Wonderful! I have walked all over NYC, Boston, London, and have never had any blisters. They fit right out of the box and look nicer than sneakers (but fit like them). They are light and have a somewhat stiff sole (not squishy but are not clunky). A great choice when you need a walking shoe that looks decent. I also like the fact that they don't get dirty looking and have smooth easy lacing and am able to either wear a light sock or medium wool. I can't say enough about them. They are forgiving width wise but not overly so.

I love these shoes! I’ve had them for over a year now. They are still in great shape (I wear them probably 80% of the time) and still super comfy. Chaco (and most keens) and the only shoes I don’t need to replace the insole with high arch inserts.

I needed a shoe for our European vacation that was comfortable enough to walk miles in, but had more style and versatility than a traditional tennis shoe. I was very pleased with the support, comfort, and style of these shoes. They look good with pants, shorts, (some) dresses and provided the arch support and comfort needed for walking 6 plus miles every day. My usual size 7 was the right fit. The arch support was decent. Initially, I felt like it could have been more, but, I didn't suffer with knee, foot or hip pain like I do with shoes that provide no arch support. I was also happy that these shoes are pretty lightweight. I went through a lot of shoes (thank you Zappos for free shipping and returns!) trying to find the *right* shoe that would be versatile, cute and supportive for this vacation. These fit the bill, I definitely recommend them.

This was love at first sight. It is a beautiful walking shoe, and I have never felt that way about a serviceable shoe. Chaco has made a stylish, functional, cooler walking shoe, that I think could do a light hike over fairly rough terrain. But I would be happy to wear this around town, or at a travel destination. I see it with shorts or cropped pants and with short socks. There are several colors in each shoe! Chartreuse, gray, light lavender and teal. They all work together to make a sophisticated, but comfy shoe. Can you tell I am impressed? The heel topline is high, making the shoe ideal for adding in orthotics or extra padding. Unfortunately, the toe area is a bit cramped, although it is not narrow. I think I've solved the problem with a 3/4 orthotic. When I've worn the shoe a bit, I hope to add extra cushioning beneath the shoe liner. On the heel the mid sole is splayed for stability. I like that! The only thing I would change about this shoe is the firm liner under my foot. Once I've worn these a bit, I hope there will be room for a cushy liner. That would make these shoes perfect.

These have great arch support, but it was in the wrong location for my feet. The laces are also strangely short and slippery — I’m not totally sure how you are supposed to make a proper knot with them. The gray and green was really lovely — sorry to have to send them back.

After trying 4 different Keens and one Vasque I ended up buying these. I have a lot of foot issues and these didn’t bother my feet, but I did add a moderate arch support. They have a nice wide toe box.

I took these shoes with me on a recent trip to Italy. They are lightweight and have good arch support. They look pretty cute too. We did a 4.8 mile hike called the Sentiero degli Dei (Path of the Gods) from Bomerano (Agerola) to Noccelle (just above Positano). It was not an easy hike but was slippery and a path full of sharp rocks and lots of up and down. These shoes made me feel sure-footed and comfortable the whole way.

Nice shoe! I have a narrow foot so I was quite surprised that these worked for me. I’m still not sure if I’ll keep them as they have a very boxy toe and make me look a little like a duck, but we shall see. Who will triumph? Comfort or style? If the style appeals to you, I’d recommend these. I see nothing negative about them thus far.

I ordered Chaco sandals over the summer and loved everything about them, especially the super arch support. I have to say, I was a little disappointed to not find equal support with these shoes. But, on the bright side, the insoles are removable to add my own orthotic. They are also a tad tight across my toes, but I'm hoping they will break in to max comfort, still love these shoes!

An almost perfect shoe - I had to size down a half size from normal. Sturdy - good arch. I have another pair of Chaco's and can walk all day in them.

Love these shoes - so cute but practical for hikes as well as "urban" like the description. However, the heel felt loose so Ithink they might run a tad large.

Cute shoe, but a little clunkier than I was looking for. Chacos run a bit wider than some other brands... but would still be workable with medium weight socks. Top of the shoe felt like it would rub a bit on the top of my toes. Returned.

These shoes are great. The insoles are removable so you can add your own orthotic. Even after adding my orthotic (which is not super thin), there is plenty of room in the toe box and the width. They are very comfortable and have no spots that rub. Really cute looking in person...they are not super bulky like some women's hiking shoes. I usually wear 8.5 or 9 and got the 8.5 in these and they are not tight at all even when my pregnant feet are swollen at the end of the day. Love them!

I typically don't wear shoes like this. I love them. I wore them all day at work then grocery shopping after work = no problems. The color says black but they are more grey. I plan to wear them touring DC next week.

These shoes are really comfy and have great arch support. I wear a 10.5 to 11 and ordered an 11 in these so that I could wear heavy socks. They are perfect. They are kind of a cross between a sneaker and a trail shoes. You could wear them on one of those "super highway" trails but I wouldn't do any serious hiking in them. They are great walking shoes for everything else.

I wore these shoes out of the box as my only pair of shoes on a trip. They were great from the airplane to city streets to desert hiking. Pros: zero break in time required, tread is excellent, very lightweight, roomy in the toe box, removable insoles, laces stay tied. Cons: tighter across the widest part of the foot means my taller orthotics won't fit, and as other reviewers have mentioned, the skinny faux-leather strip on top of the toe scuffs easily and the shoes are not waterproof. All-in-all a great shoe and I'm contemplating buying another pair in a different color.

They were a little tight at first, but I kept them until I wore them and my feet felt comfortable. I like the look. They don't look like tennis shoes, but a little sporty. The laces are slippery. More of an oxford. I think they will hold up. Zappos is always the best.

Just a really good looking shoe, but also very supportive. It's like a regular sneaker has been jazzed up!

This is my second pair of Kanarras. I still have my first pair in grey, and walked all over France and London in them with zero problems. I have a high arch and although these arches are moderate it was not a problem. I never felt I had to insert orthotics. They wear well; my first pair still looks good even with all the miles on them. Very comfortable!

Okay, so they don't fit quite like the sandals, but they still have a great arch support and required no breaking in. Wore them all day the day after I got these puppies delivered with no problems. The Olive color is a very neutral green/gray.

Shoe runs true to size, nice room in the toe box, but the shoe is too narrow for my right foot. I wanted this shoe to work; I like its simple, uncomplicated style, but I need to return it.

Fit is a true size 9M with plenty of room for toes/front of foot. They look nice, too

Fit is great, not too wide but plenty of room. This is my second pair of these shoes, they are great for walking/hiking all day. They look better than regular athletic shoes and can reasonably be worn in a variety of settings.

Cute, stylish, and true to size! Love these!
