I have a few different pairs of this company's shoes and really like them. However, after wearing these off and on for several months I find the soles are way too hard. I can't really take a long distance walk in them without my feet hurting.

ecco's Euro to US sizing guide is different from other shoe manufacturers (i.e, Doc Martens, leading to a shoe that's too big. This is an awesome shoe but the mis info on sizing is frustrating. These shoes were to be used for a vacation and that was not possible as a result.

Ecco completely ruined this shoe with their update. I had 4 pairs in a row and out of the box they were so comfortable all day. Now these even after multiple wears are so rigid and uncomfortable. Not the same shoe. Based on the listing I thought this might be previous model as the picture looks like it.

These Ecco shoes were of suprisingly poor quality. The white outsole immediately started marking, from just about anything, with dark gray marks that would not come out. And now, the tip of the bottom sole is coming unglued. Very dissappointed with these two pair; I bought white and gray. I've had Ecco shoes before and they never performed like this, in such a short time.

Terrible shoe. I've never had a foot odor problem until these shoes. I had to throw them out. When I googled it many other people were having issues, but when I called they wouldn't acknowledge it.

This is my hubby's go to al day shoe. He walks to work so he needs some support. Not as great as a walking shoe, but the do the trick.

This is a very reliable well-wearing product. This is the sixth year I have worn these shoes and the fit and quality have been remarkably consistent.

I LOVE that they carry these shoes in size 16's. Please keep making this size as they are my favorite shoe!

The fit for me is exact. These shoes are comfortable right out of the box, not requiring any break-in. The style is much better than other sneakers and I’ve bought these multiple times.

I had to size down for this shoe. I normally wear a 10 and had to buy a 9 which fit perfectly. The shoe only comes in whole sizes, so I guess I'm lucky the 9 fit. The shoe looks great. Very nice quality materials. It is a little stiff, which is why I gave comfort 4 stars, but it may be more comfortable as it breaks in. I haven't had a chance to wear the shoes much yet. While a little stiff, they are not uncomfortable and I think the comfort is better than just good enough. It's just not quite 5 stars out of the box.

I normally wear a size 10 but I had to go down to the size 9-9.5 for this shoe. I have a relatively narrow foot, but this shoe fit comfortably for both length (down a size) and width. Material is very nice, and once I had worn the shoes for about an hour or so they were already molding to my feet. Very comfortable.

Ecco Soft 7 is a classic. Great style, great leather, worth the money.

A classic Ecco sneaker! The leather smells like real leather. The shoe is built to last. In this case you get what you pay for!

Typical Ecco fit. Breaks in to be like a comfy sock. Would prefer if the white sole band was easier to clean. It's not rubber, so the usual cleaners do not work.

Bought these for my Dad and he absolutely loves them! He is very hard to please!

Size is true, quality excellent.

The same version of this shoe is made in women's sizes but with a width of B vs this which is a D. As a wide footed woman, the men's Soft 7 is terrific and was very comfortable right out of the box.

I am a huge fan of ECCO. I own 2 pairs of ECCO boots, 2 pairs of golf shoes and 2 pairs of these Soft 7’s. I am a 10W and all of these shoes/boots, I wear the equivalent to 10-10.5. Great fit, comfort and durability! Highly recommend considering this brand.

My Hubby wore these all over Europe. Great traction on cobblestone streets, train & ferry platforms, you name it. Look so much nicer than the typical American tourist’s bright white tennis shoes. He even wore with grey or black pants and a blazer to dinner without getting the side eye. He says the reasons to buy them are for comfort and support. Everyone’s happy
