I was so in love with these boots until trying to wear them in wet weather. I slide on wet floors and my feet are wet after walking through a very shallow puddle of water. I still like the style of the boot just not the functionality for the price.

I'm really disappointed in this boot. They dont keep my feet warm at all even in cool weather. Went up 1/2 size and I still can't wear warm thick socks.

I was so excited last winter to get these boots for running around the city when I don't want to wear my huge snow boots. They were great for cool to moderately cold days and did well with rain and slushy streets. They even looked great on and didn't make my feet look bigger than they already are, plus they looked good with both jeans and a bit nicer pants. The problem is that they are very narrow. I have never had an issue with shoes being to narrow, and these didn't even feel tight, but they were so awkwardly narrow across the front of my foot that I ended up with a Morton's neuroma. After having a cortisone shot to relieve the pain and inflammation I had no further issues for a full year. I had hoped that maybe these boots were actually not the issue and tried wearing them again this winter. I only wore them twice for a couple of hours and started having the Morton's neuroma pain again. Thankfully, this year I realized the issue right away and stopped wearing the boots and the pain got mostly better after a couple of weeks. I still love the look of the boots and think they are well made, so if you don't have sensitive feet then they would likely work for you.

After reading the reviews, several people mentioned they purchased 1/2 size larger to accommodate thicker socks. On average I wear a size 8, and have a wider foot. I purchased an 8.5 and they were far too large. Didn't have a change to check for support due to the size, and returned them.

This UGG boot should be better described and designed. It is said to be a snow boot. But, there is zero shearling fleece on the inside top of the boot. The top of the boot is rubber. If this boot is worn in the snow, the top of the boot and foot will freeze. So dumb not to extend the great UGG fleece to the inside top of the boot. Disappointed.

These just didn't work for me. Wanted them to wear over skinny jeans and they just made my feet look huge! Super cute though.

After reading many reviews I decided to order this shoe a half size bigger. Unfortunately, this resulting in the shoe being too large. I do have a more narrow foot so the width was just fine.

UGG with no sheepskin enveloping the foot is not worth the price. That's why we buy UGGs, for the sheepskin. Only footbed is sheepskin. They've developed a NEW type of wool liner, but sorry, if I want that, I can just buy Sorels as they have perfected the warm footbed. But while I didn't actually wear these bc I'm returning them, they surely don't seem like they'd be warm. I've lived through many many deep cold winters in the northeast and I wouldn't chance my car breaking down while wearing these boots. My regular UGG size did not fit, size up 1 full size to have room enough for thick wool socks if you decide to keeps these. Width I found too narrow for my liking - winter boots need to have lots of wiggle room to create warmth, and to wear the thick wool socks.
I'd also recommend:
Sorel, Sperry

Great looking boot, however runs very small and narrow. Back is so stiff it hurts my leg when I walk.

These are nice looking boots but the bridges down the front of the boot (even though they are on the outside) could be felt by me on the inside of the shoe. I know that this would not be a comfortable situation.

I bought this boot for a trip to Colorado (I live in NYC). It was hard to tell from the picture but the inside fur did not come up all the way to the top. Which means that the leather hit just above my ankle in a weird place and in order to be comfortable I would have to always wear high socks. The style was great and they were comfortable but I am not sure that for walking around I will be happy.

We are expecting El Nino here, and I was looking for a rain boot that wasn't a clunky, rubber monstrosity. Cecile is warm and very attractive, but she was supposed to keep my feet dry, and she didn't! A short walk with the dog (in the rain) left me with wet toes. This is my second pair - Zappos was amazing and exchanged my first pair in case it was a fluke (Thank you Jayson at Zappos!). I'm really bummed as I love these boots. They are comfy, stylish and cozy. But they do not serve the main purpose I bought them for.

Cute style but won't fit purpose which is sloshing through the winter. Too short a shaft. I envision snow getting in them from the top. It also felt like I couldn't get them tied tight enough.

I really liked these boots trying them on because they were not overly bulky...but first day out ...walking in a damp, not even wet, grassy lot and the leather around the ball of the foot absorbed and passed enough moisture to get my feet wet. I will treat them and try again but i thought they would have been more waterproof out of the box.

I've had these boots for a year and they are good for snow days. They're comfortable, warm and look nice. I'm upset that the boots failed me today. There was a lot of slush on the ground and feet got soaked. I had to walk around with wet socks. I paid a good amount of money and the boots are advertised to be waterproof.

I got this pair of boots because i really needed a new pair of rainboots and these looked like it would do the job. I loved the combat boot look style and it kept my feet dry in light rain but i tried it today after the cyclone bomb snowstorm in nyc and they are not warm at all, even though its lined on the bottom it does not keep your feet warm and the top of the boots actually scratches my calves, i tried wearing thick socks and tried it another time wearing thicker leggings to see if it would provide some comfort but nothing seems to work. I ordered half a size up and they fit well with a little room to spare but they are not comfortable at all.

I bought these boots last year, this year's style may be different but these boots are not warm at all. There is no fur at the toes or the top of you feet. There is the fur around the ankles and at the sole of the boot but not in the front. It 20 degrees on wet but light snowy day and my feet were very, very cold. Heavy socks may help but then get a 1/2 size bigger in these boots. Cute but but they need to make them for cold weather. Not worth the money.

I was going to Colorado for Thanksgiving and needed a waterproof warm shoe. A friend of mine suggested that I try UGG. Because I didn't own a pair of UGGS I went to the store to see what size I was. I tried on a pair in a size 10 and it was too tight so I tried an 11. Perfect fit, but Cecile was not available in stores anymore. The sales guy ordered the Cecile for me in an 11. Once I received the shoes they fit too big. I was dissapointed because I went out of my way too ensure that I ordered the right size and my trip was the next day so I couldn't return them. The shoe I tried on in the store was the same type of shoe. Spent 200 plus dollars on a pair of shoes that don't fit and I can't return.

Hi was so exited about this product but after 1 day of use my leg is soar and bruised due to the back part of the boot hitting my leg on every step I take. I cant return them now since they don't accept use merchandise so I'm stuck with a boot that bruises my leg... UGG needs a better return policy for situations like this :(
