This is the most comfortable pair of shoes I have bought in a long time and I am a long time wearer of Dansko and Sanita clogs. I have very flat feet and suffer from plantar fasciitis and have a very hard time finding a comfortable shoe. These were so comfortable right out of the box, that after wearing them twice I wore them to NYC for 4 straight days of walking and my feet didn't hurt once. I bought the grey, now I want the black and would love to see other colors. I couldn't recommend this shoe more.

I am a hairstylist and on my feet all day long. I wore these to work today and oh my! Comfortable!!! I loved them so much I am now ordering a black pair. You can't put a price on comfort when you stand all day.

These are very comfortable. I stand all day and these shoes are terrific. A little height with great support and a little style. I wear a 10½-11 and a little wider than average. The 42 would be like a size 11M. I would not recommend these for narrow feet.

Yeah, I will say it: I love Lucille! I cannot wear anything that does not have great arch support and these cuties really do. I have a narrow heel and wider forefoot. Lucille fits me perfectly. I originally purchased these in the black and was so in love that I bought the grey as well. They were a little stiff when I first pulled them out of the box but softened up after a couple of hours. I am constantly on the hunt for cute comfortable shoes with fabulous arch support, and I found them in the Lucille.

Really nicely made and very comfortable, however, the color is not as it is pictured on the site. The actual color is a darker, olive color. The size might be a bit smaller than a typical dansko, but I have not owned any of their closed shoes to judge accurately. I will send them back because I was looking for a more neutral color, but I would order a 1/2 size larger mainly because it felt more narrow.

I recently had foot surgery to correct arthritis in my big toe. So it's difficult to find shoes that limit upward motion in the toes, have the support I want and are nice looking. These shoes really met all these requirements. So much so that I ordered two pairs so I have a backup when the first pair wear out. Would highly recommend!

This boot is extremely comfortable, supportive and wears really well. I took this on a trip in January to Serbia, Hungary, Czech Republic and to Germany. The weather conditions were sometimes snowy and icy, these boots stood the test. They were non slip, and water resistant, I did spray before I left with water proof spray however just as a precaution. The fit is comfortable, not to narrow, no slippage in the heel, and it is a really cute boot. Would buy again!

I have ordered so many pairs of shoes from Zappos that I couldn't keep because of having arthritic toes and needing shoes that accommodate thick orthotics for hallux rigidus. I couldn't be happier with these Dansko booties. They have a removable insole and a nice deep and wide toe box to accommodate orthotics. Very well made and comfortable for anyone with painful feet. Thank you Zappos!

I loved this boot, but although it was comfortable overall, the toe box wasn't wide enough. This was especially disappointing because Dansko is known for a wide toe box.

The shoe is so comfy -- except for the toe. My toe touches the front of the shoe. I'm going to try the larger size, which I've never had to do.

Wear these everywhere!

I love these!! Fit amazing right out of the box. Like most Danskos, no break in needed - just put them on and go. I work on my feet all day and love when I wear these. Maybe the most comfy shoes in the closet!

These shoes are my absolute favorites for fall/winter. It's an understated style with so very much comfort. I usually wear an 8.5 to 9, so I ordered a size 39. They fit great with thin to medium thickness socks (the laces allow for extra or less room). Seriously, I would change my outfit so I could wear them more often.

Cute shoes with just enough of a heel to be able to be worn with dresses.

I've been wearing these shoes all winter long and they've held up beautifully. They hardly show any wear despite being worn four to five days a week (sometimes more). They're equally comfortable with thin wool socks or just tights and kept my feet nice and toasty, although we've had a milder winter than usual. They also fit well with a midweight sock if necessary. I purchased them in a size 39 which fit my size 9 feet perfectly. I wish they came in more colors! I'd love to have them in a gray, navy, or dark purple.

These boots are so comfortable! It is really difficult for me to find any shoe, let alone a boot, that is comfortable. These were definitely spendy for me, but I splurged and made it a Christmas present to me! I wear a size 7 and my boots are the 6.5-7 size. I have been wearing thin socks with them and my feet definitely "move around" in them. But, the upside is that this boot will allow you to wear thicker warmer socks. I like the rounded toe and the roomy toe box. The black nubeck (or buck) shows up soil and spots. You will definitely want a suede/nubuck shoe care kit. And these are soooo cool looking! Every other boot I have seen women wearing are the same, the pointy toe elfin-look! Fun to have a boot that is very different.

The shoes I pick first when I get dressed in the morning! I have another pair of Danskos (the Mary Jane ones, same foot bed as these) and they're so so comfortable! They have a little lift and a whole lot of padding. I have high arches and plantar fasciitis in one foot and after months of wearing a boot, these are actually helping and oh so comfy. A super stylish colleague actually said they were cute and totally on-trend before realizing my black booties came from the "comfort" section! Well worth the investment!

I love these little boots! I struggle with plantar fasciitis and teach in a school with concrete floors. Excellent arch support is a must for me and these boots deliver. I can wear them all day teaching without any pain or stiffness the next day. I was worried a little about the wedge-like heel, but it's wide enough for easy balancing. They look great with jeans and dresses with tights. All in all, they are a good boot.

GREAT cute boot for winter! Very comfortable from the first day I wore them. They are a bit wider than most bootie-type boots, which I needed. They are a perfect fit. I wear 8 and ordered 8 which was true to size. I have gotten many compliments on them so far. They do get dirty quickly as they are a suede finish, but I dont mind, they are shoes.

These are the most comfortable boots--right out of the box! And so cute. I love them! Kudos to Dansko for designing a comfie, smart-looking bootie!

I love thee boots.... they didn't require any break in time. I ordered the 39 and I usually wear an 8.5. The heel height is perfect, just enough for a little lift. I ordered the khaki. I thought from the photo that they would be more of a dark green-grey color, but they are more like a grayish with a green tone to them. But the color really does go with a lot of things. I also have a bunion and they work fine on my foot. I think they will wear well too. I really like the support they have.

Truthfully, these are the most comfortable booties I have ever bought (and I have tried many!). The fit is perfect, and they are extremely comfortable. First, there is quite a bit of "give" in the heel. The heel material is not hard, like in most boots, but somewhat flexible, so your feet don't absorb the full impact of your hitting the ground. Second, the leather is soft. so when the upper edge rubs against your skin, it doesn't end up becoming painful (as was the case with the Clark booties I got and returned). Third, the insole is slightly and wonderfully cushioned, so your feel don't get tired after wearing them all day. As other Dansko prducts, this is high quality, and well made. My only complaint is that they don't have more color choices. Soft, flexible, and bouncy --My favorite combo!

I received the Dansko Lucille in khaki today. They felt WONDERFUL, as all my Danskos do! I did a lot of checking around online and upon receiving my shoes, I have to agree with one review that I read in that the khaki color is more of an olive shade than khaki. I had seen one image of the shoes that was darker than all of the others and had assumed that color was incorrect; but I realized that it was all of the other sand-colored images that had been wrong and only the one was correct. I do like the color though. It's darker than I was expecting. The Nubuck leather uppers have a great feel that is as smooth as butter. I like the extra height the heels provide. My only complaint is that there is a slight squeak when I walk, not a deal-breaker, but slightly noticeable. But for the cuteness and the comfort, I can live with it! I'm considering ordering the black pair even though I already have two other black pairs of Dansko boots!
