I really wanted to like this shoe. I loved the way it looked, but I just couldn't love the way my foot felt in it. It almost felt like it had a little lift in the heel area, which made me feel like I was walking on my toes. I have a wide foot and there was plenty of room, but the inside of the shoe was rough. I like to go sock-less with this type of shoe and it was not comfortable. I also couldn't get the laces as tight as I need to get them. They seemed too thick and unmoving. Overall, it was a "no" for me on this shoe. I ended up choosing a slip on Sperry and a slip on Sanduk.

I really like this shoe, the fit and comfort were perfect. My complaint with them is that the laces are just too time consuming and too difficult to make them easy to wear. My feet are narrow, so I do have to lace them pretty well, and the material that the laces are made of do not make it easy. I just felt it took away from the convenience of the shoe, which is why I ended up with the side-zip Ecco bootie, which I love.

Heel slips. Vanilla is more of a soft yellow-tan. With cream laces contrasting the darker shoe and the toe cap, looks a bit like a bowling shoe.

I wanted to love this cute shoe but it didn't love my neuroma, so I have to return it.

Loved the shoe but disappointed as the color of the leather is rubbing off at the toe.

I own (and love) 2 pairs of plain Ecco sneakers, so was excited to get the floral print. I was surprised by the quality when I took them out of the box. The floral pattern seemed to be glued over the leather, and had a wrinkled look. They also seemed tighter than the pairs I own, even though I ordered the same size. I wasn't comfortable keeping a pair of $150 shoes when I had doubts about the quality, so unfortunately had to send these back. I'll keep an eye out for more Eccos in stores. Maybe there are changes in the style/size that are hard to see in online pics.

I'd hoped these shoes would work for an upcoming vacation to France. Sadly I returned them. They are very cute but feel as though they cut corners with the shoe. Their was a funny lining inside the shoe that I didn't think would be comfortable. And they lacked sufficient arch support on their own, and didn't have the room for an insert. Love the ease of Zappos in sending and returning!

i'm only reviewing the grey color for the 'ECCO SOFT 7 SNEAKER'. i ordered the black pair several months ago and adore them! sooooooo i ordered a second pair in the grey. i don't know if they are incorrectly sized or what, but i could barely get them on. i have ordered the next size up...will let your know how that goes.

The 'moon cow grey' is army green, not a neutral grey, and these feel a bit narrower than my other Eccos. The style looks great, the leather is nice, and the construction seems good, but not quite what I hoped for in color and fit.

Fit a bit narrow. Sending back.

Returned. I have custom orthotics and they couldn’t make up for the lack of cushion in these shoes. I loved the style but they didn’t feel comfortable to me.

Tight in toe box

I really like the style of these sneakers but they pressed uncomfortably on the joints just below my big toes. There something in the design around the lace holes in that area that was unforgiving. Had to return.

I ordered the dark shadow color but returned them. The photo makes them look like they're black all over but the upper is actually a shimmery grey, like a seal coat. It's cool, but I needed black. I ordered several pairs of Ecco Soft sneakers. All versions were too wide in the heel. I wanted a wide toe box, which I got, but the shoes wouldn't stay on my heels. Too bad, as they were very cute and, otherwise, comfortable.

The reviews on these made it seem like they were the most comfortable shoes for travel. I found the back heel to be a little stiff and they rub as well in toe-bed. They are a little heavy as well. I bought an uggs white pair of slip-on tennis shoes and ended up wearing those everyday on my vacation in lieu of these ones. I am still keeping them but they do have some breaking-in-time...

These are going back. I thought they were super cute and thought they would be a little more stylish than running shoes for a trip to DC and NYC. I wore them for a couple of hours one day and couldn't handle them. They feel REALLY TIGHT, especially in the toe box, and I have narrow feet! I re-laced them to loosen them up and that didn't help, either. I even bought a bigger size and those just gaped in the heel area... So...going back. They were super cute but I stuck with my Saucony running shoes for the trip!

I have a narrow foot and heel and these shoes fit me well EXCEPT for the fact that they felt a bit too short and the toe box was too shallow. I have worn Ecco shoes in the past and they have always fit me well but not these. Too bad because I really like the way they look!

The fit was a little snug across my toes. there was no sense keeping these when other Ecco shoes offer a bit more comfort.

Soft leather. Very nice styling. I just needed a bit smaller size.

This shoe was beautiful, but the fit didn't work with my high arches. Too bad! I really would have loved to have kept them.

This shoe was really attractive, but the toe bed was a little too narrow, and the heel was too wide. Ended up buying Asics.

Nice looking casual sneaker, but narrow across the toes. I'm a standard medium is just about every shoe, but this one rubbed my toes.

The shoe is very attractive but no arch support at all. They feel very flat footed and my feet hurt within a few minutes of wearing.

I wear a size 11 or 42 in nearly all brands and shoes but this Ecco shoe runs extremely, extremely small, at least in the larger sizes. A 42 felt like a size 10 so I ordered a 43 which is supposed to be equivalent to a size 12 or 12.5. The 43 was barely long enough for my size 11 foot. There is not a lot of room in the toe box so if you actually plan to walk in these shoes I would order at least a size larger than what is recommended. I don’t know whether they are true to size in the smaller sizes. I was hoping that they would be a good travel shoe but I’m not sure the toe box is roomy enough for all day walking comfort. Considering that this brand runs so small one would hope think that they’d offer more styles in the larger sizes but they don’t. Only a few styles are available. Just a note about the navy color—my shoes arrived with traces of blue dye on the white shoelaces. I’m annoyed at that and may replace the shoelaces at some point.
