way in and they fit very snug. My only comment would be that they are a tiny bit longer than I would like but not a big worry when being strapped into a snowboard with boots on.

Good looking, effective ski pant

Great for ski or snowboarding, very comfy and waterproof. They run a bit long so go shorter for ski or snowboard fit

I ski in my freedom pant almost every day. They are very comfortable, durable and water resistant.

I love these pants, perfect color and very stylish! I have great movement in them, if I fall they do not tear or rip. I have received many compliments on the pants. I will never switch to another brand of ski clothing!

Don't be discouraged that this is non insulated. You will be warm with one layer underneath.

There are a lot of snow pants out there, but I feel that, unless you find a good sale, these are the best quality for the price. They look good, they aren't too bulky, and if you do get too hot, there are vents. Big fan of these.

Sorry but baggies are out.. Not for athletic fit..

Bought these to go snowboarding for a couple days! Kept me warm and dry the whole time!
