This used to be my favorite. Then I lost it. Then I a bunch more because this is still the best one around.

Great beanie, looks great and its warm and comfortable. It does seem to run slightly snug.

Is there anything better than wool? That's a trick question, NO! The best of wool with just enough fleece liner to not be itchy. Not too heavy, not too bulky, just right. Looks good too.

I have worn my charcoal Whiskey Beanie over two full years. I wear a 7 1/8 fitted cap and fits well I my head (fully covering my small ears). No problems with fading or pilling as another reviewer mentioned. Kept my head cozy hiking in Iceland in the winter. My current beanie is going strong and I plan on ordering another color.

I wear this everywhere and plan on wearing it all winter. It's so warm and comfy, even when a little wet from melted snow.

I have a huge head. This thing stretched to accommodate it and still fits snugly. It's soft, warm, repels sleet and light rain, and is a really nice color. I've had several people ask me where to get one.

Amazing wool toque! I bought it initially because I liked the idea of a boiled wool hat for warmth. And then... I went back and bought two more because I loved the fit and performance of the hat. Fits over the ears (for a small or medium sized ladies head) and tight to the head to keep out unwanted wind. Be careful when washing because the wool can shrink! Cold water only and hang to dry. Amazing winter wind and cold protection.

I work outside all day for weeks at a time...on a regular basis. The areas I work have an extreme variants in temperature in the winter. A day may start out in the 60's (F) then drop to the teens by night, or feel like -20 with wind chill. I am also very active at work, followed by hours of no movement. Wool is the miracle material that is able to handle getting wet and still keep you warm. This hat allows some air to flow in, but does not sacrifice warmth. I have noticed a big difference in comfort when I wear the hat verses older beanie hats. I wear the black in color version, that has a grey tint to it. I took a marker and blacked out the brown leather tag on the front, which turned out really well. Best beanie I have ever had. Hopefully it lasts for many winters to come.

I'm impressed. Very hard to find a hat that fits well and then performs well. This has replaced my Brooks sherpa cap as my favorite for hiking. in PNW, took it up Mt Si and it kept me at the right temperature and absorbed sweat exceedingly well. I have tried running caps which get overloaded and drip sweat. This Beanie keeps the sweat controlled. The performance is worth the additional weight. Easy to wash along with my wool socks. Buying a second one.

This is hands down the best beanie ever. 2-3 times warmer than any cheap knit beanies you would get at other stores. I liked the first one so much, I bought a second. I am even considering buying a third. i will never buy any other kind of beanie again. Fits perfect, small logo, excellent quality.

Since this is boiled wool, the fabric is smooth, quite dense, and still light weight. It definitely keeps the cold out and the fleece ear band eliminates any itchiness wool might cause. I agree with the previous rating that the beanie does not stretch, but did not find it to be small (my head circumference is 21.5 inches).

I got the charcoal. Classic wool style, plenty warm. Subtle logo. Not a fan of obnoxious logos.

I have been wearing mine nonstop since I picked it out! It has provided the right level of warmth for these early winter months so far, and has kept my head comfy cozy on some cold hikes. Logo is attractive.

Very warm and comfortable hat! It fits a little off - it's not quite a snug beanie and it's not baggy either. So if you're looking for one of those looks it doesn't quite fit that mold (at least for my head). But if you're more concerned with the function over style, it's great!

This boiled wool beanie is soft on the inside and tightly knit which provides the warmth I require on cold winter adventures. If I could change anything about this product I would love to add a little bill. Outside of that it's perfect.

I am a big fan of this hat. It looks good and feels warm. The quality of the hat feels like it is well built and will last a long time. Sizing: I would say my head is generally small. I wear s/m bike helmets; moto helmets and my hat size is 7 and 3/8s, so S/M hats will work when I'm not going for a size-specific hat. This hat is labled as "1 size" and is snug. I'm hoping for a bit of stretch as it wears in. I will never be able to wash this hat as per directions. If I had a "large" head, this hat would work. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it will stretch a bit.

Comfortable and stylish, I've used for skiing, hiking, and biking in cold weather, and it keeps me very warm. My only complaint is that it was initially a very tight fit and took several days of wear to become more comfortable.

great construction as usual, I love beanies but once moving fast typically overheat in them. this one so far I have been able to wear 90% of the time, instead of the typical 50% or less. overall an excellent all around beanie, my new all time favorite. the wool helps regulate temp without being overly hot or bulky. I was excited when I saw in the reviews it ran a bit small, as I have a small head and most headwear does not fit me properly. however, the only downside to this thing is it is even small for me. fits "snug" on my small head, even a tiny bit tight though I expect it to stretch and break in a bit more still. if you have a medium to large head this will probably not work for you.

I loved this hat so much I bought it in grey when it went in sale. It is comfortable, warm and stylish. With that said the wind will go straight through it and give you brain freeze.
