I am a faithful buyer of Keen shoes, including sneakers, and I know they all look a little clunky. But I was surprised by these. They are a mesh WP, which I did not realize meant waterproof. That extra lining makes the shoe heavier and more industrial looking than other Keen sneakers that I have bought in the past. I am returning them, though someone else might be happy. The fit is supportive and wide in the toe box like all Keens.

These are perfect! I am a big fan of Keen and now even more so after a fall that requires a wider toe bed. I travel quite a bit and have been searching for something waterproof. After months of trying waterproof hiking boots (none of which were comfortable for casual walking), I found these on Zappos. They are just what my feet need! I feel a bit like Goldilocks when I say, they are just right.

I really like the Keen Presidio Sport Mesh shoe. I have two pair of the regular Keen Presidio shoes. I ordered the Sport Mesh version because I wanted a waterproof shoe for outdoor activities. This shoes delivers the great comfort of support and roominess in the toe box. I have fallen arches and loose joints and wear orthotics. This shoe has been a great asset for my overall comfort. If the laces loosen, it works if you double lace in the last lace hole. I would definitely recommend them to a friend. Thanks Zappos.com for carrying Keen shoes and for your great service.

I love Keens! This style makes me love them more! The wide toe box allows my feet to feel comfy and these are indeed water proof. . . rainy dog walks have proved that point! I have the wine colored ones and ordered the same in black. These are sensible shoes for serious walkers; they are stylish if you consider what they are attempting to do with these shoes. I have walked miles and miles in their non-waterproof Presidio and feel I could do the same in these. I am a nurse with over 45 years experience of walking and running on the nursing units. . .these feet appreciate that Keen recognizes that we love the teeny bit wider shoe with a substantial insole support!!

I LOVE these shoes! I usually wore Keen Targhee II hiking boots for work (10-12 hour days in a hospital) and walks. I have quite a few issues with my feet. The extra support from hiking boots helps quite a bit. After years of hiking boots, I was willing to try a more sneaker style shoe. The Presidio sport mesh wp shoes offer good support for walking on paved and unpaved trails. Very comfortable. Lots of room for the toes. I’m usually a black or brown shoe person—goes with everything. I branched out and tried the zinfandel. It’s a nice, deep red that works well lots of jeans, shorts, khakis, and other casual wear. Did I mention that I LOVE these shoes?!

I have been wearing these shoes almost every day for 7 months, walking all over Seattle in the rainy winter, and they still look good as new. These shoes have kept my feet 100% dry, supported, and feeling good. The tread is nice and grippy, I don't fear traversing steep and slippery sidewalks at all in these shoes. They look, well, sporty and a little chunky -- it's not a style I am particularly in love with, but for what it is, the design is fine. People who are into sporty looking shoes have complimented me on them. I have the reddish colored ones and, oddly, the dark contrast color is a dark brown, not charcoal/black like the soles, which is a strange choice but it's fine. If you need supportive waterproof walking, hiking, or work shoes, I recommend them.

THESE ARE DEFINITELY WATERPROOF! I wanted WATERPROOF walking shoes for daily walks through very dewy (and often sprinkler-soaked) fields (I am not forging rivers here) and these are GREAT. I have had them for about two weeks now and am very pleased with the functionality. It goes without saying that they are very comfortable and provide excellent support. I bought 7 different "waterproof" walking shoes and compared them all at home for comfort, then re-read the descriptions of my top 3 choices. The Keen is considered "WP" by Keen and has some kind of special lining to keep my feet dry and I am here to tell you, THEY WORK !! I am giving 3 stars for Style because honestly, they are really chunky. But my (actual) dogs don't care and my other dogs (feet!) are happy!!

Absolutely the best and most comfortable Keen (and any other shoe) I have ever worn. True to size, true to width. Love the waterproof feature. I wore them out in -35 degree Montana weather and my feet remained warm and dry.

As a long-time Keen wearer, some of today's Keens are not cut the way my wonderful old ones were (roomy toe-boxes and the like). These however are. They arrived in time for a good rain and they performed superbly. They're not terribly beautiful, but these will be my go-to rain shoes for a good long while.

I have bought two pairs of this shoe. Wearing them for work everyday, has proven to be a real asset. Being in the security work force, these shoes take me everywhere. Running up the stairs, walking at fast paces and comfortably so. Having a few feet problems at my 60+ age, these have plenty of support, and wide toe box room. Comfort and reliability are also here! I'm looking now for my third pair!

I bought a pair of these shoes for a trip to France in 2016. They went everywhere from Farms to the Louvre. I was able to remove the footbed for orthotics and my feet were happy the whole time. Since then they have been worn extensively and you would never know it - they look like new. I bought this pair for my daughter who loved the look and has foot issues. She is very happy with them also.

I wrote a lengthy review about the size of these shoes on May 23rd, but wanted to update to say that I wore them on a recent trip to Iceland and they were perfect. They were waterproof, warm, and very comfortable even though I had not broken them in. I walked many miles a day in them, and they were sturdy enough to wear with crampons while hiking on a glacier. With the black laces I bought for them, they were also reasonably unobtrusive for in-city sightseeing. I would have liked them to be a little cuter, but you can't have everything. A really good waterproof hiking shoe!

I've been wearing Keen Presidios since 2002, and thus have been through quite a few pairs as I really log the miles. My current Presidio walking shoes were due for a replacement and we're smack-dab in the rainy season in Seattle. One downside of the regular Presidio Keens is that the stitching can let water in as they age. But, great fit for my narrow heel and wide forefoot. I was pleasantly surprised to find the Presidio Sport Mesh WP - WP meaning waterproof. Exactly what I need for dog walks in the rain. The fit is the same as Keen Presidios, so I wear a 9 (normally an 8.5 in other brands like Rockport Cobb Hill, and an 8 in Hunter Boots). They feel really solid and a little heavier than the regular Presidios and also much warmer. The warmth is nice this time of year (November), but I expect they will be too warm in the late Spring and Summer - no worry though, as that's sandal weather time anyway. Just don't let the "mesh" fool you into thinking these shoes are cool, they are very warm and dry (because they're waterproof). Not the most stylish shoes, but they get the job done. I log about 4 miles a day in these and have been pleased with both the fit and the dry feet!

These are not as wide as most Keens. In most shoes I wear 8 1/2 wide. I've always worn 8 or 8/2 in Keens. In these, I had to return these for 9 and they fit perfect. They have lots of bounce and support. Love 'em!

If only these worked! They meet most of my goals for travel shoes: no annoying stitching or straps over my bunions, waterproof, nice stiff supportive soles, color that's prettier than the usual grey or olive. But they are sooo ugly! They make your feet look so stubby--very short and very wide.

So I ordered a 8.5 and my actual foot size is 7.5. I have ordered other keen shoes and just ordered 8.5 and the other shoes seemed to be just right. These are wider and maybe a little big but I figured a size 8 might too small. I definitely like keen shoes. I think this style actually looks cute.

I only had them for a day, but so far so good. Since I started back to work (I work at a school in the cafeteria), my back has been in pain. I never thought it was the shoes I was wearing, since we have to buy them every year. My back today, was so much better! I just hope this continues, If so, I will buy another pair, so I can rotate them.

Fit feels the same as my past Presidios. Very comfortable from the start. I like the color. This is my first day wearing them and it is 34 degrees and raining. My feeling is that they are a little warmer than the others; perhaps because of the waterproof membrane.

I have had a pair of Keen for a long time. The soles are flopping off. The last pair I bought, I needed 1 size larger. So when I ordered this pair, I automatically ordered them 1 size larger and they are perfect. They are comfortable and I like that they are waterproof and plenty wide. I will enjoy wearing them when traveling, and I like the way they look.

This is my first pair of Keens and I’m very pleased. They are very comfortable and perfect for the fall/winters in Chicago (with exception of snow storms). I also changed out the laces with Lock Laces I purchased from Amazon and now I can just slip them on.

These are my first pair of Keens. They are extremely comfortable and I love the color. They are pretty warm and comfortable for a Chicago winter. Although, I would not wear in deep snow. I changed out the laces with hot pink lock laces. I love the look! And now I can just slip them on.

My favorite Keens so far. This is my second pair. I'm on my feet all day and these shoes are extremely comfortable. Zappos customer service is stellar! I had my shoes in 24 hours!

I ordered two pairs of these shoes because even though the fit finder said I should get an 8 or 8.5, I read reviews that made me think I might need a 9. Sure enough, even though I have some Keen closed-toe sandals that are on the big side in an 8.5, this shoe, which I plan to wear for hiking in cold, wet weather and therefore want to wear thick socks with, was too small in 8.5. If it helps someone else to decide, I have the following hiking boots/shoes: Vasque full leather boot, size 8, are a bit small with thick socks. Salomon low hiking shoe, size 8.5, is a little on the big side; maybe because I use them in the summer and may not wear such thick socks. Merrill lightweight waterproof hiking boot, size 9, fits perfectly with thick socks. Clark waterproof shoe, size 9, is a little big with my normal winter socks. I have a wide foot and usually get a wide width when it's available. For example, the Brooks Addiction Walkers that I love are an 8.5 wide. I fine Keens are usually pretty wide; you may be able to tell in the picture that these shoes are a little less wide than my Keen sandals, but they are wide enough to be comfortable. They are also a little bit longer than the sandals, which is to be expected as they're 1/2 size larger. I'm not crazy about the gray laces, as I was looking for a shoe that could go from hiking to a city without looking too much like hiking shoes. I ordered black laces for them, which will help, but they'll still look a bit clunky with their styling and the silver grommets for the lace holes. I have a high instep so won't use the top lace holes, which makes these laces too long. I do not think, as one reviewer said, that the contrasting color was dark brown; the whole shoe looks black to me. They were very comfortable right out of the box.

I really like this shoe. They are very comfortable and I love the room in the toe box. My feet didn’t hurt at all after a 10 mile hike in these and they are quite grippy on the trail. I didn’t slip on roots or rocks at all.
