Unfortunately, the shoes I received were damaged. The box arrived broken and the sides of the soles were all yellow and discolored. I tried the shoes on anyway to see if a replacement would work. I usually wear a 10 to 10.5 so I ordered that size. The length seemed appropriate but the width on the front half of my foot was tight. I do not have a wide foot. The shoes were quite uncomfortable and the grommets for the laces were digging in to my instep. I am returning.

I have bought this same shoe in other colors and loved them. But sadly the navy pair felt rough and uncomfortable.

I am usually 8.5 M. I orders 9-9.5 M and it felt so tight and uncomfortable. The leather was not soft at all.

This is NOT the same shoe as before. I ordered my 3rd pair, as my 2nd pair was looking a little worn. My first 2 pair were comfortable right out of the box. This one is too tight in weird places, most notably across the forefoot where Ecco has decided to add a seam, rather than the flat leather piece. It did not occur to me to read the reviews before ordering, as I THOUGHT I was ordering the same shoe. It seems that Ecco has just shaved a little off here and there, most likely to save money in the long run. But it makes an uncomfortable fit for loyal customers of this shoe. The next size up is too big, so I guess I will stick some shoe stretchers in for a couple of weeks and see how it goes. I will definitely reconsider before ordering this shoe again.

Love the shoe but way to stiff and too short for size. Company needs half sizes.

Unfortunately the shoe already had a significant scuff mark on it. I didn’t even try it on.

This shoe is difficult for someone who wears a size 8.5. It runs in a size 8-8.5 and the next size up is 9-9.5. In other words, if your size is 8.5 one shoe will be a little too small and the next size up will be a little too large. I ordered the 8-8.5 and it would probably have been more comfortable in the 9-9.5 with an insole to take up the extra sizing. Unfortunately I wore the shoes trying to break them in and cannot return them. The style is good looking but soft is not the word I'd use to describe these shoes. The leather is stiff and they have some sort of bonded synthetic fabric inside that makes them difficult to mold to the shape of the foot. Though I have several pairs of Ecco shoes that I bought years ago these shoes are not of the same quality leather. In sum, disappointing.

Leather was really stiff and that fact combined with the lowish heel height made them uncomfortable and I wasn't sure if they would break in without a lot of effort. Really cute shoe, though.

Disappointing how small these feel both length and width. I didn't believe ordering a bigger size would solve the width issue.

I purchase these in the same size in black and then ordered the same size in blue. I couldn't get my foot in the sneaker. I'm so disappointed because the black sneaker is the most comfortable sneaker I've worn. It say 10-10 1/2 on the box but the shoe says only 10. So inconstant!!

I just could not keep these. Initially, they felt good. Style is so nice, plenty of room in toe box. I have metatarsalgia and after wearing them for 6 hours, in the house on tile floors, my metatarsals were so sore. I wish they had worked.

OK comfort while sitting. No support. Tight on toes. Look cute with almost any outfit, making it easy to pick. However, the leather causes shoe odor over time. May need deodorizer.

I so wanted to love these sneakers. They look terrific- just what I wanted, they fit well but… the’re just plain uncomfortable. So sad to return them.

I wanted so much to like these but the rubber across the toe was pressing down too much on my toes, so they’ll go back.

I wanted to love these shoes, and the reviews made it seem like I would! They were of excellent looking quality, but they were just so tight, even when I sized up! I don't have feet that are wide, and have never needed a wide size before. These just happened to fit way too tight. These went back.

this shoe is no longer the same from 10-15 years ago; I bought my third pair not too long ago and the quality of the leather is no longer soft and supple. the leather feels stiff, somewhat like pleather. very disappointed. no wonder they are on sale.

Very disappointing from ECCO where I have routinely received quality shoes commensurate with the higher price. Style is beautiful, but leather is cheap and thin. Shoes are stiff. I can’t imagine using these as walking shoes. Will be return returning these.

The leather is very stiff and the shoe laces which I assume are leather are hard to stretch to open the shoe to put on. They are very well made and I recommend but too stiff for my sensitive bunion area.

The shoe felt really stiff, and not terribly comfortable. I had originally ordered my regular size of a 9.5 but exchanged those for a 10. They felt tight in the toe and slippage in the heel, regardless of how I tied them. Will have to return.

These were sneakers were too narrow, and the size was a tad short. It is possible the leather might soften up and fit better, if I went up a size, but the next size up was not available. Also, they are too costly to throw away if they don’t “break-in”.

So comfortable but might be hot in the summer as the material doesn't breathe. I downgraded the overall rating because they labeled the pair I got as white. Definitely not white. It's cream. Very cream against my white pants. I'm so sad that they have to go back.

These were so cute I really hoped they would work, but they were very stiff and uncomfortable, and my heel kept slipping with every step, no matter how tightly I laced them. Sadly, sending back.

I followed a recommendation on this thread and I returned the Women's size 9 and went for the Men's equivalent (6-6.5) which offers more toe width. I have narrow heels and wide toes, and am recovering from plantar fasciitis. The men's equivalent size is perfect, fits my OTC orthotic, and I don't need anything else. I have worn them around the city, on public transit, and had them on all day for work. Perfect.
