I have worn a pair of the Ecco Soft 7 sneaker for several years. They have been my favorite and most comfortable shoes. I am so disappointed to return these! The right shoe of this new pair has a rigid support running around the heel that very quickly wore a large and painful blister into the right side of my foot. I have tried manipulating this part of the shoe to make it more supple or to flatten out but it is really rigid. Neither my old pair nor a black pair of Soft 7 that I recently purchased has this ridge. I feel like this shoe is defective and that this pair is not going to work for me.

These are cute shoes. Purchased them for walking on a Europe trip. Wore them for 6 hours while walking in Venice. The shoes do not have any support or cushioning. The heels of the shoes rubbed huge blisters on the back of each ankle. These are the most uncomfortable shoes for walking. I would not recommend buying these shoes for any purpose other than ornamental wear.

I WAS a loyal Ecco client, have been wearing them for over ten years so they are my good to shoe. These unfortunately these are very uncomfortable to walk in. You can feel the little knob on the sole of the shoe as you walk. It was a painful experience. Seems like Ecco quality has gone downhill and O wont be buying them again.

I have bought ecco many times. Usually very happy with the brand. This shoe was cheap leather that was bent all along the heel of the shoe. Returned them.

Soft is not the word to describe these very painful shoes. Extremely disappointed with this purchase. I broke them in around the house and was overly optimistic that they would loosen and stretch before vacation. Sadly, I purchased to wear in Europe this spring. The shoes came out one time and quickly returned to the suitcase and I wore my On’s the whole time (looked stupid but I was comfortable). I can not recommend this shoe because it has a small toe box, poor arch support and no give. I wear a 9 1/2 M in all shoes and these are super narrow. I should preface this review with the fact that I work in healthcare, spend 6 hours a day on my feet and rely on good footwear, I prefer Altra’s with a wide toe box, and zero drop. I doubt I will purchase another pair of Ecco’s again.

Ouch. I admit that my feet are picky about their shoe preference, but I'd hoped this pair would be a winner - especially in light of all the amazing reviews. Instead, I sadly found them too flat, lacking in cushion, and more narrow than expected. Bummer?

The shoes had yellow discoloration of the white soles.

I ordered these based on the reviews and was I disappointed. I use orthotics and there is NO way they can fit into this shoe. I could barely get my foot in and I have a skinny foot. There is no arch support at all and the shoe is not supportive. It's cute, but that's it. If you have good feet, go for it, otherwise don't waste your time.

Converting a European size (40) to a range of US sizing (9-9.5) makes no sense. I would never buy a pair of shoes marked 9-9.5 but I was desperate to get these shoes, and the return policy is good, so I risked the purchase. Of course, they are really size 9 and will never fit my true 9.5. You guys should rethink this.

I am returning these shoes because the wrong size was sent. The box was marked with the size I ordered (40; US 9-9.5) but the shoes are size 38; US 7.

Ecco changed the footbed of this version of the shoe. Every year I buy at least one Ecco, but no such luck! They put an insert in and it feels like the shoe is to shallow for my foot! Sad! I still have my old versions and I'm sticking with that! Disappointing!

shoe was very cute on, but was stiff and uncomfortable. could not wear 5 minutes!

I had 3 pairs of these shoes before and never went anywhere without them. They provided support and were soft from day one. but after 5 years they needed to be replaced. I tried these in 3 different colors. First I thought white one was off because getting white leather is complicated, so I ordered the classic (black), but I was disappointed with quality (or lack thereof). The leather seems much cheap/low quality. The sad thing is that I was willing to pay 70% more for these than those I purchased 5 years ago.

These are so cute. However, I take a size 12 medium or a true 43 (Naots) and these are too small.

Loved the dusk color of this sneaker. However, it seems it runs narrow but more than that they look like a boy sneaker - something like a TV personality would wear. Waiting for my return label.

Didn't get these on long enough to walk in them. I tried the right shoe and there is something about the tongue area that really hurts my foot. I realized that there was no need to try on the left shoe....I would be surprised if others don't say the same thing... I could not wear them at all.

These shoes looked comfortable but in actuality were heavy, clunky and quite uncomfortable. I returned them quickly!

fit and size were fine, but holes for laces bothered the tops of my feet and the seems did so as well

Description states that these shoes are WHITE!!!! Color of leather is NOT WHITE!!-it's a very pale gray. So odd. I expected the universal bright, white leather. Disappointed with color. Love the style and fit, but back they go.

I really like these shoes; however, after wearing them 3 times they got a little dirt on the them. I tried to hand wash them only to find it changes the entire texture and left weird water marks on them. Given the high price I would not recommend these shoes unless you can afford to throw them away when they get dirty.

I love ECCO sneakers and this shoe did not disappoint. I purchased 2 different styles, however, and decided to keep the second pair I purchased. It was a tough decision because these shoes are really comfy.

I ordered twice and was not able to get the right size.

These shoes feel stiff and the size is off. I ordered a size 10 and it felt like a size 9 at best. Had to return them.

DEFECT! The left shoe has a large bump in the arch that is so big, it hurts. I own three pairs of this ECCO soft sneaker in various colors. I was so excited when the Ombre Cow Nubuck color to become available in my size! After trying it on, I know why people are returning this particular pair of shoes. It has a defect! The left shoe has a large bump the pushes into the arch of the foot. It's very uncomfortable almost immediately. I even had my daughter, who wears the same size as me, try them on to confirm. She immediately felt the bump too. Too bad. They were so cute!
