The style, color and texture are very cute. The fit was, well, bizarre. I have owned a few Danskos and was looking for slip-on shoes with a little height. The toe box was average to slightly narrow. I have a slightly wide toe-box. If you have a very wide toe box, you might find these uncomfortable. The heel was ridiculously wide. It also seemed lower than other Danskos that I have had. My feet just slipped up and down in the heel. It is like it was two widths in one shoe; narrow in the toe-box and wide in the heel. I did follow the advice of other reviews and order a size down I recommend as well if you try these. Anyway, although cute in looks they are weird in fit and going back.

These are so cute, but they're too narrow. My feet are wide enough that I prefer wide sizes, but narrow enough that I can often pull off medium-width shoes in a size up. I couldn't even get these on my feet. It's too bad because the footbed is actually wide--it's just that the distance between the footbed and the upper is too shallow. I would love it if Dansko would make its cuter styles in wide too, rather than just the professionals!

Quite narrow, compared to previous Danskos I've worn, and significantly longer behind my heel, even though I ordered down from my usual size, based on other reviews. Good looking shoe, if it'll fit you, though.

So wanted these shoes to work! The shoes are so cute and Dankso's arch support is wonderful but this style didn't fit my size 7 high arched, wide with narrow heels feet. I tried size 37 which were too tight on my arches. Exchanged them for a 38 hoping a size up would help. The 38 was way too large. Had to return the both. The style and comfort are great - I simply have difficult feet.

The shoe is soft leather, and very comfortable. I have hallux rigidus, arthritis in my big toes...and it hurts. But worse, it makes buying shoes a nightmare. I thought this shoe would work to give my toes enough room, and it didn't. The toe box hit my big toe right where it hurts. If your feet are fine, this clog is GREAT because it's less clunky than most styles, more streamlined.

Love these shoes! No breaking in so very comfortable. Classy looking not clunky the gray color is beautiful. You won't be disappointed. Zappos is the way to go. Can't go wrong!

Love the style of this shoe. It looks amazing on my foot. However, since I had a hip replacement three years ago I have to be very choosy about my footwear. I can't walk with a normal stride in this shoe, it is too high and too loose. Sorry to have to return it.

These were perfect from the moment I put them on! As if they were broken in already. A little loose in the heel as clogs should be. I have a high insole, and lower back problems, these are a comfortable solution.

I wish all my shoes were Danskos. The Mavis is sleeker looking than the Professional. I usually wear a nine and ordered the 39 and they're perfect. Walk the dog for miles in these with no problems. More, please.

I love that this Dansko has the feel of their clogs but the look of a shoe. I usually wear a 40 but returned for a 39 - the fit was then ideal. I also tried the blue color, which was really beautiful, but since I wear denim most of the time, I felt like it was too close to my jeans color and I was missing the contrast. The gray is a great neutral and goes with everything - a very nice change from brown or black.

Love these shoes! They have the comfort of a clog and the appearance of a dress shoe. Perfect for work!

Cute shoes! I ordered a size down from my normal size because of the reviews and it fits my left (longer foot due to surgery) . My heels are narrower so they fit like a clog.

These are excellent. I wish that Zappos had some kind of sale as I wanted to get another color. They are great for your back, knees, neck..keeps your posture straight and extremely comfortable. The suede looks great with pants and skirts.

I love these shoes and have worn them almost every day since they arrived. They work with or without socks and look great with cropped jeans, a skirt, or just about anything. I absolutely love them!

I love Danskos and these shoes are true to the brand. They are comfortable right out of the box and I like the snakeskin styling for something different. I have a bunion and usually need orthopedic inserts but not with my Danskos - hurray!

So happy to find a more stylish shoe with the great Dansko footbed! As others mentioned, it runs large, so I went one size down than my usual Dansko clog and it fits perfectly. This is a little more narrow than the standard clog (for my wide foot, so probably true to size for others), but still comfortable after breaking in for a day or two. Thanks - keep making more of this style heel please! A tall boot, perhaps?

Love these clogs. Long time Dansko lover, but I wanted something a bit sleeker and less clunky. These look so chic! All of my other Dansko clogs are 38's but I went down to a 37 and they are a good fit. Even tried the 38 just to be sure, but they were huge. No question that you need to size down 1 size. Love the comfort and style of the Mavis. Have a feeling I'll be getting more!

38 is my normal size for Dansko. Unfortunately, these shoes were considerably bigger, necessitating returning a full size smaller. Many of the professional styles are designed to fit loose, loose is not the problem with these shoes.

Love, Love, Love! I have worn these shoes everyday since I got them. So comfy, so cute and so many compliments. I did order a size down from my normal Dansko size and they are perfect. Have worn them with skinny jeans, boyfriend jeans, & khakis. Just a great versatile shoe.

These are clogs, not loafers. They fit like clogs. My heels move a little in these clogs but they should. I bought them in the gray snake and the brown nubuck because they are so comfortable and I could not decide. They are more fashionable than average clogs with all the support and comfort. I am a size 8, take a 39 in some brands but the 38 was perfect in Dansko for me and these were no exception.

These are beautiful shoes! The craftsmanship, shoe design and materials are top notch! However, I ordered a 38, the same size as the last two pairs of Danskos that I have worn. I swam in them! They are so much too big that I am not sure at all what size I should order! Back they go, and maybe no replacement. Too much back and forth is too much carbon footprint for me...

Love these shoes - I have an old pair of Sanitas in size 40 but had to downsize to 39 in this shoe - beautiful alternative to black or brown!

I live in Europe and size a 40 over here. I had my mom bring these over from the U.S., so naturally I ordered 40 as the Dansko website stated that they are sized european and fit true to size. These shoes are a size too big, even if I allow for a finger's width of space at the heel. I will need to return them for a 39 which is a full size smaller than what I wear in Birks, Converse, El Naturalista, etc. Save yourself the hassle and order a full size down.

I was ready to be in love with this shoe, but alas it did not fit and must go back. I am a 10.5 and I usually struggle to find a shoe that fits... this one fit okay across the foot bed (I'm guessing it would have stretched with hear) but my heel was popping out of the back...I could see blisters would eventually form. I didn't want to have that happen to me gain so there you go.

These shoes are really beautiful...the fit not so much. After reading the reviews so the sizing, I ordered a smaller size than usual. The length is fine, but they seem so much wider than my other Dansko clogs. The only reason I'm keeping these shoes is because I like the style. I wore these shoes the other day and turned my ankle twice--something I don't usually do.
