I was looking to replace my 928s but couldn't find stock in my size in any color, so I went with these because they have the roll bar. I wear these for walking and they will work okay for now. Appreciate the stability. Not quite as comfortable as the 928s - the toe box seems a little tighter. Would have appreciated a better selection of colors (I like the grey 928s), but the black works out fine.

These shoes are very comfortable and fil very well and excellent for walking. The only problem that I have with the shoes is that the velcro straps are much too long. They stick past the the shoe. They should have trimmed back at least 2" (see photo)

Look and feel very good. First day the right one squeaked while walking. Didn't feel good about that. Don't know why but the next day no more squeak. Thank God. Been alright ever since. Again comfortable shoe.

I would much rather buy women's shoes however, New Balance does not produce women's shoes to fit my feet. My podiatrist told me what my shoe size in men's shoes would work so I purchased these as a necessity. The toe box is way too big top to bottom, but give my poor toes plenty of space when walking.

The shoe strings have to be retied multiple times per day

I use this product for waking. It's good. But little less weight of the product will make it great.

The shoes are very nice. However, I wanted a different style but there is a very limited selection. I am wondering if new balance is going out of the shoe business.

The shoe is very comforable and a decent return for the money paid I gave only 4 stars due to my preference for a higher back and fewer holes for the shoe laces

I have a very narrow foot. I probably knew better, but I ordered a B width just to try. As I normally buy 13AA New Balance shoes, I should have known better. I would have liked to have kept the shoes, but especially since a walking shoe has a more roomy toe box, they were just too wide. Other than that I'd have awarded them 5 stars. I returned them.

Fit was okay but styling left a lot to be desired. Looked like something my Grandpa would wear. "old man"

New Balance are my preferred athletic shoe, given their comfort and wide sizes. The walking shoes are particularly comfortable. My only issue are the very lightly padded insoles. My feet can swell and the insoles provide insufficient padding. I resolve the issue routinely by buying special insoles into the shoes for more padding and better fit. I wish this were not necessary and understand this might not bother others.

I wear these as my outside of work shoes. I would recommend them.

I have a hard time finding shoes to fit my wide feet but thankfully, New Balance has a better selection than most shoe makers. I've worn this shoe in a 10 1/2 4E and its a good fit for me. The one improvement I would hope they could make would be to lessen the upward curvature of the shoe toe. Researchers are finding that the curve weakens the foot and sets the stage for related foot problems. The shoe would be a little more stylish if the curvature was a little less pronounced. I'll continue to buy it but it can be improved.

Upon receipt I noticed they looked more like slippers than shoes. Seemed be be of good quality, but don't look like sneakers.

Keeps my heels from flopping and reduces shin pain during long 12-hour nursing shifts.

I use the 813 as a casual wear shoe, picked up a pair in white to match a previous purchased pair in black. A great shoe, but I'm still looking for something in a lightweight canvas shoe as opposed to leather. Tough to find in a size 12 6E!

The Shoe fits nicely. I tend to slip out the back of it when walking. I thought this shoe was made for walking?

Shoes and service are great. Feel tight. My feet and braces may be bigger than the shoes. Will know next week.

Love this shoe for everyday wear and walking...comfortable, but sole a little stiff. Would love a pr. of motion control insoles to make them 5 stars. Just a tad pricey to buy shoes AND insoles, but long term, worth it. Have worn NB for years, and right now, the most confusing as far as shoe # and getting a good insole.

A couple of family members have ordered the same style shoe for years and notice a change in fit. The shoe feels harder inside and with a different arch feel. Had to order a different style and size to get a fit. It was not easy as there were few 6E width selections in various shoes. Found this pair in 813 that worked okay but ordered a half size larger than regular size.

bought these to replace "Walking 411", which were no longer available. I like the 2 velcro closures (as opposed to laces), and these looked like the same shoe, but sides are not as high, so tongue does not tuck into shoe as well as my old ones....otherwise, fit is good, and NB's seem to last a long time, but I am a little disappointed....liked the 411's better.

MY NEW SNEAKERS ARE A VERY GOOD FIT. VERY COMFORTABLE. JUST WHAT I NEEDED i WOULD DEFINATELY BUY AGAIN.

I really like the shoes especially because they're made in America.

I'm wearing these as a casual out and about shoe. Shopping, driving and short walks.
