I don't have any shoes that are warm and waterproof. This winter has been particularly wet and cold, which is very difficult for a dog owner and nature lover. I love this pair of boots. They are so cute, warm and so hardy. I feel very supported wearing them.

These boots were everything I hoped and wished for. Opening the box was a purely majestic experience. Just upon viewing the boots, I knew they would exceed my expectations. The durable sole, the furry inside, the wool detailing at the top. When I put my feet in, it felt like these boots were made specifically for them. They were the perfect puzzle piece to complete my winter feet. No more cold toes and soggy shoes. Frolicking in the snow knowing that nothing can stop these new boots brought me back to my childhood. These boots are a lifetime of wondrous experience that you will not forget.

This is a great pair of boots for the winter. Only advice I have is to buy a half size up. I wear a 7 1/2 but brought a 8 just so my jeans could fit.

I bought these a day before the record setting blizzard we had, and they kept my feet warm and dry while walking the dog, shoveling, and all other snow involved activities! I love these boots!

I purchased these for my wife. She has not worn them yet due to it being surprisingly warm so far this winter, but she loved the look of them. Zappos did a really really good job with the delivery, I placed my order the 22nd of December and they guaranteed they would arrive by Christmas. I received my purchase around noon Christmas Eve. They also sent me updates of my order through email which was very helpful. I am only giving them five stars because they are exactly what she wanted but I am unaware of how comfortable they are having them on all day. I ordered her regular shoe size and they seem to fit just fine.

This boot is warm if you are active. Not warm is standing in cold temperatures for long periods of time.

These boots are warm! These were a replacement for a worn out pair of North Face boots that I loved, and I was pleasantly surprised at how warm and dry they kept my feet. I was on the fence regarding the styling -was looking for a zip up with fur cuff instead of the lace up and knit cuff. Not finding what I was looking for style wise and leaving for my ski trip in a few days I took a chance on these. They take a bit to put on and take off due to the laces, but they are very comfortable once on. The pretty maroon color makes up a bit for the lack of fur. I also got the all black color, but returned those as they looked too masculine and too much like military field boots. I recommend this maroon color!

My foot is a regular size 8, average width, low arch. I tried this boot in my usual size, 8, but it was too tight even without thick socks and returned it. Then I tried a size 8.5...this boot is too wide, and "squashy", i.e., the boot collapses outward at the inner foot and there is absolutely NO arch support. THey are uncomfortable loose and I wouldn't be able to wear them for long.

I’m usually a size 7 but ordered an 8 for thick socks. These seemed like they’d be warm, but they were so snug going on, I could barely get them off. I didn’t love the look either.

I purchased these boots in the fig color which was beautiful and very stylist. I took them on a trip to Norway where the weather was about 15-30 degrees depending on the day and my feet were freezing. I then wore them in NYC on a cold day that was about 15 degree and my feet were gmfrewzing again and wouldn't warm up even while indoors I was wearing thermal socks on both occasions and double socks while in Norway. Pros-they are comfortable, stylish cons-definitely not warm enough, putting on and taking off is a bit tough you have to expand all of the laces. They may work in 30-40 degree weather with minimal snow but if there is a lot of snow and below 30 degree weather they may not work for you as they didn't for me. Overall For the price I expected a bit of a warmer boot. Seems like all the raving reviews about warmth are from 2 years ago so the boot may have changed. I am now stuck with them so I have to figure out a solutions since they weren't cheap adding to the cost of the boot. They are still stylish and waterproof but not as effective in the warmth department like I needed them to be.

These were pretty stylish for a snow boot, but at my size, 10.5, they looked enormous and were very wide. I have wide feet as it is, and these were still much too wide for me. These felt a lot like duck boots on the bottom, but with some soft insulation. I liked them, I just needed something sturdier for walking and hiking in the snow. I went with some Keen snow boots instead.

These are comfortable and pretty warm/water resistant, but both boots are separating at the heel. Would expect better quality, disappointed.

I loved these boots but they only lasted one season. Like many other reviewers have experienced, they came apart where the rubber base meets the shaft of the boot (I wish I would have read those reviews before making my purchase). I even took them to a shoe cobbler for repair but he said there's nothing that can be done. The boots were very warm, very comfortable, and stylish; I was so bummed when they busted one month in to their second winter.

These boots reminder of boots the Germans worn in the war. The door area was oddly tight, when I purchased I half sized up. The foot area felt as it was made from old tires, that is how hard the rubber was. Returned!

I bought these boots in the winter of 2018 and actually just sold them on eBay today. I couldn't bear the thought of enduring another Boston winter without good, warm boots. These fit well and are warm in the cozy, line calf part of the boot. Unfortunately, the rubber traps cold easily and made my Boston winter very difficult. I'd say these are great boots for wet winter days above 45 degrees but for those who live in freezing temperatures and who wade through snow December - February... not so much!

I should have listened to the negative reviews but was influenced more by the positive. Received the boots and they are adorable. Any excitement ended when i tried them on. There is a very odd transition with this boot from the ankle to the shaft. the ankle bulges out and offered no support whatsoever. no matter how hard i pulled on the laces to try and tighten the area around my ankle, it will not tighten. I suspect this unusual transition is why so many users report that the rubber begins to separate b/c there is alot of atypical pressure there. I usually wear a 10 and ordered a 10.5, and with wool socks, that was perfect in the length; however, they are overall too big in the width and I do not have a narrow foot at all. In fact. I prefer shoes like Saucany, Keen, and Jambu due to a larger toe box. I tired 2 other pair pf North Face boots too and did not like the fit of any of them. Will not be trying this brand again.

I bought these shoes a year ago to wear during the often -25C winters Alberta receives. I was sorely mistaken to think these shoes would do anything to keep my feet warm. I have tried to wear them in -10C and -15C weather and they did nothing. I tried wearing them with wool socks thinking that they would help to insulate the shoes. Nope, this did nothing. They are made with primaloft, but the rubber of the shoe makes the cold seep in. I developed frostbite on my toes when I tried to wear them in -28C weather (as I was told they could withstand greater than -30C). They are TERRIBLE shoes. I am horrified at the blatant lack of quality. I expected more from the North Face. This just shoes that they are not a brand to be trusted in providing quality winter gear. Do not buy these shoes if you are hoping that your feet will stay warm. They do not work and are a waste of money. I would rate them a 0 but that was not an option.

These boots arrived from Zappos full of pet fur and scuffed up! They were is such disgusting condition I could not even try them on! Hopefully I will get my money back and be able to buy these boots from another vendor. The only thing I can comment on regarding the actual boot is that the style looks good if you like a basic look.

I live in Minneapolis and walk most places. With heavy snowfalls and cold temperatures, I require durable, waterproof boots. These boots are comfortable, warm, and fashionable. Unlike most boots, I know they will last a long time. You can tell they are made with durable and reliable material.
